I needed a mortgage capacity review in an hurry for a final settlement in court, so I decided to give Boon mortgage brokers a call, I was greeted by a very pleasant ,professional, jacob who guided me through the whole process. The whole thing I thought was going to be daunting was surprisingly very pleasant and jacob was there for me in every step, I can't thank them enough and would definitely recommend to anyone in the same situation THANK YOU to all at Boon especially jacob x

Also knowledgeable about the type of mortgage required for the part ownership purchase I am pursuing (Home Ownership for Long Term Disabled). This was my first experience of a remortgage and it wasn’t a great one. It took a very long time, almost 3 months. I incurred unnecessary solicitor fees as I was told to instruct a solicitor however, I wasn’t informed fees were included as part of the remortgage so I didn’t need to get my own. I have also ended up with the wrong product, so I’m now stuck with an interest only mortgage rather than a repayment as they clicked the wrong button. And the term is for 12 years rather than 10. After I pointed out the error in paperwork sent from the bank and found out it had completed I was told I had to phone up the bank to see if I could change it as they could no longer do anything their end. I couldn’t change it as it was now an active mortgage, so I have to wait a minimum of 6 months before I can change anything. I’m not happy and disappointed as it will affect other aspects of my finances in the future.

Been with boom for ten years and now going through my second house purchase. They remain as prompt in returning emails today as they did at the beginning and are always a pleasure to work with.
