Thank you so much to the blue light consultancy for helping me. All of the coaches were so supportive and helpful especially my coach Darren. He really helped me enhance my answers and provide me with confidence. After failing my first interview, I had felt much more prepared going into the second and passed this time around.

I came to Bluelight quite late on in the process. This was because I'd managed to navigate the main recruitment process myself. However, it is complicated and because I was pursuing the DC route, I realised I needed some advice and help.

All I can say is, Brendan and the team were more than happy to assist. So, no matter where you are in the process, don't be afraid to ask for help. Their knowledge and commitment is unrivalled.

My coach was Andrea, who reached out to me in the first instance, when I asked for assistance. Her approach and experience was clearly evident when we first met. She put me at ease and took time to understand and guide me through the process.

Clearly, a fantastic team. I would recommend anyone struggling, to contact them for help.

An absolutely fantastic Team! Group sessions were really informative and engaging. 1-2-1’s with Richard were stellar!

This service is second to none and really helped me get through the final interview after I failed in my own first attempt. Highest recommendation don't look elsewhere. If you are wanting to join the Police then this is a must to get the best possible chance. Thank you to everyone especially Raj as a super coach.

Bluelight were absolutely superb, I really don't believe I would of got through the recruitment process without them.
From first contact I was on a webinar 4 hours later, daunting at first but was soon put at ease by the friendly and approachable manner of the coaches.
Darren went above on beyond with his 121 coaching, even taking time out of a family emergency to honour an appointment I had with him - this was really appreciated.
Although Darren is easy to get along with, he gets the most out of you in the time you have together and wants the best outcome for his students so, if you've spent a lot of time working on something and it's not good enough, be prepared to be told it isn't good enough, he will say it straight and put you on the road to being your best.
Darren is a wealth of knowledge and has become something of role model to me in just the short time he spent coaching me.
So something I was extremely apprehensive about became something which I really enjoyed because of Bluelight giving me the tools and knowledge to tackle the application process with confidence and enthusiasm.
I look forward to working with Bluelight again in the future.

Great coaches, informative webinars.
Course material goes into a lot of detail and well structured.

I discovered and enrolled myself into the BLC team following my first Senior interview failure and can confidently say it was the best decision I made to progress my career. Looking past the price, this has been a worth while investment into what is hopefully going to be a long and healthy career. I enrolled 4 months after my first attempt and only had 1 months prep before my next interview due to how quickly I was given a date. My first interview I failed by a few marks but it’s safe to say that the marks I got, I just about scraped from my poor answers and don’t get me wrong, I prepared to the best of my ability to achieve answers that I thought were sufficient. I was very mistaken. Following my coaching with the amazing Sarah, who may I add has a bottomless pit of experience and knowledge, I passed my second attempt with flying colours. The second time round I was a few marks off top whack instead of the pass mark with feedback from interviewers being I was the best candidate they had. I was genuinely shocked to hear this, having read similar posts and reviews regarding BLC, to achieve that kind of feedback really was eye opening to the opportunities BLC have to offer. I am forever grateful for the support and look forward to return once I’m part of the promotion process.

I signed up to the Bluelight Final Interview Academy with only 2 weeks to go until my final interview for PC. I wholeheartedly believe without the guidance and support of the academy and my personal coach, Darren, I wouldn't have succeeded - especially considering I've never really had an interview before, being so young. The academy provided a whole host of material regarding the type of questions your interview panel may ask you, the appropriate structure for your answers depending on the question, and even guidance and support for additional assessment's you can be asked to complete during your police recruitment process.

Moreover, during our 1-to-1 sessions, Darren provided me with clear guidance on what I needed to achieve to be successful at my final interview and therefore drastically improved my confidence. Darren was super easy to get along with and always available whenever I had any questions or doubts.

Ultimately Bluelight provided me with the recipe for success; it was then just down to me to follow and implement what Darren suggested - it's really that simple! Absolutely worth all the time and the effort!

Thanks Bluelight, but especially Darren :)!

I’d like to share my heartfelt thanks to Raj and Andrea — and also to Catherine and Brandon — for guiding me through my superintendent promotion process.

Raj and Andrea are very different in style and personality, but that combination became one of the biggest strengths of the journey. Raj brought his big personality, endless encouragement, strategic insight, and those brilliantly terrible dad jokes that somehow lift you up when you need it most. He made me genuinely believe I could achieve this — and that belief was half the battle.

Andrea balanced this perfectly with her calm logic, structure, and unwavering support. She helped me make sense of the process, stay grounded, and keep pushing forward with clarity and confidence.

Their coaching didn’t just prepare me for a promotion; it helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect. I would wholeheartedly recommend investing in yourself with their support, whatever rank you’re striving for in policing.

Most importantly, I feel I’ve gained friendships that will last far beyond this process. I’m truly grateful for everything they’ve done….. now let’s get on with this 100 day plan Kohli.

Signed up to complete my day 2 DC with the MET. The service was fantastic, my mentor Richard was excellent and worked around my busy work schedule.

