Submitted a report regarding a legal issue involving a domain hosted by BlackHOST. Recieved such quick and compassionate response from the customer service via their WhatsApp contact, and was directed to their legal/abuse email. Found a resolution to my issue in only 2 hours with updates provided as well from both the legal and customer service teams! I'm beyond pleased with how quickly and professionally handled the issue. Thank you BlackHOST!

I wish there's a way to give ZERO star here ! Don't know where to start, very upset with the experience from this company. Tried to host with them beginning of Feb 2025 after reading positive feedback here. Lil alone i know they're very judgemental (or should I say they're really caring with well being of end users of the internet, let's put it that way).

After a week, thought i bought "a new domain" to add into hosting along with few of my old domains. Half an hour later, out of the blue, no prior communicado, my cpanel down, and got email about my automated monthly billing has been cancelled. I contacted them and they said i'm doing phishing with 2 of my domains i just listed with them (one of the accused domain just been bought merely half an hour prior the accusation).

Clearly, they're very good in handling customer complaints, here was they're response to me after I tried to explain : "How you may perceive our actions is not relevant, the fact is the domains are Blacklisted by security vendors, and there simply is no compromise with illegal activities Phishing websites/domains must be cut off immediately, with zero tolerance." To me it more sounding like: we own the company, no need to talk, stab them right in the heart - end of discussion!

Awful, absolutely awful treatment on their behalf. SO i thought, ok, not a biggy, they only robbed me a month service I never use, no sweat, i will live. Then today, I got nice email from them, saying i have been invoiced for next month service. Eh what ??!!! Unbelievable! They've cancelled my payment, and want me to pay still ?

Anyhow, i'm grateful i didnt sub for a year service nor did i move my sites to them yet. I believe they have good platform, but DRACONIAN and look down attitude of them towards customer is simply not tolerable. Proceed with caution to join this company, I have subbed to more than few hosting companies and never ever been treated in such way blackhost did. On a 'bad' scale 0-10, other hosts 0-1, blackhost 10. Not recommended!

Thank you for writing back to me, much appreciate your explanations. I don't make it a habit to leave really bad feedback online, for I know bad/damaging impact it could cause to anybody/company.

However I do need to point some things that are crucial here. As all eyes can see, few of the one star you have in this review site were from people that also been accused of phishing activity, based on "your preferred reputable security vendors" reports.

Didn't ever occur to you that accusations like this can do a lot of damage to a person that has genuine intention but unfortunately, has bought a so called "bad name or TLD' for their domains? Almost all 'good' domain names and TLDs has been acquired out there, so if one would to have idea on eye catching name/s, must they slammed as a perpetrator because of 'certain' machine detectors out there has labelled them despicable ? Is there no more 'innocence until proven guilty' here ? I am all for banishing those scammers and phishing communities out there, so having been accused as one was really hurtful and forced me to say what I needed to say about your 'cold and harsh' treatment/policy. FYI, I did run my domain names on few authority sites to see if it was banned, could not find a thing (welp, you must have very sophisticated sites attached to your systems to find my domains "engaged" in such activities already, particularly my half an hour old domain name, gosh).

As to why I failed to reply to you, to say no more - I don't feel guilty, and agreeing on my domains removal will deem me guilty as charge - also I did know you can't take my money eventho invoice has been issued. It's never about the money (I NEVER asked for refund), it is more about I stand for what I believe. In a different scenario, I would have removed
my affected domains, had the approach presented professionally.

There's no point you have state of the art systems if you can't respect your customers and based your relationship on fear and suspicion - least to say : unproven ones! As for me, you have burnt the bridge.

I'm in the IPTV business for a long time.

It has been always a real struggle to find a reliable hosting provider which lives up to their promise. From my experience through the years, once I was going to generate lot of traffic various problems will arise. It's either the web hosting provider will drop support for me due to the huge traffic, or they will want to charge me extra.

I'm lucky to report that this was not the case with BlackHOST, their VPS and Dedicated servers are truly unlimited. I never received a complaint from them about the traffic volume my service is generating, and I'm generating a lot.

