They show up and say they want to DOUBLE the quote because of the "condition" of the place, and they will leave if I don't agree.
I had no time to arrange an alternative so I "agreed" to it.
They spent LESS time than the quoted "8 hours minimum" despite being paid double the quote!
The job was woefully incomplete so I also paid MORE again from my bond for someone else to finish the job.

Do not use this company. I had booked for an 8.30am clean, the cleaners didn’t show and called me at 9am to say they were in a different city hours away and are cancelling. Completely unprofessional and time wasters, now I am left with no bond clean at the end of lease.

I had booked a spring clean for my parents and P was WONDERFUL. She did an incredibly thorough job. She was very respectful and constantly checked in with me if it was ok to lift or move items to better clean the area. She was understanding of their situation (both recently in hospital) and gave me some suggestions for the next services I was looking to book.
I had used Austral twice previously in 2019 & 2020 for deep clean jobs at our old property, was happy to give them another go in 2024.
The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is because I very clearly communicated the size of the job in the initial form and on follow up (and suggested a crew of 2-4 cleaners) and they only sent P. She stayed as long as she could, but I had to drop a few things from my list just because there was too much work for one person to do in that time.
Would still recommend, just the communication issues between booking platform/company and the actual cleaners.

We contracted a cleaner through Austral to do an end of lease clean. Sajan did a fantastic job of cleaning the unit. Every square inch of the place was cleaned, all cupboards and drawers, all windows and tracks, bathroom etc. Even swept out the garage. Cant rate the job highly enough and I have had others before that were not as meticulous. Well done.

I booked end of lease cleaning for our three-bedroom townhouse in Sydney. After a quick exchange of information, I paid the invoice of $399 to the contact at Austral Cleaning, whose name was Johnson. What I have to hold in favour of the guys is that they showed up in time at the day. The head of the three had a quick look at the property with me and confirmed that the amount of work would be covered by the $399. Insofar, so good and I thought I had peace of mind that the three guys would bring the property into a condition that would be sufficient to be handed over to the real estate agent. The awakening came the day after when the handover was scheduled. Walking through the property, the list of items that hadn't been sufficiently cleaned got longer and longer. We're not talking about special cleaning requests here, but straightforward stuff like greasy dust on top of kitchen cupboards, slat blinds dusty, floors dirty behind toilet bowls, lint in dryer filter, oven still greasy and so on. Based on their bond back guarantee I tried to get the cleaning team back in as quickly as possible, but they told me that unfortunately they were busy doing other jobs and perhaps later the week this might be possible. My requests for rectifying these deficiencies to the contact from Austral Cleaning, Johnson, were completely ignored from his side. Since the owners wanted to move into the property as quickly as possible, I had to fix the issues by myself. So, what do you get for $399? They did at least some cleaning. However, what they do is absolutely not sufficient to get your bond back without additional work. This renders the end of lease cleaning from Austral Cleaning useless, since you only book it to get the task out of your hand and accomplished without further hassle. Therefore: No recommendation, due to poor quality of work and poor customer experience.

Booked a Friday clean. Was messaged Wednesday asking to confirm the following days clean when I said no it’s Friday he said no I have it written here so I had to send him a screenshot of my confirmation email he then asked if I wanted him to come that day anyway. Should have run then and there. He clearly double booked and was just trying to move me forward a day but won’t admit that.
9am he was suppose to show up. Rings at 9.30am and says he won’t be able to make it until 1.30pm. Doesn’t arrive until 4.30pm. Quote is for $400 for 8 hrs. Rings me and says it’s going to cost $800. He says there is dents in a few of the walls and he isn’t maintenance he is a cleaner. I said I don’t want you to fix the dents in the walls I just want you to wipe them down. He says the oven door doesn’t open all the way. He can’t clean the blinds that’s a seperate service. I said I don’t want you to clean the blinds just mop, wipe out cupboards, wipe down walls. I got my partner to call him as I was getting frustrated at the argumentative nature of the conversation. My partner gets heated and calls him a name and he says to my partner if you speak to me like that I promise you it’s not going to end well for you. My partner tells him we don’t want your service just leave the house forget about it we will get someone else. When we arrive home both front doors are wide open there is chewing gum shoved into the keyhole in the fly screen and in an upstairs bedroom.. SCAM of a company. The boss doesn’t want to know about it and he is just completely lying about the events that took place

Save you money go elsewhere.
They didn't do a end of lease clean. I've never walked into an end of lease clean where it was so dirty. Had to point out all of the missed spots in all of the rooms. Disgusting that this company still exists. They outsource, they don't even do the clean to a reasonable clean. Dust and dirt the layers of chemicals to try and clean just made the already reasonable clean house dirtier and I didn't know that was possible!

Felt like a scam. $375 later and I still had to show them how to clean ....

Booked in a clean for Monday 3rd Oct for 9am. The cleaners Sangita and her partner were 5 hours late. It was a basic clean 2 bed 2 bath apartment no carpets. Sangita tried to extract an extra $150 from me saying the bins were not clean and the oven was dirty. Even though these things were included in the quote. However both were just needing a basic clean and wash. It is very obvious that this company gives a quote with full intention of attempting to extort extra money when they arrive. I gladly showed them the door.

We booked their end-of-lease cleaning service two weeks prior the date. They didn't come. They didn't call to warn. We spent 3 hours to call them to know what's up. Finally, they just said that nobody going to come. Sorry. The worst service ever.

I've used a lot of house cleaning services over the years, but I have to say that they is by far my favorite. They are reliable, friendly, and professional. They do such a great job of cleaning my home that it feels like I'm coming home to a new place every time they're done!

Charged double the estimate, was rude when asked to return, second clean wasn’t sufficient either - full bond deposit was not returned! Do not use these cleaners.

Really terrible service and experience with them. We got them for a bond cleaning, they arrived late and finished too soon. The service guy Johnson gives you a low estimate but on arrival they ask for the double, and because we were pressured with time we agreed to proceed. On checking after they finished, they used dirty cloths and hosed everywhere. The lady cleaner was very rude too and the guy Johnson who states is the owner never listens to the complaint and offer no solutions. Totally unprofessional service and waste of time and money, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone

There is something fishy about this 'business' for sure. The 'cleaner' messaged to say she'd be late and then messaged again to say she was ill and wouldn't be able to do our bond clean. I left a message on the answerphone asking for an alternative cleaner asap and never heard back.

This is a fraudulent Sri Lankan company portending to be Australian. They have fruaded my abn and details to get paid for work . They have stolen money. The police are going to shut them down. Stay the hell away until I get this site shut down.
