Bought the queen chickpeas. So much better than the supermarket variety, and worth every penny .

A bit salty, but very yummy
These beans are very yummy indeed. Knocked a star off because for my taste, they are just a tiny bit too salty. But will buy again.

Hi Julie, we are sorry to hear you found the beans too salty. It would be so useful if you could let us know your order number and the product name so we can investigate this a little further! Thanks so much, we really appreciate your feedback.
Absolutely amazing beans
Absolutely amazing beans! My friend was raving about them and I thought, well how good can a chickpea be? One taste and I’d ordered £40 worth online. They’re a brilliant go to for simple meals that taste extra special. Would heartily recommend.

Literally the best beans ever
Literally the best beans ever. Perfectly cooked, salty, so flavoursome. Before trying these, I'd never had beans that were so delicious you could eat them straight from the jar. My favourite are the big butter beans but chickpeas are a very close second!

Great product!
Great product!
Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that it would be great if you had a system for re-using your jars. I know it’s an industry wide thing but would be great to see the uk doing more to re-use jars and bottles - ie a way of getting them back to you.

Hi Ollie!
Thanks for your review. We had been thinking about this a lot internally, as we tend to go through hundreds of jars a year as a team!
This resulted in us developing pantry labels which customers could stick on their jars to keep reusing them! I have attached a link below. We thought this was more energy efficient than trying to collect jars for manufacture, as they are currently produced in Spain.

Wow, I'm a total convert!
Wow, these beans are a revelation! The depth of flavour and the texture just add another dimension to your meal! No way am I going back to tinned beans. Thank you!

Chickpeas not quite as expected
I am pleased to have the chickpeas but a bit disappointed that they are relatively soft. Was expecting the firmer texture of other beans in jars. They have a good flavour.

Svar fra Bold Bean Co
Hi Valerie, I am really sorry to hear you found them relatively soft. We would love to know the batch number, so we can check to see if it was a one-off issue. Just checking to confirm it was the Queen Chickpeas?
Brilliant Beans
Brilliant Beans! So much better than what we have to endure for ages! Homemade baked beans with tomato sauce from scratch and the Queen Butter Beans, trust me you'll never go back to a tin :)