Also, I must add that, recently I've been experiencing some routing issues with some providers in Germany, and the support was amazing, although it took some time (which is understandable) the issue was resolved.

Recently I bought a web hosting from them, for hosting a small website that was generating lots of traffic, which made me switch it from my cloud hosting as it was generating lot of traffic. In short I've put their unmetered claim to the test, and they lived up to it.

But what made me write this review is a different story... I decided to spin up a WordPress site with them, I needed something quick up and running. On my surprise the setup I had on my older php versions didn't work so I imagined something must be wrong with the hosting. Long story short, after couple of emails Izumo undo my mistakes, and went beyond what he was supposed to fix.

It turned out some part of my old WordPress theme was not compatible with PHP 8.3, Izumo fixed the actual code and my WordPress is running on the latest PHP version... Wirklich Unglaublich.

In spring I have the need to send multiple emails to my clients when I receive new shipments.

Sending emails became pain especialy when I needed to send 3000-4000 emails per week in peak season. Many hosts blocked me trough the years, until i found BlackHOST.

Izumo was very helpful, helped me in the migration of my website and made sure that my hosting is configured properly to avoid my emails listed as spam.

Overall this is the most welcomed hosting agency that i've encountered.

I have been using BlackHOST for my VPS and web hosting needs for over six months, and I am extremely satisfied with their services. Their prices are unbeatable for the quality of servers and hosting they provide. The servers are located in secure nuclear shelters, providing peace of mind for my data security.

The support team at BlackHOST is simply amazing. I have reached out to them at all hours of the day and night, and they always respond quickly and with a helpful and friendly attitude. It's rare to find a company that treats all its customers equally, regardless of the size of their plan or the amount of money they spend, but BlackHOST does just that.

Even though I'm on the most basic web hosting plan, I still feel like a valued customer. The only downside is that the website is a bit buggy, with some buttons not working and the design could use an update, but they have assured me that they are working on improving it. Overall, I highly recommend BlackHOST to anyone in need of reliable and affordable hosting services.

Have had VPS for a few months now. Had a little wobbly start due to company apparently lacning capacity and a bit of a rude rep in their chat. Hence the last missing star.

With that said though the server has been up and running and CS rep is good at following up any issues.

When we signed with them, they told us that if they receive a complaint they have a “forwarding complain policy” to help customers to fix any issue.
After one week they suspended our site saying that “phishing activities were detected” and when you contact them asking for any proof or detail to fix the problem they will just tell you that their privacy policy does not allow you to share the complaint with you.
Sadly, their offer of “no matter what” is just marketing and they will turn you down without even giving you the opportunity to check or verify the issue.

It's extremely good - I expect to be using their servers for a few of our projects for a long time to come. Started with just a single VPS and now have a Growbig, Single and Twin core server for different sets of projects.

The knowledge base needed updating a bit a few months ago, as I found I was having to contact support with what I expect are "noob" questions - but I still needed to know.

That said, Thomas in support is awesome - and has gone above and beyond in helping me to ensure that the changes I needed to the servers are done (adding FTP, control panel, changing PHP version etc).

I had an issue with a website uploaded by a developer and it kept generating errors. Although B.H didn't have to, they helped me find the cause of the problem (a "Curl" was in the wrong place I think) - and they made the site work - as the developers support was less than helpful.

Originally I had rated this as 4 stars but the support is so unusually good, it was only fair to give 5.

For some reason TP decided to delete the original review - I am not sure why as the experience is my own, support HAS been amazing and I have not used any "naughty" language.

Perhaps they just delete reviews if people seem really pleased with service instead of just "ok" with stuff. Don't know.

Quite easily the best hosting provider I've ever been acquainted with. I've been involved with web development and design for over 20 years and have dealt with dozens of hosting companies. So many of them are slow, too expensive, or limited in their offerings. BlackHOST is affordable, incredibly fast, and they have hardly any limits on what you can do with your VPS. Support is very friendly and responsive. I am extremely happy with the service and believe I have finally found the perfect hosting provider.
