Terrible insurer, they change the terms of your policy, when they know the way you applied at the outset and months later refuse an additional driver, DO NOT INSURE WITH THIS COMPANY, they charge you a £75 fee, and withhold your rights under the FCA act to withdraw due to their slow 2 month response time so you should not be liable for this setup fee on a policy that should never have been set up or any admin or cancellation fees. AVOID THEM

In addition you cannot contact anybody, they have a South African call centre when you phone you cannot hear properly the line is terrible and then you are directed to a chat desk online who also cannot deal with the enquiry.

Do yourself a favour even if it costs a bit extra and book direct with any UK insurer with a UK call helpline and avoid any online only brokers who simply don't care about customer support because they take their fee one way or another whether you stay in the policy or you dont!

They charge me £15 to add my middle name on the policy

Very disappointing experience with BOOM.

The customer service was particularly frustrating. During my enquiry, the conversation was suddenly ended because it had reached 6pm. If the service is going to stop at 6pm, customers should be clearly informed beforehand. Ending the conversation without proper notice was extremely frustrating and a complete waste of my time.

Even more disappointing, I have spent almost a week contacting different customer service agents regarding changes to my car insurance. Unfortunately, I received different answers from different agents, and some of the information was simply not accurate.

I find this very difficult to understand. When dealing with something as important as car insurance, customers should receive clear, consistent and accurate information.

I have only just purchased my policy, but based on this customer service experience, I am already very disappointed.

It was great experience straight forward decent price and everything what i needed.
