Charlatans

I bought a mattress from them and they never delivered it, then they declared bankruptcy and restarted the company with "sleep" in the name, took the money and ran.
Shocking state of affairs.

A hard mattress that is comfortable

The whole process was very easy and the company communicate really well with customer. The delivery guy forgot to load the mattress protector so they called to let me know they would send someone out to deliver it straight away. A great company with great products.

Perla is mostly foam and has virtually no natural or luxury materials

Bought the Perla at ridiculous cost last February and am still paying it off via their finance option. I was seduced by the description of "silk, cashmere, alpaca wool etc" on their website which sounded luxurious indeed. Removal of the cover (which is polyester) shows the Perla to be mostly layers of foam with virtually no luxury or natural materials. This product is still being sold by the new phoenix Brook + Wilde Sleep company (following liquidation) with identical description of the natural materials. Its just an expensive bit of foam!! And the liquidation and phoenix company that replaced it means they will not honour the warranty

Svar fra Brook + Wilde Sleep

Hi Hesaan,

Thank you for your review.

While Brook + Wilde Sleep is a separate company with different ownership, we know receiving this news is not ideal and we are sorry we are unable to assist you with your warranty.

We cannot assist directly with your warranty, however if you do feel you have a warranty claim you could try to raise this with the finance company if you are not happy with your product.

As for your concerns about the mattress materials, we can assure you that our Perla mattress uses all the natural fibres listed on our website. Over 25% of the top surface cover is pure silk, and other layers within the mattress also contain natural materials like new wool, alpaca wool, cashmere, bamboo, and additional silk.

You are right that foam is also used in the construction. As described on our website, this mattress is a natural element foam mattress. This combination of natural materials and foam technology provides the comfort and support you need for a restful sleep. Each Brook + Wilde Sleep mattress includes our wave technology for optimal pressure relief and postural support.

Kindest regards,
Brook + Wilde Sleep
