Do not waste your hard earned money and trust this company to do a professional oven clean! To start with the cleaner arrived 2 hours after the booked time. The overall clean was less than satisfactory and I will have to go over parts of it myself. Ruined my gas cooktop hats by using a product that corroded them. After speaking with them about the delay they offered a $50 credit but was charged the full amount quoted. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

To clarify, the $50 offered was provided as a future service voucher, not a discount applied to the completed job, which is why the original quoted amount remained unchanged. We also note that we did not receive any further contact from you after the service to formally escalate concerns regarding the quality or the cooktop hats, which would have allowed us to investigate and address this sooner.
That said, we don’t dismiss your feedback. A member of our team will be reaching out to you shortly so we can review the situation properly and work toward a fair resolution.

Unacceptable quality, manipulating reviews
They actively engage in review manipulation, locking a partial refund offer behind a requirement to delete my negative review from Google (violates Australian Consumer Law).
I had an overwhelmingly negative experience. We engaged them to do a builders clean, the first of which resulted in our place smelling of manure as they were redoing the field behind us and the cleaners decided to leave the patio doors open. This led to an angry call demand a refund met with an extortionate tone of “if you post your photos online, we will not help you.” I feel like I was forced into allowing them to attempt a second clean. At first they wanted the same couple to do it which I vehemently rejected. The second set of cleaners acknowledged to my wife how bad of a job the first crew did, but unfortunately didn’t fare much better. At best, they did a superficial clean but missed a ton and provided a service nowhere near a professional clean, let alone a more thorough builders clean.
This completely threw off our move-in plans. We spent the rest of the weekend re-cleaning ourselves, lost our free help to move our things and had to consume our evenings the next few nights and hire removalists at our own expense as the free help was no longer available to us.
During the resolution process, I held off writing a review until I could get the time to provide photos, which they kept asking for (sorry I’ve got a lot of things to deal with, photos can wait a few weeks) and decided to charge us again in the meantime which completely sent me over the deep end. A few weeks later I finally found the time to write the review and file chargebacks.
I’ve since received a refund for the second charge (so one chargeback cancelled), and given them ample time to resolve my dispute but, as I’m seeing common on other negative reviews, have trouble accepting responsibility and would rather argue. The original offer of compensation was incredibly offensive given the consequence of doing such poor jobs and what it cost us. I got to what seemed like a reasonable conclusion that just lets me move past, only to have unreasonable and unlawful conditions required before a refund will be received.
I was going to change the review from negative to, at a minimum, neutral or slightly positive, but this level of apathy and distrust and manipulation is just inexcusable.
I’ll be sure to follow up with an ACCC complaint regarding ACL Section 18 and 29 violations, review manipulation with Google, and may consider VCAT for additional costs incurred.

We did try to address the concerns by arranging a return visit with a different team and by requesting some evidence so we could properly assess the issues. We’re sorry that this process didn’t lead to an outcome you were happy with.
We’d like to clarify that we don’t engage in review manipulation. Our request to amend the review was simply because we felt it didn’t fully reflect the full situation. After the second clean, we reached out twice via email asking for after-service photos so we could better understand your concerns and work towards a fair resolution, but unfortunately we didn’t receive a response at the time. The review was posted before we had the chance to review the photos or fully address the matter.
We’re still very open to discussing this further and would like the opportunity to review everything with you. Please feel free to contact us directly at office@optimacleaners.com.au

My oven looks like new!
At first I was cross when a lady called and asked if she could come at 10.30 which would have been fine but I had an appointment at that time. She didn't agree to come at the original time and could I make it another day.
Jimmy then called to say he would come at the original time. I am so pleased as he did a fantastic job. My oven etc looks like new. So all well that ends well.
