Delivery was quick and efficiant and very quick

I paid 700 pounds for the installation service which was cancelled twice finally the pergola installation was completed and when the installers drilled through my porcelain tiles they used the concrete drill bit damaging and cracking my patio which cost a fortune and now looks crap.

Awesome pergola easy to build with 2/3 people took approx 4 hours. Easy to follow instructions.creates an all weather outdoor space for dining. Very pleased, pergola was delivered a couple of days after ordering, just be aware that the boxes are very heavy (2 strong people to carry). It took us a full day to assemble, but we had to level up our base first.

You may need a regular 12mm drill bit if using the anchor bolts supplied as the 12mm drill bit supplied with the pergola is SDS, which was not an issue for us (luckily we have an SDS drill) but may be for some people, also 2 tallish ladders are handy to have at your disposal.
construction was straight forward with good clear instructions.
There was only my hubby & I doing the construction, but we were both able to use a screwdriver so that helped,
You will also need to think about which way you want the louvres to open so you can decide which side to have the controls as the louvres don't pivot past about 120deg when they are fully open, at first we positioned our control socket the wrong side, but as we had already bolted down the legs we were able to swap the top beams over easily, so a happy outcome.
We bought the 3x4 Nova pergola in white as we were placing it straight outside the french doors to our kitchen & wanted to reflect as much light back into the kitchen as possible.
We can happily say that this pergola is well designed & very sturdy.

We are all ready for the summer now & it looks fab.

Our only problem, is that we will have to buy a new patio set, as the one we have looks old & tired now under our smart new pergola. :)

I’m very pleased with my pergola, although not erected as yet as need to do some garden ground work prep! However I checked the boxes and all looks fine. Ian from Blakesley’s was very helpful with questions I had beforehand and answered my emails extremely quickly.
