Crap spray paint, colour match very bad and unable to optain a smooth finish as paint bubbles leaving a rough finnish

Edit / update. Initially the wrong colour was sent in error. I had some difficulty getting a reply to my complaint but eventually it was resolved and the correct colour arrived. The business trades under various names such as Scooby Paints, Gift Plaques UK Ltd, CarTouchUpSprayPaint, Autocarpaintuk

Great service as usual. The wrong colour touch-up paint was sent initially, but Dylan was great in sorting it out and sent the correct colour straight away. Customer service is excellent, thank you. Will use again.

This is the fourth time I've ordered. The paint is easy to use and matched very well.

The first time I ordered the colour didn't seem quite right. I sent a picture in and I received another pot for free that matched perfectly. The next three orders were a very good match

My problem with Autocolourdirect (also known as Scooby's Paints, among other trading names) started with an order for an aerosol can of Ford Rangoon Red body paint way back in Feb this year. The paint was seemingly not compatible with the propellant -- coming out in globules. Dylan agreed to replace the can FoC and -- long story short -- I gave him card details to pay for two additional cans. Since then his phone(s) go unanswered or are unrecognised and emails are ignored. So, we have no paint and ebay cannot help because of the time I have given Dylan to

Great company. Had an issue with the paint touch-up colour when it arrived & Dylan was great in working out it was a labelling error. Excellent customer service. Will definitely use again. Thank you!

Be very careful of this site. I ordered what I was lead to believe an aerosol can of paint. The picture showed a aerosol can and the description says aerosol but at the bottom in very small letters says 10ml paint kit. Which is basically a teaspoon full. Can't imagine it would be worth the trouble mixing so little. Please read these adverts carefully easally deceiving.

I would give 4.5 stars if I could. The one quibble was - on day one, I used the paint, everything was fine. I used it again the next day but this time when I took the cap off, the brush stayed in the paint. (I see now someone left a comment five days before this one with a tip to avoid this problem.) Against that, the price was so much cheaper than the other offers I saw I wondered if it was a scam, but, several days after using it, everything seems fine. Delivery was very quick. (The colour matched perfectly as far as I could tell, but then I would expect that.)
The trading name the company used on the internet was "Scooby's paints".

After a mixup with the colour I emailed scubys paints and got a reply within hours from a gentleman called Dylan, after explaining the problem Dylan sent me a new touch up paint which was perfect 👍 it's nice to know in this day and age there are still company's out there who are very customer friendly and ate do helpful honest and reliable. Thankyou Dylan your a star.

Excellent service, quick delivery, good colour match and fair value

Excellent result on first test
A small scar on offside front wing
Gently rubbed the raised bits off
Then used the paint as supplied after vigour shaking of bottle and used the supplied sort of felt/cotton bud type pencil
Went back after say 5 minutes and honestly I couldn't see where the scar was
Absolutely pleased with product
Well done
Hope the same will apply when I touch up the other car

Another Update 20.05.25, Still No Response, finding it very hard to believe, no one has come back to me, in all this time, Horrendous Customer Service.
Another update 09.05.25, Still NO Response, if they need my £30 that much, then they must be hard up, Ive worked in Customer Service Industry for 30+years, and I have NEVER treated a Customer the way they have treated me, they should be ashamed of themselves!!!
Latest update, still NO reply, response, nothing, I just like to remind everyone, that when I sent part of the order back, by registered post, I check Royal Mail , and was signed for, so no saying they did not receive it, I also included< i think about 15 pages of e-mail of me, trying to cancel, the order, including a letter, explaining the situation, or in the end, just to get a response, so my e-mail address was included, but still not response, not even to my REVIEW, this is the 3rd update , I think!!
Very disappointed to be honest? I ordered some paint, but tried to cancel my order, in less than 20minutes? I e-mailed them 15+ times in the coming days, but did not receive any reply, I have tried calling them, but the number never works? My order was broken down in 2 parts, from their side, I only received one part of order, anyway I waited a few days, for the 2nd part of order, but nothing ever arrived, so I sent the item back, recorded delivery, I have receipt, again I have e-mail asking for my refund, and tried calling again, but have got nowhere, very frustrating, would not use personally.
I have e-mailed nearly every day, asking for my refund, and I have not received ONE REPLY, scammers for me