The level of detail provided is phenomenal, and all of the additional seminars were fantastic. If you’re considering this I would suggest going ahead with it and taking the plunge. Blue light don’t just get you ready for your assessment, they get you ready for working in the force you have chosen. It really is a great service.

I joined Bluelight with only 3 weeks to go before my final interview for DC, there was a lot of content to cover over such a short period of time, particularly when working as well (there’s a reason why they say start early!). I do feel if I hadn’t of had this extra tuition I may have felt overwhelmed on the day and not as prepared as I was with the mentoring from Darren.

All the information and guidance he gave me definitely helped me be fully prepared for the assessment. If it wasn’t for Bluelight and Darren’s help I would’ve struggled. Definitely worth the investment.

Excellent communication and genuine care throughout the process. The team is very responsive to questions and provides guidance that goes beyond just interview prep. I thoroughly recommend Blue Light Consultancy for anyone serious about a career in policing.

Special thanks to Darren, my mentor, who was fully invested from day one and supported me all the way until I found out I had passed. Truly exceptional service!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Exceptional Support from the Entire Bluelight Team
I’m proud to say I’ve passed both my Online Assessment Centre and Final Interview—and I couldn’t have done it without the incredible support from the entire Bluelight team.
From the very beginning, the coaching was outstanding. Andrea and Raj were equally brilliant—guiding me through every 1-to-1 session, webinar, and WhatsApp message with clarity, encouragement, and genuine care. Andrea helped me prepare thoroughly for both the OAC and Final Interview, while Raj’s insights and structure gave me the confidence to perform under pressure. Their support was consistent, personal, and always uplifting.
But it wasn’t just them—the wider Bluelight team played a huge role too. Whether it was answering questions in the forums, sharing resources, or offering motivation when I needed it most, the whole team created a supportive environment that made me feel like I wasn’t alone in the process.
Bluelight isn’t just a coaching service—it’s a community of professionals who genuinely care about helping you succeed. Thanks to their dedication, I’ll be joining the police service in London this June. I’m incredibly grateful to have had them by my side.
If you’re serious about joining the police, I can’t recommend Bluelight enough. Their expertise, encouragement, and commitment to your success are second to none.

A great experience!

Passed OAC and final interview first time
With the help of Jane and Raj.
The insight and confidence gained from the experience has been invaluable.

Such a professional service and well worth the money.

Passed 1st time both OAC and Final interview

Great coaches , professional service .
Thank you to Jane and Raj!

Knew the interview went well when the inspector looked at me confused at the end and asked about my preparation

Worth the money

Proud to announce that I passed my day 2 DC Interview with MET. I had my interview on Friday and I’ve just received the news yesterday afternoon. I am so happy!!! 🎊🎊🎊

I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all of the coaches at Bluelight , every webinar and videos from the interview course have been really helpful. I can truly say I couldn’t have done it so well without you.

A special THANK YOU to Raj ,my coach who has been amazing throughout our sessions. His support, advice and guidance from 1-1s have helped me so much and encouraged me to do the best for my interview.

Joining Bluelight Academy has been the best decision I’ve made regarding my preparation for the final interview with MET. Knowing the DC route is one of the hardest way to get into the Met, after passing my OAC Assessment watching and learning from Brendan’s YouTube videos, I’ve decided to join the Academy and I can truly say it was the best decision for me. Their professionalism and dedication was outstanding and the final interview course was amazing. All videos and webinars have helped me so much in order to be the best version for my interview. Even that I had some knowledge about policing as I have a Master degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice , I can truly say I couldn’t have done it without Bluelight.

I would highly recommend the academy for everyone who is in the recruitment process as it will guarantee your pass. ☑️

Truly amazing and outstanding team!

Entering one of the most toughest processes in police recruitment is certainly a daunting experience, but doing it with Bluelight in my corner evolved that into such an incredible and confident ride. I joined the Bluelight family just before my OAC week and I was paired with Raj, who quite honestly changed my whole perspective and mindset and gave me the support needed! This resulted in +95% overall score and placing me in the top candidates! I was then quickly paired with Catherine as my final interview coach which simply put, was amazing and gave me a solid direction to head in and our 1:1s were invaluable. I could not of had anyone better! Both Raj and Catherine have supported me throughout the recruitment process and has always been at the end of a message/email at any given time and it’s been an absolute pleasure to do them proud and pass the recruitment process. They have had my back the whole time.
If you are thinking of starting yourself, don’t give it another thought and get your discovery call booked in! You will not regret it! Thank you to Raj, Catherine and all of Bluelight coaches for your time, dedication and support. Best Wishes. Chris Baker

Massive thank you to Raj from Bluelight.

Pleased to say I have just been informed I passed my final interview yesterday. Panel was very positive “we would like you on our team”.

Would fully recommend it to any person who wants to join the police force in the country. All amazing and helpful coaches who teach you thoroughly about how to prepare for the online assessment centre. This is the best of the best.
