This dealership used to be called Runley Motors Ltd.

They sold me a dodgy Clio. Took it back when the exhaust sounded like a machine gun and my local mechanic told me the emissions were off the chart. It was 2nd hand catalytic converter which was causing the issues.

The dealership said they’d fix it and had the car for 2 weeks. A week later, the engine light came back on my car and was so near inoperable, with the 2nd guy in charge asking how I even drove the car. This time they had the car for 2 months. They said they fixed it. Not trusting them, I took the car to my local mechanic who confirmed my suspicions.

As the car was on finance, I was able to get a complete refund, despite the dealership fighting the finance broker (CarFinance247) all the way and CarFinance247 ended cutting ties with the dealership. Which explains the change in dealership name.

I don’t care if technically it’s a new company, they’ve changed the dealership name & logo and nothing more. Same place, same dodgy cars and same people working there.

Also since the owner is the biggest a******e in the world, I will do everything in my power to stop people from buying from this dealership and make the same mistakes I made.

This company have no regard for the law. The day after I bought the car I realised the air con didn’t work, the stop/start wasn’t working and the warning lights came on the dashboard after driving a few miles due to tracking issues as a result of a poor quality repair of the suspension performed by the garage that also carried out the MOT on behalf of Beadlow Motors. I phoned them and they said what do you expect it’s a second hand car. 13 days after I purchased my car - it would no longer start. They told me to get it fixed and they’d pay - all good I thought. I can’t be without a car for work and couldn’t get a local garage to quote and fix quickly, eventually, after numerous conversations Beadlow Motors said to bring it to their garage - problematic when it doesn’t start and they refused to pay recovery costs. I called ‘his’ garage and they had no knowledge of him. So under consumer rights act I said i had no other option, I wanted a refund as the car was not fit for purpose and not of satisfactory quality. He laughed down the phone, outright refusing a refund and said to take him to court, it would take 6-12 months to get any money out of them. I nearly forgot - he then refused to talk to me any further and would only talk to my husband! After much intervention from my husband, the garage finally agreed to pay a percentage of the repair fee and we have been left several hundreds of pounds out of pocket.

We bought from Beadlow Motors thinking that with their AA approved used car status we would be in safe hands. However, our experience has highlighted their disregard of the AA car dealership standards they have signed up to. It meant nothing!

My advice would be to avoid Beadlow Motors but if you do choose to buy through them - use your credit card to pay the deposit at the very least (we stupidly paid by bank transfer as they told us they have to pay fees for credit card transactions - don’t get suckered by them), at least you can then get your money back under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act when things go wrong.

This company are not honest. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY. Recently bought a Jaguar XF from this place. Strong smell of diesel when the engine fired up. Oh its just I used the car to go get some fuel for one of the other cars. Drive car home and exhaust fumes entering the cabin. Reported it and they said we will pay for repairs. Had car diagnosed catalytic converter needs replaced and exhaust fumes and carbon monoxide are entering the cabin through the air vents. Luckily I didnt pass out driving it the 62 miles home. MoT is also dodgy cut in the front tyre and broken rear coil spring yet Runley Motors passed it with no advisories. Its all been reported to the DVSA. I have asked for a refund which they have agreed but state they will refund within 14 days. The cost of the repair needed is 1837 quid plus VAT. Do not use this business. Quick sale and no after care or thought for their customers. I have reported to the AA. They want me to recover the vehicle for the refund at my own expense after already being out the money to have it diagnosed. I am not even sure the refund would arrive and they would have the car and my money. Disgraceful dishonest business. Been reported to Trading Standards and DVSA. Hopefully when the car is inspected by the government agency, the appropriate remedy will be coming. Bedfordshire Police will also be getting notified I could have been poisoned on way home with carbon monoxide. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Don't bother with part exchanges here they will offer you a stupid low offer, try and convince you that the car is only scrap and that is what they will do. They will then post an add for your same next day! Don't fall for their tricks
