I had an excellent experience working with my rep who was Justin Oliver. I recently needed insurance coverage for a contract opportunity that came with very specific requirements. When I first reached out, I had the information provided to me but wasn’t completely sure how to explain exactly what was needed. I simply shared the requirements I had received, and Justin immediately understood what was being requested.

He quickly provided a quote and helped ensure that the necessary coverages were addressed. After I sent him the full insurance requirement packet, he carefully reviewed everything in detail and made sure all requested items were handled properly.

I needed a workmans comp policy for one employee at my family group home and was having issues getting agents from other entities to follow what I was needing. Many kept trying to use wrong code, others told me that they couldn’t cover my employee without me. Joanna immediately knew what I was asking, helped me ensure I got the right code for coverage and had me enrolled in a policy in just a few moments. She also wasn’t pushy after informing me of all my options. Immediately sold.

Haylee was a HUGE help, as it was my first time purchasing business insurance and I was very confused prior to speaking with her. She took her time to explain everything, told me multiple options, including money saving options, and even engaged with me while the system was processing so there wouldn't be an awkward silence. 🙏🏾🙏🏾

I purchased approximately $330,000 worth of insurance coverage from BiBerk and answered every question honestly when I signed up. My premiums increased year after year, but I continued paying because I believed that if disaster struck, my insurance company would be there for me.

After a severe storm damaged my business, I filed a claim for approximately $70,000. More than 250 days later, I still have not received a single dollar.

Instead of helping us recover, BiBerk has questioned my lease agreement, repeatedly contacted and stressed my wife, and forced me to hire a public adjuster just to try to move the claim forward. What should have been a straightforward claims process has become an exhausting ordeal.

The day after the storm, I told my neighbors that I had the best insurance because at least I was covered. I was even interviewed by Fox News and expressed how fortunate I felt to have insurance when some others affected had none. Unfortunately, that confidence turned out to be misplaced.

BiBerk's advertisements emphasize competitive rates and the ability to get insured in minutes. My experience has been that buying the policy was easy, but getting assistance when I actually needed to use it has been incredibly frustrating.

This is my personal experience. If you're considering BiBerk, I encourage you to research not only the price of the policy but also how claims are handled when policyholders need help the most.

It is dated June 23 2926 It is now Aug 16 and No one reaches out, it is there reply to all bad revews, Ans i would bet they never reach out to any, I am preparing to make a small documentary of dealing with claims on Biberk if they do not reach out!

Matt was great to work with. Professional, responsive, and delivered exactly what he promised. I highly recommend him and appreciate the excellent service.

Biberk lies about its yearly premium. It was $1571 I been paying with automatic payments had less than $600 balance left and then the 6th month they added over $1345 to the yearly premium some sort of endorsement fee without notice. I call to get it corrected to no avail so I canceled it. They send me a final bill that is due well over the remaining balance I had before they added the *endorsement* fee. They not once replied to my phone calls or emails regarding this matter. I then get a letter from collections and they didnt want to listen either, and now im getting a legal letter from Leviton Law Firm, Ltd.

Update:6/23/2026 Biberk replies to this review but clearly they left no contact information to actually get this resolved. Do they want to keep wasting my time contacting the same contact information I already have been trying for months?

JoAnna was helpful, verified information she could se eon her side as I talked. She was polite and fast. After helping me, she asked kindly if I would take in this survey which I gladly accepted because she did a wonderful job.

Listened to what I needed and was quick to get back to me. Great pricing.

Bait and switch.

Do not rely on the rates quoted online. After issuing my policy, BiBerk conducted an "audit" and assigned risk classifications that did not apply to my business. The result was a substantial premium increase that made the coverage unaffordable.

Despite multiple attempts to explain the nature of my business, the premium remained dramatically higher than the rate originally quoted. Even worse, BiBerk applied the increase retroactively and billed me for premiums that were never disclosed when I purchased the policy.

When I disputed the charges and refused to pay what I believed were improper retroactive premiums, BiBerk turned the matter over to a law firm for collection.

To put the matter behind me, I ultimately paid the disputed balance, canceled the policy, and moved my coverage to another carrier.

I am extremely disappointed. BiBerk markets itself as part of the Berkshire Hathaway family, which carries an expectation of integrity and transparency. My experience was the opposite. The premium I ended up being charged bore little resemblance to the price that was used to attract my business in the first place.

I will never do business with BiBerk again, nor would I recommend them to other financial professionals seeking E&O coverage.

Their “replies” to complaints offer no resolution. Pathetic.

Worse insurance company, at the beginning they give you a low rate and right after you activate the policy they bumped the price additional 50% , I have my policy on march 2026 for 9k and now they increase it to &13600

BiBerk seems great, representatives are reaponsive and helpful, until they get your money... Once you have paid, expect bait and switch tactics, rude customer service, extremely long wait times for documents, and incessant 'investigations' by underwriters. They will modify your policy and increase your premiums without notice. I spent hours on the phone and sent a dozen emails requesting documentation. After two weeks of waiting and pleading for help, an insurance agent threatened to "drop your policy" for expressing my frustration. I recommend you find insurance coverage through other providers. BiBerk is by far the worst
