The Bear Garden opened in 1992 in Guildford and is one of the UK's leading specialist teddy bear and soft toy shops. We are one of the UK’s top stockists for world famous German manufacturer, Steiff. We also stock creations from all the major manufacturers (for example: Jellycat, Charlie Bears, Merrythought, Teddy Hermann and Kosen), and beautiful work from leading teddy bear artists.
The Bear Garden started selling online in 1999. The website is a trusted source for teddy bear lovers from around the world.
We are proud of, and have been recognized many times for, the quality of our service. We aim to make our customers as happy as possible!
Finally, we run our business in an ethical fashion. We use a green electricity supplier, are diligent recyclers and try to make decisions based on the impact on the world around us. Our chosen charity is War Child.

The Bear Garden Guarantee
We aim to send orders within 24 hours of receipt whenever possible. Items are sent securely packed and clearly labelled, so they arrive safely.
We like our customers to be happy!
So, if when you receive your parcel you are not happy with the contents, you will be refunded on return of the item(s). This does not affect your statutory rights. The Bear Garden guarantees that all items offered for sale are in perfect condition. We include boxes, bags and certificates where provided by the manufacturer.
Returns
If you are dissatisfied in any way with your purchase, then you can return it to us within 14 days of receipt for a refund. We do ask, however, that you contact us before returning any item. Returns must be sent back with any original boxes, packing and certificates.
Refunds are less any original postage costs incurred by The Bear Garden. We do reserve the right not to refund the full cost where items are returned damaged or missing.

What a fabulous shop and service.
I ordered rather late for Christmas but true to their word, the parcel arrived the next day. The items were beautifully packed and absolutely perfect and delightful

Friendly and speedy service
Easy to use website with extensive range of teddy bears and other stuffed toys. Speedy dispatch and delivery with great communication on status. Friendly and helpful service over the phone. Also worth visiting their shop in Guildford for inspiration.

Special Delivery customer service I received was…
The customer service I received was absolutely amazing. I ordered my bear ( Fynn ) on the 15th Dec around 4pm. Later that day I received confirmation of my order. Fynn was delivered by Royal Mail on the 16th Dec at 1 pm in perfect condition. There was an invoice in the parcel telling me who packed my order and a little sticker wishing me a Merry Christmas ( nice touch) The whole process from ordering to delivery took less than 24 hours. Well done to you all. Would definitely give The Bear Garden a BIG 10/10. All the very best.
