So I did have a problem with BMCS due to some late payment fees but they have since given a good will gesture and I now only have to pay the actual balance owed. BMCS hasn't improved my credit score... Vis mer

Keep in mind that the Credit Score we show in the BuildMyCreditScore app comes from your "TrueVision" score, which is provided to us by TransUnion. The score we show in your app is up to date but, because different Credit Reference Agencies may calculate your score differently and use different bandings, it may differ from what you see from other providers.
We report your spending and account activity to the Credit Reference Agencies and they will use that information, amongst information received from other financial institutions, to calculate your score respectively.

Keep in mind that BuildMyCreditScore should be seen as a 12 month journey to help you improve your Credit Score. It's not a quick fix and there are factors outside of BuildMyCreditScore that can cause your score to go up or down on a month to month basis. This includes any other bills, credit cards, debts, or loans etc you may have through other services.

When signing up to BuildMyCreditScore, you have to choose a payment plan and confirm that you are setting one up. Without doing this, you wouldn't be able to have an account.
For your monthly payment of 7.95 GBP, our evidence shows that the majority of our customers that used the product, as recommended, see an increase in their score of between 11 and 55 points within the first 3 months. Of course, individual results may vary and your credit score is made up of a number of factors that could impact your individual results.
You should think of this as a 12-month journey to establish a robust credit history to experience the full benefit and account for any other factors impacting your credit score.
We can see that your credit score has increased 16 points this month, and 82 points overall since signing up. You can see these increases in the BuildMyCreditScore app at any time.
