On principle I have sent the poor quality shoes which weren’t leather and not as described back via UPS and tracked them - they still haven’t been refunded

Bennet & Mason, sounds like a very British company. I think it is a Very Chinese company. Quality advertising but not quality products. I have purchased from this company, very BAD product. I would not purchase from this company.

I fell for it!! Now having to dispute with back as they are refusing to provide a full refund and incurring customs costs.

What a fool I am. Should have read the reviews before ordering. The “leather” shoes that i ordered arrived - from a UK address - in a week. They were too small, even though purportedly my size and the “leather” was anything but! I immediately asked to return them but was offered a larger size and keep the originals for 8.95. Shows how much they cost to make! I refused and said I wanted a full refund and was told that as per Ts and Cs, I had to return to China, even though they state that they’re a British company. This would cost more than the original price and isn’t guaranteed to get there. Another Chinese scam. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

As other reviewers have discovered this is a scam and part of a much wider operation. I’m annoyed I fell for it. I received my shoes but they are counterfeit cheap mass produced plastic. Returns process is designed to ensure none get returned or refunded. Have to send back to China. Threat that they will get delayed in Customs and attract import duties. No returns address provided.
Luckily I paid by PayPal and only when I got PayPal involved did I get a partial refund. PayPal said they would investigate as well. Bennetandmason.co.uk is likely part of a larger interconnected scam network based in China. This network operates countless fake online retail sites with the sole intent of defrauding customers. Such retail sites were featured on BBC watchdog on Thursday One Show this week. Once they get enough bad reviews they will simply ‘rebrand’ and start all over again duping another wave of customers.
Avoid at all costs.

Simply move on and don't bother buying anything off these people whom ever they are. My shoes did arrive but poor quality and don't fit. If they were free I wouldn't want them.

Shoes eventually arrived from China. They are NOT leather. This is not a UK based company. There is no shop front as suggested. AI generated sales pictures. Closing down sales going on and on and on! After the event I don't believe a single word of their advertising and I'm annoyed that I was sucked in. Buyer beware!

Scam. Netherlands-based company masquerading as an old English firm closing down. Website was set up in Jan 2025.

It's a scam using AI generated imagery and a fake sob story with a "final sale" that's always a day away from ending to add urgency to your purchase.
