The east midlands business team don't even deserve a 1 star! Incompetence might be an understatement, thieves would be correct, ignorant would perfectly fit a few!

Absolutely awful experiencing, I had 4 separate appointments all of which no engineer arrived. Constantly calling at 30 minutes minimum every time, plus chat with no resolve. Every time they kept saying thank you for your patience! In end canceled order and went with another company that sorted it in 9 days what bt couldn't do in 2 months. I will never ever again use bt for any of my business.

DISGUSTING COMPANY. USELESS. ZERO CLUE. NO HIERACHY. NO CONTACT. NO ONE GIVES A TOSS. UNABLE TO LEAVE A CONTRACT THAT HAS RUN OUT. NO ONE ANSWERING EMAILS. NO ONE ANSWERING CALLS.

BT local business had promised a new line in Aug 2021, when it finally arrived it was over a year late and kept on crashing. I turned it off after 1 week as it was causing havoc with the tills not connecting, asked them to take the equipment back as it should be within the cooling off period. They now expect me to pay £23,000 to get out of the contract. It has left my business in a mess. I am trying to find other people with similar experience and try to work out how do you get out of this?? Any help will be gratefully received!

awful experience push to sign a five year contract which they cant provide leave my business without landline dealing with this has been a total nightmare i'm still paying for two contracts and only one being used new service still not connected they spin a load of bull at you to push a signature and do not put the relevant engineer visits in place to see if it is at all possible. having spoke to a physical engineer he stated that they are telling people that physical lines are being removed by 2025 this is bull as they will always have physical lines this provides the broadband. They wrap you up in circles and you are left dealing with BT and they wont help as the local business teams are the ones who set the account up so be warned do not touch these at all always decline and speak to BT directly , they contacted me not the other way round and i am regretting engaging with them at . Heed the waring their previous reviews are not great!!!

Scam company that cold call you claiming to be from BT but are a franchise. Promise you all sorts but don't deliver anything. Contact BT directly and don't have anything to do with this company.

Still Not Resolved!
I am still being charged in April 2023 for services which should have been cancelled in June 2022. BT Local Business are a sub-contracted company but are backed by BT. This means BT don't take responsibility for the mess BT Local Business make of your account but the Local Business team can't sort out their mess because they don't have full access to your account. They have already had to refund me £960 of over charges but they are still over charging! Its so frustrating.
If you want to do business with BT, demand to do it with BT direct and not BT Local Business!

Can't actually write how bad the service is from Plymouth BT Local Business. It has taken months (started in May 2022) to try and get a working system and it still isn't fit for purpose. It's now November!
They don't answer calls or emails. They even said their voicemail system has been broken the entire duration. Not great for a company selling telecommunication systems!!

Bt business has the worse customer services provided.
Staff is unprepared, service took 3 months to start. I have spender time, lost money at my shop daily with no internet. With no explanation and I was charged a month before start and I was full charge for a cancellation not requested!

Jut want to say BT is number one rubbish company in UK,
Please please!! do not ever trust British telecom is one of the top big company across UK, There are few they will provide a good service than BT and I never ever go back to BT until my last breath and I will tell my friends and families knows this crap things as much as possible what they have done to me and my business

*SAY NO TO to BT*

Pushy salesman claimed to be a legit part of BT when they are actually small independent franchises, told me a bunch of lies over the phone trying to talk me into signing up to an eye wateringly expensive contact which would have been completely unsuitable for our business. Regardless of if they are a legit part of BT or not the experience has cemented my view that I am never going to have anything to do with BT or BT local business again. There are far better companies out there who do not resort to trying to scam and trick their customers into signing up to new contracts.

This company calls me about twice a week. I've explained that we are in a contract for the next 5 years. I've just had another call again.

Awful Company Dont Touch. Looking to transfer Company mobiles to them, only 5 lines, so we arent a massive concern. Sold a deal to move over, signed contracts 5 weeks ago, and nothing since. All our lines are out of contract with current supplier, phones are tired as used a lot so new ones are needed. No communication from BT, no care and attention from BT and Useless staff. Now looking at alternatives who can actually manage 5 mobile phones !!! Bloody awful waste of time. BT Lancs you should be ashamed

Awful, pressure sold my team a system that would never work, then funnily followed it up with a catalog of embarassment.
PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU SIGN UP!!
Months down the line, no responses, no phone lines, no answers, no solutions. Just ignored.

Want to have 2 sites with business phones from BT. Have ordered over a month ago and they still can't tell me when they will be installed. I have been on the phone with them all this week and no joy still no date.
This is not what I was told when I ordered.

shocking, shocking - do not use. I sincerely wish I had never been persuaded to sign up with BT business. I have been promised calls back - they never come. Just never be tempted to sign up with BT local - It makes me ashamed to be British!!

Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful company. Very quick to sell you something, utterly useless in action and support, 4 weeks in and still not got all 15 lines running.

Dont bother, find another company to look after your Voip phone

Dreadful, disgusting, no after sales care or contact. Sold a supposedly cheaper broadband package and cloud voice phone on Aug 21. My billing has been incorrect ever since as being charged for old and new charges. I have a complaint open with BT billing. What’s more annoying is my business landline number has not ported to the cloud voice phone and have been allocated a completely different number with a different area code. Our registered phone number is a business one which no one can get hold of us one so I refuse to pay for a service that we can’t use. What’s more annoying is the sales team have rung me several times trying to sell me another product but not interested in my complaint. I wish I had never bothered with BT small business in Birmingham. I’ve sent them a complaint email but doubt I’ll hear back. Do not deal with these people whatever
