We have had the most amazing trip to India planned, organised and booked by Authentic India Tours (AIT).
AIT planned the whole trip exclusively for the 2 of us where we were away for a month in November 2023.
AIT worked with us to agree an itinerary; their knowledge of this vast country was amazing and the organisation was exemplary.
We travelled from the far North of India, to the Himalayas then to the south coast with a mid-way Tiger Safari; too much activity for us to note here.
Our trip from the UK involved 6 flights, 2 train journeys, 3 safaris, 10 hotels and much car travel.
The all the hotels were all well chosen and full of character.
At every stage of our trip an AIT representative, guide and driver met us exactly on time and took care of everything needed to progress our trip.
AIT was frequently in touch with us throughout the holiday to check all was going to plan which gave us considerable confidence .
If anybody is contemplating a trip to this wonderful country they should include AIT in their planning, we have no hesitation in recommending them.

What an amazing holiday. From start to finish the staff at AIT were extremely helpfully, very accommodating, putting together a totally bespoke holiday that centred around what we wanted from our trip to Kerala. We met the people, ate the food, and experienced so much culture. The hotels we were booked into were fabulous, the tour guides were amazing (Munnar and Cochin), and our personal driver, Anoj, was friendly, polite and extremely knowledgeable, taking us places we were not expecting. We had an amazing experience, would highly recommend, and book again.

This was a great holiday. Very well organised. The accomodation was excellent. Our driver was brilliant. Very friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. The guides that showed us around were also very good. We were helped from the beginning when we booked. Also someone from the office kept in touch with us during the holiday. A very well organised tour to Kolkata and the foothills of the East Himalayas. Authentic India Tours gave us a bespoke itinerary to meet our needs with excellent hotels. Good guides good drivers, and everyone and everything went to plan.

From start to finish the level of service and attention to detail were second to none, our personal driver was very
attentive and informative and the local guides were superb.The itinary was well put together and all our accomodation was excellent.

We chose a bespoke tour for just the two of us and were fortunate to have Mathew, our fantastic driver.
Vimal had listened to our wishes and curated a wonderful trip which included the highlights of Kerala. Having a houseboat to ourselves and dining on wonderful food was a memorable privilege and on route to Cochin, Nimmy gave a fantastic cookery demonstration and we ate the most delicious lunch in the garden. We loved wandering round the vegetable market in Munnar and seeing the tea plantations.

If you want a holiday that surprises and teaches you everyday this is the holiday for you. The company are brilliant- from initial email exploring the idea of a dream holiday, through phone call exploring my interests to support whilst away the staff were always available and supportive. They designed my holiday around one of their tours. They gave me great advice at each step re visa / dress code etc. flights were booked well in advance. I was met at every destination and travelled by plane train and car. Accommodation was mainly in heritage hotels which are a wonderful experience ( don’t expect late night parties or relaxing beach holiday). Food was fabulous. My driver brilliant and never late. There was so much new I tried. Go with an open mind and trust this company to build your personal holiday and provide the personal touch all the way through your trip.

Superb service from start to finish for the trip of a life time!!

Vimal and the team were extremely knowledgeable and flexible organising a bespoke trip in India. We started off in Kochi, explored Kerala, flew to Chennai and finished up in the amazing Andaman Islands. Too many highlights to pick a favourite but the private boat trip in Alleppey is not to be missed.

A truly unforgettable holiday; it’s hard to pick the ‘best’ part.
