The Buckinghamshire website's application system is unprofessional and the team responsible for maintaining it needs to improve their work. The process of applying for late preschool information seems like a daunting task. I cannot anticipate the level of unprofessional website system from the council.

After reading all the current reviews of Aylesbury bucks County council, i’m in familiar company, i for one would like to know where all this money they get as well as our council tax goes to it sure as hell not to wear it supposed to go to. Local government is no different to our countries Government corrupt money, wasting parasites because it certainly doesn’t go, where it’s supposed to take a look at Aylesbury just like the rest of the country falling apart government is there to serve the people more like serve their selves. They disgust me. I mean to say council tax just goes up and up how do they think people will pay for it and they sit up there in there Ivory Tower looking down at as all

Tried to setup council tax for regular direct debit payments, seemed like all had gone through. Three months later I get a final demand for council tax! I paid in full on credit card, as it is crazy expensive, 2nd highest in the UK of all counties in actual fact and for terrible services I might add.
6 months later I got another final demand - but I already paid.
The council tax system is just inept, inadequate and doesn't work.
The council phone line is also a waste of time, I've been calling for hours, then the phone hangs up.

Aylebury Council are a complete joke.

I'm sure many councils operate like this, but it's no excuse.
Virtually every interaction I have had with them is awful. They take our money under the threat of the law and unsurprisingly they treat us as subjects rather than customers. Don't bother asking them for help, even for help that they are legally obliged to provide.

Worst council with corrupt staff who mismanage public money. Soon the money you are wasting will run out and this council will go bankrupt. Your dodgy staff and contractors will become jobless

They are not charging all their local councillor’s full council tax. They are allowing them to leave homes empty for years without charging them empty premiums.
I wonder how many poor unfortunate people they are taking to court who are unable to pay their exorbitant council tax.
I complained about this nearly a year ago to the full executive committee, but they did nothing to help.
The CEO is on a package worth £300k which is double what the prime minister earns.
Look at the roads in this area. The worst I've ever seen.
They won’t investigate complaints properly and won’t escalate them to level 2 complaints which blocks you complaining to the Local Government Ombudsman. A dirty trick to stop you complaining to a basically useless LGO anyway. The LGO refused to investigate corruption.
A person who is currently a councillor stole part of my father’s land. My father was registered blind and deaf and suffering with terminal cancer. The theft of the land and original fence also involved criminal damage and trespass in this case.
They caused the sale of my deceased fathers house to collapse by giving poor advice and then started to charge exorbitant council tax premiums on us. They run this council more like a mafia than a public service. They have forgotten who they serve. No services were provided to the house for three years.
They allowed a monstrosity of a house to be built next to ours with overlooking windows that ruined the value of our house.
These people are completely corrupt. You would be safer complaining in Russia.
They have no accountability to anyone. But they have forgotten that eventually everyone gets their comeuppance.

Please don't allow Bucks Finance Deputies to look after your loved ones. I did and the lady was absolutely hopeless. She didn't take action on a loan and the estate lost a lot of money because the time limit expired to get it back. My experience was an absolute nightmare - one I will never ever forget till I die. PLEASE TRUST ME - I'M NOT FROM THE UK - BUT DON'T EVEN THINK OF USING A BUCKS FIN DEPUTY. THAT'S MY EXPERIENCE FOR 3 YEARS IT WAS HORRIFIC. I'M WRITING THIS AT RISK BECAUSE THEY ARE CHARGING PEOPLE FOR DEFAMATION DOING THIS WHERE I LIVE. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY BUT THEY ARE VERY INCOMPETENT.

I feel very sad when I read all these reviews about buckinghamshire council. I mean, is there anything they do correctly? How many people have to suffer before changes are made. I mean so many are complaining about all different things and how many others haven't written a review. It's selfish but I am so glad my deceased Uncle and I don't have to suffer any more from their incompetence. Where I live 65klms from Brisbane our Councillors are often corrupt but our services are good. My Uncle had alzheimers and when I rang him he would often say - Meryl come and get me now! He didn't get it that I was in Australia. I did get him out once via a UK Solicitor but he was only out a few weeks and he was back. Once a nurse told me my Uncle had pushed a lady over and she died. I was shocked but I would take this as a warning to others. I'm sorry that you all have to suffer.

