This firm is BEYOND unethical and breached their contract. They were sued for fraudulent activity and none of their clients were informed until months into their lawsuit. I was promised that any litigation would be handled by Brandon Ellis Law firm, yet no correspondence with any of the plaintiffs/creditors were handled by Brandon Ellis Law Firm. Initially, the firm had many promises with no settlements. Between May 2023 and November 2024 I paid over $18,000 and had zero settlements resolved with creditors. After many emails and phone calls to Reliant, I was refunded $8,000 (which was for the months of February to October 2024). Any payments I had made prior to February 2024 (the date of Brandon Ellis Law Firm being sued), were non-refundable according to my contract. YET THE FIRM NEVER SETTLED ONE ACCOUNT!!!!! They stole $10,000 from me. I’ve been sued and have had my wages garnished since December of 2024. I’m now being sued by eight of the creditors and have trials and court dates which are accruing additional funds and debts. I’m currently financially unable to seek legal counsel. Since wage garnishment was initiated, I have drained all of my savings and was forced to withdraw a substantial amount of money from my retirement (which caused additional financial penalties). Brandon Ellis Law Firm has ruined my credit, destroyed my marriage, as well as my reputation. The amount of stress this has created in my life is insane. Now, my financial hardship is the worst it has ever been. If I knew then what I knew now…I would have just filed Chapter 7/bankruptcy.

Law firm shut down as of November 2024! Didn't notify clients until December when it was too late for some clients like me!

This is the worst legal representation they will take your money as they did me never never settle any debts they never settled any debts do not deal with this company Brandon Ellis Law Firm is a fraud they only gave me back half my money

We are being sued and you have neglected to settle the accounts properly that we had enrolled. Stuff showing unpaid on credit report and running our credit instead of helping fix it like promised.

Do not use this "lawfirm". They will just keep talking your money for years and there will just be no contact at all making you wonder are they even using the money to settle the debts. I wasted a year and a half 13k+ I have them money and they just let the creditors sue me instead of paying them off. Just got an email this morning letting me know they are removing me from their program. They are breaking their own legal contract. Breaching the contract when they said they will fulfill their duties to help settle all the debt. This is just a huge scam. They got sued big time. I hope there is a class action lawsuit against them I will gladly join that.

May of 2023 I signed a contract with Brandon Ellis to consolidate 3 credit cards and pay them off by 2026. I've paid over $5,000 to them for nothing. No one showed up for over the phone court dates and I'm now facing wage garnishment. I had to file a cancellation of representation so the lawyers from the credit card company can talk to me. I am 100% worse off now than I was when I signed up with Brandon Ellis. I also filed a complaint with the BBB to try and get my money back.

It’s been the most horrible decision I made , I am out thousands of dollars with NO RESULTS 1.5 yrs later . Now I’m being sued by my creditors because this law firm has done nothing on my case and no one will answer the phone or respond to emails . Run away from this company .

absolutely being drug through the ringer, no help signed with Brandon Ellis Aug of 2023 has been nothing but a nightmare and right now I just found out they have not assigned an attorney to any of the cases that went to the courts------ so I am sure I was found liable. A YEAR AGO I HAVE BEEN PAYING $700 month and have no idea what to do now!!!!!!!!

Don't let the fake reviews on here fool you. I've had the same terrible experience as everyone else. I've deposited over $5K in my account and absolutely nothing has happened. Brandon Ellis is still debiting my checking account monthly when they were supposed to stop when the lawsuit was filed in January. I called Reliant and stopped everything. You'll get a full refund minus fees that Brandon Ellis received for doing nothing. In my case I'm losing about $1K. Avoid Brandon Ellis at all cost. Also, if you're looking for another program then review the lawsuit. It lists all of the co-defendants and they should be avoided as well.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I am extremely irate with this "company" I chose to trust in handling my debt. Over the past year I paid them every month on time to settle debts for me, and come to realize they haven't negotiated a single thing despite me keeping up my end of the deal. I got fed up when I found out they are in a lawsuit and could not provide me with any further assistance but expected me to keep paying. I get calls every day, because my debts have been sent to collections and I am being sued. I had never missed a payment prior to the "legal advice" to stop all payments immediately and they would handle it from there. My credit is RUINED and I am in a much deeper hole than I ever was before!! I paid them over $4000 over the last year and when I decided to pull out of the program, they only returned $1400 to my bank account. They got me for over half of my money and did NOTHING for me!!!! I just want justice.

