Solid local renting company
This was the first time we rented via Autovia, and we were not disappointed. The car was better than we had expected (a BYD instead of a Ford Kuga), the sevice was efficient and fast.
Would recommend it.
Our pickup was in Pisa, our drop-off was in Venice.

Cobro abusivo de 857€ por una pequeña marca en luna. Autovía Italia (Florencia - Pisa)
Alquilé con AutoVia un MG ZS matrícula GX332YR del 24/07/2025 al 31/07/2025. Recogida en aeropuerto de Florencia y devolución en aeropuerto de Pisa.
Nº reserva: 202501520719.
Durante el viaje una pequeña piedra impactó en la luna delantera dejando una marca de apenas 2mm de diámetro, reparable con resina por 50-60€.
Al devolver el coche, AutoVia me cobró 857€ por "sustitución completa de la luna" aplicando la franquicia máxima. No me ofrecieron opción de reparar, no me han enviado factura detallada del taller ni fotos del antes/después a pesar de haberla solicitado por email.
La franquicia del contrato era de 1800€ y da la sensación de que usan cualquier pequeño daño para cobrar el máximo posible.
No recomiendo AutoVia en Italia si no contratas su seguro sin franquicia.
Mejor pagar más por una compañía seria como Hertz o Sixt que llevarte estos sustos.

Nos gustaría aclarar que, según las condiciones de alquiler, los daños en los cristales no están incluidos en las limitaciones estándar de responsabilidad y se gestionan mediante criterios específicos de evaluación. Los importes no están necesariamente vinculados a una reparación concreta, sino que pueden calcularse a través de tablas de daños o peritaciones técnicas basadas en los costes medios de reparación y en los gastos asociados a la gestión del siniestro.
No obstante, entendemos la importancia de contar con total claridad: por ello, nuestro equipo queda a su disposición para proporcionar toda la documentación disponible relacionada con la evaluación del daño, como informes técnicos o material fotográfico, garantizando la máxima transparencia posible.
Su comentario es muy valioso para nosotros y será compartido internamente con el objetivo de seguir mejorando nuestros procesos y la comunicación con nuestros clientes.

There was nobody at the desk when I arrived to pick up the car. They had left a phone number where one should call. When I called, nobody answered. Only some minutes later my 2nd call was answered. Then someone showed up immediately and everything went very smooth.

Do not trust them when returning!
Do NOT return your car after business hours! Do NOT trust them!
Do not leave the car in their parking area without a proper inspection. Don’t make the same costly mistake I did (€350).
I have full photo and video documentation and I am willing to describe the case in detail. The matter has also been reported to the appropriate authorities.
I returned the car at 4:00 AM because I had a flight at 5:00 AM. I used the key drop box. Before returning the vehicle, I carefully checked it and recorded a video showing its condition.
I parked the car at the Pisa Autovia parking area, right next to their office. For those who haven’t been there — it is not a place where random people can walk around freely. I intentionally left the car in a spot where no one needed to park next to it or even pass close by.
At 8:10 AM, shortly after the office opened, I received a damage report stating that a scratch had appeared under the driver-side mirror. This scratch is NOT visible in my video recorded at 4:00 AM.
Based on the photos provided by the rental company, the damage looks like it was made deliberately with a sharp object.
Who caused it? I don’t know — but I have my suspicions.
What was the outcome? The rental company claimed I was responsible for the vehicle between 4:00 AM and 8:00 AM, even though it was already parked on their premises. They charged me €350.
If you return the car during business hours, make sure a staff member inspects the vehicle with you and prepares a return report in your presence.
Is this a scam? Draw your own conclusions.

NON restituite l’auto fuori dall’orario di apertura! NON fidatevi!
Non lasciate l’auto nel loro parcheggio senza un controllo adeguato. Non fate lo stesso errore costoso che ho fatto io (350€).
Dispongo di documentazione fotografica e video completa e sono disponibile a descrivere il caso nei dettagli. La questione è stata segnalata anche alle autorità competenti.
Ho restituito l’auto alle 4:00 del mattino perché avevo un volo alle 5:00. Ho utilizzato la cassetta per la restituzione delle chiavi. Prima di lasciare il veicolo, l’ho controllato attentamente e ho registrato un video che ne mostra lo stato.
Ho parcheggiato l’auto nel parcheggio Pisa Autovia, proprio accanto al loro ufficio. Per chi non è mai stato lì: non è un luogo dove possano circolare liberamente persone estranee. Ho lasciato l’auto in una posizione tale che nessuno dovesse parcheggiare accanto o passare vicino.
Alle 8:10, poco dopo l’apertura dell’ufficio, ho ricevuto un rapporto di danno in cui si segnalava un graffio sotto lo specchietto lato guida. Questo graffio NON è presente nel mio video registrato alle 4:00.
Dalle foto fornite dalla società di noleggio sembra che il danno sia stato fatto intenzionalmente con un oggetto appuntito.
Chi lo ha causato? Non lo so, ma ho dei sospetti.
Com’è finita? La società ha dichiarato che ero responsabile del veicolo tra le 4:00 e le 8:00, anche se l’auto si trovava già nel loro parcheggio. Mi hanno addebitato 350€.
Se restituite l’auto durante l’orario di apertura, assicuratevi che un dipendente controlli il veicolo insieme a voi e rediga un verbale di riconsegna in vostra presenza.
È una truffa? Fate le vostre valutazioni.

Fraudelent behavior
Drop off the car in Pisa airport today , the person at the drop off was only interest in making more money with false Accusations of scratches and dents, I was told by the person that if I did not approve a dent he would find more. I have taken pictures of the car and can document that the car is damage free, the person would not give his ID , fraudulent behavior, do not use this company.

Al check-in provano a farti sottoscrivere una polizza aggiuntiva paventando catastrofi irrisarcibili. Nonostante i danni presenti sembra siano dettagliati, scopri che l'auto da noleggiare si trova in fondo al piazzale in una zona non illuminata dove difficilmente potrebbero essere rilevati ulteriori danni. Alla riconsegna ecco che saltano fuori danni riconducibili ai precedenti noleggi. Da notare che nonostante l'apertura dei sinistri con la compagnia assicuratrice, i veicoli non vengono fatti riparare.

ci dispiace leggere la sua recensione e che l’esperienza di noleggio non abbia soddisfatto le sue aspettative. Comprendiamo quanto possa essere frustrante avere la percezione di una gestione poco chiara durante le fasi di ritiro e riconsegna del veicolo.
Desideriamo precisare che gli eventuali pacchetti di copertura aggiuntivi vengono proposti ai clienti come opzione facoltativa, con l’obiettivo di offrire una maggiore serenità durante il noleggio. La loro sottoscrizione resta sempre una scelta libera del cliente.
Per quanto riguarda invece la verifica dei danni sul veicolo, le procedure prevedono che lo stato dell’auto venga registrato nella scheda danni al momento della consegna e controllato nuovamente alla riconsegna, così da garantire la massima trasparenza per entrambe le parti. In caso di anomalie o segnalazioni, vengono sempre effettuate verifiche interne secondo le procedure previste.
