Hi Ivo, thanks for your review. Unfortunately, cakes have little shelf life however, food is usually still safe to eat after the “best before” date, but it may not taste as fresh or have the same texture.

Hi John, thanks for your review.
We’d like to clarify a few points, as your one star review does not accurately reflect the situation.
Our tracking records confirm that there was an authorised request to dispose of the shipment. You ordered OXO stock cubes, which unfortunately fall under restricted animal products that are not permitted to enter Texas.
As outlined in our terms and conditions, which customers agree to prior to checkout, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that items ordered are eligible for import into their state or country.
Given this, we kindly ask that you reconsider your review, as the circumstances were outside of our control.

Never received my order and never got my money back
I'm indeed very disapointed as I never received my order. They sent a picture of a garden to whom my product was delivered but ufortunately the garden was not mine. Extremely bad service and I'll never order anything from that company again. I only lost my money and had a very bad experience.

Hi Astrid, thank you for your review. However, we’d like to clarify the situation, as your comments do not accurately reflect the service you received.
Your order was shipped and successfully delivered via DHL. On the day of delivery, you authorised DHL to leave the package in a safe place (your porch). Once this authorisation was given, any liability for the parcel’s security passed to you, as per DHL’s delivery terms.
British Cravings fulfilled your order in full, on time, and as promised. The delivery issue you experienced is with DHL, not British Cravings. In fact, you confirmed in your own email correspondence that DHL was at fault, not ourselves.
We kindly ask that you reconsider or amend your review, as it attributes blame to British Cravings for an issue outside of our control.

Hi Abeer,
It’s disappointing to see a one-star review submitted before giving us the opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue. We take customer concerns seriously and are always committed to putting things right where possible.
We would genuinely appreciate it if you could reconsider the rating and contact us directly at customerservice@britishcravings.com so we can look into this further and assist you accordingly.
My chips expired on March of 2025
My chips expired on March of 2025. They were stale. I asked for a new shipment to replace them and was turned down. I was very disappointed.

Hi Melissa,
Thank you for your review.
We’re disappointed to see that you’re continuing to claim the crisps were stale, particularly as this is factually incorrect. The product in question—Walkers Worcestershire Sauce crisps—was released in March of this year and could not possibly be out of date.
You provided a photo showing the best-before date clearly printed as 30/08/2025, which is 30th August 2025 in the UK date format. It appears you may have misinterpreted this as the U.S. format. To clarify, UK packaging uses the day/month/year format, so the date on the crisps indicates they are well within shelf life.
Furthermore, as previously advised, we offered a return and refund or replacement if you were not satisfied with the goods. That option remains available.
In future, please refrain from making false claims, as they are misleading and unhelpful.
