Terrible experience with Bonds customer service
Terrible experience with Bonds with an issue of a lost (expensive) order - with customer service ending my chat whilst I was trying to get to an acceptable response and automated an unhelpful responses over email and no other way of getting support. As of now, I am almost $300 out of pocket with no accountability accepted by Bonds.

Don't understand all the negative posts here.I placed an order on the 16th of March to the UK and they arrived on the 27th.
I purchased 2 mens thongs and they were both stylish and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend bonds for both quality and efficiency.
UNAUTHORISED DEBITS!!!
TAKE A SCREENSHOT OF YOUR CART BEFORE PAYING!!!! FALSE PROMOTIONS & UNAUTHORISED DEBITS!!! I was overcharged almost $100 MORE than what I authorised at Checkout and told I could not have any amount refunded without proof via a screenshot. Spoke to LOUISE & HEIDI who not only wouldn't deal with me after saying I didn't have a screenshot and cant be refunded or have order cancelled and then hung up on me, but also proceeded to mockingly tell me that everything was "clearly in T&C's".
They pretend to help, but don't
Following my previous review, Bonds posted a public response claiming to intend to help me. I reached out to them and they are not helping me. In other words, their comment seems to have been just for show.

Bonds Men's White Singlets Inconsistent Quality
Bonds Men's White Singlets have been a part of my wardrobe for over 40 years.
It is increasingly difficult to find my size (usually 28 now 26) in stores, so I buy online.
I note a quality difference in the same size depending on the retailer and country of origin.
For example, Singlets purchased from Amazon (.au) come from Cambodia and those purchased from Target (.au) come from China.
The singlets manufactured in Cambodia are longer and wider and lose their shape easily, even when first worn. They also feel "thinner."
The ones from China are closer to size specifications, stay in shape when worn, and fit better.
Without doubt the ones manufactured in Australia were the best for shape, feel and longevity. However,
I understand the economic imperative to move manufacturing to overseas but a Branded product should be consistent regardless of the country of origin.
Thus, I will no longer risk buying from Cambodia, and I cannot buy from any online retailer unless I know the country of origin of their stock. Unfortunately, Amazon does not always make the country of origin clear.
I sent the details direct to Bonds as requested by them on: Tuesday, 21 February 2023 2:39 PM and I have received no acknowledgement nor a response.

Only worn twice and the undies are…
Only worn twice and the undies are already falling apart. Got them for a Christmas gift. Contacted Bonds customer support about getting an exchange and they said I needed to contact the person who gave me the undies, get the receipt then go back to the retail store where they were purchased from and try and get an exchange from them. Haha, no worries Bonds. You've just lost a customer and I'll post this review on a few more websites for your poor customer service.
Do yourself a favour and buy the generic undies from Kmart. Avoid bonds at all costs, overpriced garbage!

Zero Customer Care and Service
Firstly, I wanted to mention I was not allowed to publish this on the Bonds Review website. Therefore I feel they are not being transparent with the customers.
Like others who have left a review, I never received my order.
I made my purchase on October 16th, and it was shipped out on October 21st and would arrive between the 24th to the 26th of October. After October 26th, it was continuously delayed until Australia Post contacted me and told me I would need to flag the issue with Bonds. That was fine; however, it is already November at this stage.
I sent detailed emails to Bonds forwarding the official emails from Australia Post and what they needed to do moving forward, and I also stated that I would like them to resend the items as I had used a coupon. There were highly competitive sales when I made this online purchase, and I did not want to lose my voucher and the sale prices.
However, Bonds would send me extraordinarily vague and generic emails that appeared to be computer generated. I attempted to call, but I could never reach someone.
I wasted a lot of my time and energy on an issue that Bonds could have resolved by resending the "lost in transit" package, which was not my fault.
I was automatically sent a refund on November 23rd with no further explanation. I lost the $20 coupon that Bonds had sent me and the multiple sales they had at the time.
I will not be purchasing from Bonds Online again. All in all, terrible experience with bots for customer service.
Bonds needs to put their customer first, not last.

Worst online shopping experience
Worst online shopping experience, very slow dispatch and customer service ignores complaints.
They are unreliable and do not post the items you pay for.
I made a purchase on the 30th of October and have received no notification what so ever. It is now the 8th of November. I have sent an email asking about the status of my order and they are so rude they have not replied. I am lucky I paid with paypal because I am now going to lodge a dispute with paypal and get my money refunded. Don't buy from this company, they are unreliable and it is not worth the hassle to now have to go and get a refund.

