When filling out register doesn't ask about ccj you need find that hidden bit of information in the small print seeming as is such a big deal to them should clearly be asked when sighing up my 20 year old ccj I had because my detail where stolen once and used fraudulently meant I did not qualify luckily I went through the small print after and spotted that important part

I recently had my bike stolen and Bikmo staff were very quick to deal with my claim, i had some difficulty with getting my proof of lock but eventually got relevant info to prove it. Always remember to take photos of everything on purchase! All resolved and Bikmo paid out the full value of the claim. Very grateful for the service and highky recommend

Very simpe and straight forward to deal with

I had to make a claim after having had an expensive custom built bike stolen from my shed. (I have since purchased a Shed Shackle and other items from Pragmasis to improve the security of the shed.
I claimed using the online form which was fairly straightforward although there's a field which requires you to say what type of riding you were engaged in at the time; I clearly hadn't been riding but had to select a random option in order to move on to the next field.
The response from Bikmo was timely and sympathetic from Jonny who requested some additional evidence of ownership.
Within a couple of days I was notified that my claim had been approved. I was then in communication with Aaron who worked hard to try and get an exact replacement Bike built excess-free by sourcing parts and communicating with the bike builder Bikmo use.
Unfortunately this didn't work out but I was offered a reasonable cash settlement which was credited to my bank account 9 days after my initial claim.
Good communication from the professional and knowledgable Bikmo claims staff throughout.

Bikmo are responsive and helpful when called.
Their premiums seem competitive
Their payment options are too limited

Ellie and Jonny were both very helpful - quick to respond, clear in their requests for evidence, receipts etc and very polite! Best cycle insurance I have used.

Claim submitted on a Friday, settled the following Wednesday after 3 email communications to clarify a couple of things. Money in the bank on Thursday. Less than and a week to sort. Excellent service, would definitely recommend Bikmo and will continue to use them 👍

Policy cancelled on the same it was taken out received confirmation of cancellation of policy yet two weeks later direct debit still deducted tried to contact these cowboys and no response
Pathetic company, disgusting customer service and taking direct debits even though policy was never live and then ignoring my requests
Amateur Cowboys at Best deception and fraudulent at worst

Be warned

My bike got stolen and i filed a claim. Bikmo gave prompt response to my queries and emails and approved my claim within 4 working days. They are good and reliable. I got almost all the money in claim (including bike and the accessories). Kudos to Bikmo team

Had my bike stolen recently and Bikmo went above and beyond to soften the blow. The claiming process was straight forward and had the issue settled within a few days.
One thing to note, when taking out insurance with Bikmo, the policy states a few "must-do's" in order to have a successful claim should something go wrong. Follow the policy as stated by Bikmo Insurance and you will have no issues.

So far I have very good experience with Bikmo. Takes a while for them to investigate a case and prove your claim, but they're fair. Customer service is excellent, very professional and pleasant to talk to them.

The Bikmo team are first class! I had to make a claim for my son’s cracked MTB frame which was not repairable (he was very sad!) and everyone from the first contact to the last was so helpful, knowledgable and understood how important sorting this issue out was for my son. The payment was sorted super quickly once the decision was made and we are now getting a new bike build as I type.
I cannot recommend anyone more highly to trust with your bikes!
