Absolutely awful i followed the…
Absolutely awful i followed the instructions on their actual website and the video stated 1min 40 secs to mix the alginate and then put your hand in. The alginate went white after 40 secs and was very very clumpy. They need to change their videos and actually be honest. When i contacted customer service they were rude and stated people only buy off their website if they are a business and questioned why i bought something in particular off them and not the actual casting kit. Sorry but that has nothing to do with you what i bought. I WILL NOT be buying again. I warned 2 other people to not buy as they wanted it for their children. Awful

Dear Amma, to state we were rude in our reply is a lie and if you took the time to properly read our reply, we certainly did NOT state only businesses buy from us and we were happy to assist. You bought casting materials (too much) - rather than purchasing one of our ready made kits with everything you need, including comprehensive instructions, that are specifically tailored for hand casting, to make a hand cast. So with the casting materials only, you made a mistake in the impression mould process. We were expecting a reply from you in response to our message, so we could advise further on the kit you need with hand casting instructions - but instead, you have sadly chosen to spend your time repeatedly leaving the same review on any review platform that you can find... Oh well, we guess you feel much better with yourself now! :)
I’d rate more than 5 stars if I could!!
I love BabyRice and their products. I have ordered a few times, once from eBay and the rest from the BabyRice website.
I have done 2 foot casts so far of my 2 year old daughter. It says for the basic casting kit you get around 2-3 for a 2 year old and around 6 for a new born.
We still have loads of alginate and plaster left so I reckon we may even have enough for another 2-3!! (my 2 year old is very petite!) it’s only £14+ for the basic kit and I LOVE it!! I have recommended BabyRice to all of my friends and family.
You even get the handy pots of paint too, again, which I still had LOADS left of too. The only thing I didn’t like was the paint brushes supplied. I had to keep picking off hairs while painting so I use an old make up brush instead.
Other than that tiny thing, I’d highly recommend BabyRice.
I love my casts and can’t wait to order more for the family! Thanks BabyRice!

Making hand and foot casts are a lovely way of capturing a moment in time when your daughter is young. Sounds like you have plenty of casting materials to create your daughter's 3d hand casts next!

Ordered a large casting kit from Amazon, however I believe going through eBay or direct is cheaper.
The kit states 12 newborn casts are achievable however we managed 4. Getting the right sized tubs and reducing waste is key.
Also ordered the frame and engraved name tag through them. The packaging and the finish was great. For 2 newborn casts 7x7” and below is enough with a 4.6cm depth.
Only wished their YouTube video was more in-depth and showed a start to finish process including the casting to assembly of the frame. A simulator on the website would be great which shows the colours of the frame selected in real-time.
Overall half price compared to getting it done professionally, would recommend.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review :) Some of our products on Amazon can indeed be a little more costly, but this is due to extra commission to be paid and a next day delivery cost for Prime customers.
What a great idea, we will certainly add a video to our BabyRice Youtube channel to show how easy it is to glue baby hand and foot casts to the backing card, add their cute photo and assemble the shadow box display frame. We would love to add a simulator to our website of the frame finishes and will add that idea to our list!