My Dad was referred for urgent respite care from GP as my Mum is in hospital. Took 2 days to ring back then no help at all. Have to source my own respite as it would take them 3 weeks to find anything. They could look around for a small fee but I would still have to look at homes. Seems they just want to make money out of vulnerable people. I wonder if I left my Dad on his own to fend for himself would they even care. I doubt it. It doesn’t matter that I am trying to support both of them with absolutely no help. My parents were reported to safeguarding too but this didn’t seem to bother them. All I was advised was to complete a financial form on line for an assessment which would take up to 3 months. Just platitudes and non proactive. Can’t even monitor carers or support them without having to constantly ring them. Even then you’re fobbed off and offered no support. My Mum has had 1 carers assessment in 4 years and that was over the phone! They just don’t care. I don’t even see the point of the service to be honest as it’s not fit for purpose.

Buckinghamshire Council Adult Social Services are thoroughly corrupt and money grabbing and dishonest .

Due to them and their lies a lovely friend died in horrific circumstances and they are trying to cover this up by blaming it on us .

They refuse to let us make a complaint saying we are not allowed to .

Delays in Chesham, HP5 due to four temporary traffic lights. Took 25 minutes to drive a journey expected to take less than 7 minutes to a doctor’s appointment in Red Lion Street. The delay was caused by a cordoned stretch of road less than 20 metres long and no work taking place on this site. Rang Bucks Council spoke to unhelpful Customer Service representative who assured me she would ‘pass on’ my question and email me later which did not happen. Rang today and was transferred, after 21 minute wait, to ‘High Ways’. Simon has no record of any temporary traffic lights in Chesham yesterday and will investigate and ring me later today - I am waiting. Received text from NHS informing me that I had missed my doctor’s appointment which costs the NSH £68. (I did attend this appointment albeit late in line with most other patients.)
Bucks Council employ contractors to carry out road repairs but appear not to check if work is being fulfilled.

South Bucks are rubbish! I got told that l have to pay £8.00, for a black box, that someone stole when put outside ,for collection, I now have been told l have to pay for someone else's theft! Why are we paying Council Tax? Big question where does it ALL go, other than the people who work there, Rabi in South Bucks could not answer that so decided to put me back to the automated start again! Discussing!! Shame on you all!!!

Received a parking ticket which I challenged as I had tried 3 different parking meters, all not working. Apparently, you have to keep walking round Aylesbury trying to find one that works. (couldn't download Ringo App). As a resident of Buckinghamshire, i find the council to be very unsympathetic to its residents but I guess they need the revenue to pay their inflated wages. Very unimpressed 😐

87 year old left standing at reception having to explain her issues in a public space. No privacy awarded. Answering pointless questions that had no relevance to the initial enquiry which confused her. Only to be told after 20 minutes that no staff are available anyway. What is the point of office premises if there are no staff available for the public to talk with. The receptionists was completely unhelpful incapable of assisting yet wasted 20 minutes on nothing. Might as well place a closed sign on the door.

I cannot complete referral form for adult social care. System will not accept either of my email addresses.
Tried to complete complaint form but again would not recognise either of my email addresses. Valid emails. On one occasion accepted but then rejected agsin. I am a carer 24/7 and this is time consuming,frustrating and exhausting.

4 months.

It's taken them 4 months to send me my council tax bill.

They are sh!t hot at sending out threatening letters to tell me I'll be taken to court/have enforcement agents sent...

Never mind I can't pay the blasted bill because they hadn't given me one.

Don't start me on their online account sh!t, because that's a load of b0llocks too.

Waste collection is frequently missed but customers only have two days to log a missed collection on a page on the website. The link to the relevant page is sometimes broken. So you have to have an overflowing bin for two more weeks. And they wonder why we have a significant rat problem. Ask to speak to a supervisor? Again, they’ll call you back up to 10 days later. Absolutely rubbish customer service, which I suppose is appropriate.