I agreed to go with this law firm for debt relief program almost a year ( Sept.) I HAVE NOT HAD ANY OF MY DEBTS THAT THEY HAVE TAKEN CARE OF AND MMY CREDIT IS RUIENED. They keep taking my $$$ every month but still nothing is being done with the debts.
You call them, send emails, notices from your debts and like you don't even hear one word from them. Shame on you, but mostly

Gonna stop payments coming out and try and get attorney to help me with trying to start processing

Signed up in May 2023 and we were told in 7 months we should have our first settlement. July 2024 we were informed of a lawsuit against Brandon Ellis and they could not do anything with our account. At this point we had paid $9,900 into our account. We chose to cancel our contract with Brandon Ellis. When I checked our account we only had $5700 in it. Brandon Ellis took $4100 and did absolutely nothing never even made an attempt to do a settlement. We now have a judgement against us and had to take others measures to keep from losing our home. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMAPNY IT IS A SCAM

NEGATIVE!!!! Started debt consolidation with this company Sept 4th of 2023, was told it would only take a few months for settlements to come in and by 6 months would have all accounts in settlement offers. Almost a year later, MANY MANY MANY calls later, on hold over 4 hours at one point, never a response from emails finally spoke to a lady today who called me back as I asked for a manager to call me back ASAP or we will start our own lawsuit and so she called me back a week later. She stated that because of the lawsuit we can cancel or just wait for the outcome from the State of New York court on the outcome of continuing settlements. They were not supposed to be collecting ANYTHING from us since January 2024 yet they were till last month! Cancelled today and going to try to find a lawyer who can sue them for the rest of my money in which they DID NOTHING BUT SEND POA's to the creditors!!!!

Grifters, pure and simple. They set up this payment plan, talking about how you can get a refund if you drop out of the program. I know they told me that their fees were non-refundable, but I thought that was the $1,000 setup, not everything.

And everything wound up being something like 45% of all payments. I think they got like 25% of the settled difference with the creditors too, though I can't swear by it, as I pulled out when the government started suing them.

And near as I can tell they did NOTHING for me. I certainly saw no evidence that they did anything but pull almost $600/mo from my checking

So if you're with them, do yourself a favor and pull whatever balance you have in your settlement account ASAP. Be warned though, it's only going to be about half what you gave them.

And do it now. They're selling off accounts for some reason, probably to limit liability in their lawsuit with the government. My account being sold was what clued me into the situation.

Hopefully someone gets a class action lawsuit going soon. I really couldn't afford the almost thousand$ that they took from me. If I could, I wouldn't have hired them. I just would've paid the debt!

So I started with this company back in Oct. of '23. Got some info about there law suit just after the first of the year and that was about it. Nothing has happened with the accounts they were to be handling for me and of course now there law suit keeps them from doing anything further but taking more money. I can not log into my portal now because it says my e-mail is invalid. And it is not! I tried to call about this to only be on hold forever and it didn't matter which option I picked it was the same recording playing in the back round. I saw on here to call Reliant (949)859-1404 and they would cancel the account with them and return the money they have. This seemed pretty easy so I wonder if there is a lot of people doing this or is this something ordered by the court? I'm not sure in the mountain of paperwork I signed if there will be a repercussion for this or not but I don't want to pay for something that is not happening and has no sign of happening soon. So I've roughly paid $4800 since Oct of last year and I was told I was getting back around $2700 and they were not allowed to withdraw any money since Feb. of this year. You do the math but that's quite a bit not to have done anything.

Has taken money out of my account on a continuous basis without negotiating with creditors. I have received numerous calls and letters from creditors. One letter was a potential lawsuit, which at the time I was able to get ahold of Brandon Ellis Law Firm. However I have not heard anything back and they keep you on hold for hours. My husband has spoken with a lawyer who recently retired from the company he works for. This lawyer asked my husband to provide all the information we have to her and she is willing to take this on against Brandon Ellis Law ProBono.

Called client services multiple times no one answers, totally frustrating. Finally I decided to email them to cancel my account immediately. Thankfully I read a review that (Katie) wrote providing Reliant with phone number I called she said she will close my account and all funds will be returned to my bank account within 5 days. My advice don’t do any business with this firm, as they did nothing for me but take money out of my bank account monthly

Federal charges need to be brought against Brandon Ellis Law Firm. Only in America people/companies can lie cheat and steal and get away with it w/o repercussion. I have independently been working with creditors trying negotiate settlements for hours of my personal time. Everyone that has witnessed this abuse should unite.

This company is fraudulent. No matter how desperate you are to get help paying your bills DONOT sign up with this company. Not only will they collect your money out of your bank account, they will NOT keep you informed of the payments being made to your creditors. In the mean time they are taking fees out of they money you pay them monthly that is NOT returnable. The customer service rep at Reliant said that Brandon Ellis is being sued right now for unlawful fees taken from their clients. I don't know how true that is. it could be a front. This company is absolutely ridiculous. I hope they burn to the ground!

This is an unethical law firm. They will steal your money and they will not do anything that they promised. If you are with this law firm, get out ASAP. Stop giving them your money.