Very poor and rude staff in Dfo Essendon store. Keep on interrupting badly while shopping and have hanger obsession. They don’t let you remove hanger from clothes even if you are buying them

I had the absolute worse experience in Broadmeadows Bonds. One of the workers had very poor customer service and an awful attitude. I was unhappy with the service and disappointed in Bonds for having workers who have no respect, not any customer service.

The quality of Bonds mens singlets has deteriorated greatly since manufacturing went to China. The weight of the cotton is getting lighter & lighter so they wear out quickly & I’ve noticed even the sizing is smaller than the last one I bought. Absolute rubbish & I won’t be buying anymore of them. Very disappointing BONDS !!!
Website broken, bad customer support.
I recently attempted to order a number of items during a sale on bonds.com.au.
When I tried to check out and pay, an error appeared on the website which resulted in my card being charged, but no order actually placed on their system.
I contacted support about this, as I was concerned that I had been charged by hadn't received an order confirmation email.
I immediately contacted support about this issue. After about a week, they finally came to a "resolution", which was simply to refund the original transaction. So now it's a week later and I'm still without the items that I ordered, and of course I can't just order them again because they all cost 40% more.
I contacted support again and suggested that perhaps they could send me a voucher code for the value of the discount that I originally received, so that I may order the items again and not be disadvantaged by their broken website. They quickly responded and told me that they are "unable to honour sale prices for any orders that were placed outside of the sale period".
So basically, their website has bugs and can't be trusted, and if you are misfortunate enough that something happens with it, you can't rely on customer support to offer any form of support whatsoever except for your money back eventually and to waste your time.

I'm disappointed that an Australian company like Bonds can't structure their checkout system to take into account the time differences around the country. I live in Perth Western Australia. Bonds (Hanes), is in Victoria. Their is of course a 2 hour time difference between our two cities. I purchased two pairs of track pants at 11:06.29PM on the 29th of June. The sale offer was, buy two pairs, get 40% discount. At checkout, I was only discounted 30%, off the two items. While excited at buying two excellent pairs of trackies from Bonds, I did not notice the extra charge at checkout and, paid. When contacted to enquire as to why I was discounted only 30% off my trackies, Bonds answer was that my purchase was made at 01:06.29AM on the 30th of June and that their EOFY sale had ended 29th of June. My gripe with Bonds is, why are consumers in Western Australian not given the same right as their eastern states counterparts, when buying online, during a sale period. I bought the two pairs of trackies in good faith, before 30th of June, Western Australian time, knowing, when the EOFY sale was to end and, that there was a 2 hour time difference and, while not knowing, thinking that Bonds checkout system was set up to take the 2 hour time difference into account. Looks like it's not. Honest mistake. No, not in Bonds opinion. Hence, no online credit for the extra money charged. My confidence and loyalty to Bonds has sharply dropped. This was my first and maybe, my last online purchase with Bonds. All for the sake of a $10 difference at checkout. Really disappointing online shopping experience.

Never order from this company online!! My wife did and we never recieved our order, but Bonds customer service keeps telling us that it has been delivered, which is a lie. They refuse to do anything about it, so we definitely won't order from them again and you shouldn't either..

After shopping in the elizabeth store,I bought 2 different pairs of track pants,1 pair were way too tight around the ankle,no worries,I'll go and exchange or refund,apparently this can't be done without the tag on the item,well that's not good,the elizabeth staff member was extremely rude, no reason for it!don't go there!!!!,if this is the case,the receipts needs to state the refund policy that the item must have the tag!!!!!it would be handy if I KNEW....

2 out of 2 orders wrong or lost!
I have only ever placed 2 orders with Bonds Online and both have been disasters. I’ve never had any issues with any other local online orders.
First one they sent me the entire wrong order - I got someone else’s baby gear and my large sock order went to someone else. Eventually this was resolved after several emails to customer service.
2nd incident is still ongoing - my order has not turned up, their first attempt at tracing the parcel was to send me a report that it’s at a postbox in WA (I live in VIC) and delivered on a date that was before my order was even placed - so it’s not my order/package at all. After disputing this I’ve not heard back. I’m in disbelief that 2 out of 2 orders could go so wrong. What’s going on with your systems Bonds Online !!!
