Just to add, I did eventually hear back from Audio Trader, having started a refund process via my bank. I was given a returns sticker so I could carry the record player to the Post Office (no mean feat as a Disabled person unable to drive), having checked prior to buying that they would send a courier if I wanted to return.

I sent it via the post over 2 weeks ago now, and have had neither confirmation of its being sent, nor a refund.

Do not buy from this company.

I bought a Steve Vai Jem Jr guitar in a hard case, i kept the guitar despite it being shipped with the tremolo arm fully installed, this destroyed the arm / bushings & socket. I wasn't concerned at first thinking i could just replace it with a Floyd Rose trem & socket...nope. Ibanez has their own dimensions making it near impossible to get a replacement, you can buy the arm but not the socket, so nothing fits. Now left with a big hole in the bridge instead. I asked for suggestions on how to fix from Ben but no reply. Could have easily been avoided if the person shipping it had the first clue of what they were doing. Pull the arm out, wrap in bubble wrap, put in the case with the guitar...it's not difficult. Will probably have to buy a Gotoh bridge to replace it now. Rest of the guitar was immaculate & i'm pleased with, which makes this a real shame. Don't recommend you buy instruments from them.

I sold some hifi equipment to them. Fast quote based on photos, efficient courier collection, they paid the quoted amount quickly with no quibbles. There is no phone number to call and I got no response to a query I sent using their online form or to an email, so you may be frustrated if you feel you need to discuss anything. That does not detract from the quality of the service Audio Trader provides and I would happily use them again.

I sent a Michell turntable packed in the original box and polystyrene, quoted at over £200. I wanted to deliver but Audiotrader told me to send by courier. When it arrived they wrote to say that it had not been packed properly the lid was broken and was unusable. I told them to return it to me or tell me where to collect. They have not replied.
There is an incentive for Audiotrader to declare damage in shipment, so always insist on delivering yourself and being present when the item is unpacked.
This is a warning.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - NO REFUND POLICY

Ordered a product and wanted to return it. They claim to have a "Hassle-free returns within 30 days" return policy.
You have to email them to start the refund process. They will NOT RESPOND to any of these emails.
Have sent follow-up emails and others across platforms, all of which have been entirely IGNORED.
No phone number is listed so you can't even call them.

Complete CROOKS with ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Audio Trader gave me the best price on my guitar after getting a few quotes. A Jackson with a Floyd Rose isn't everyone's cup of tea so some companies didn't even get back to me or give me a quote in the first place. They give you a choice of Paypal or bank transfer and paid me within roughly 48 hours of having the guitar picked up, which they covered too via Fedex, so no courier charge. Alice answered my emails/queries and was very helpful and police. I would definitely recommend Audio Trader.

My sister organised for an electric organ to be picked up today and was meant to be picked up today. I have taken a day off work to be around when picked up. Had no communication from this company and have not answered any messages. Using email, online form or messenger. They dont have a phone number to call to find out what is going on.

This company is hard work but in the end I got my payment and its done with. I wouldn't use again

I have to say my experience was painful. Avoid any companies who don't have telephone numbers for contact.
Where do I start? All contact is done via email. A bit hit n miss. Some replies came back following day.
Anyway I was now ready to place an order so I asked on email if could have an invoice for the item i wanted. Reply on email said I had to order on their web site. Fair enough I thought. I then asked on email again, could I receive by/on Saturday 7th March. I wanted it for Monday 9th. I sent this email on Thursday 5th March. The email I got back from Alice (they were always from Alice) said Yes this could be arranged as long as I ordered by Friday 6th by 1pm.
I ordered Friday 12.40pm, chose the option of paying over 3mths, 1st payment debited today balance over 2 mths.
5 mins later I had a email from loan company confirming. I also received an email from audio trader confirming order but Full payment was taken from my bank account. Also Delivery would be following week, Weds or Thurs.
As there was no telephone number, naturally I was frustrated. I emailed right away. I got an email back from Alice saying they now don't deliver on Saturdays!!
So no delivery like I needed and all the money taken out in 1 go and not as i chose on their web site.
Basically I was so frustrated because of lack of accountability by Alice. Definitely not even aware that within a space of 24hrs she confirmed Saturday delivery and she confirmed no delivery on Saturdays.
I emailed Benjamin (the Boss) Did he contact me apologising or asking me if he could help? Nope, just ignored my email and todate still no reply.

Tip: have a phone number for customers to phone Benjamin. Or better still ask your customer service or Alice to phone customers when problem occurs . My telephone number is at the bottom of all my emails.

Thank you for your email Benjamin. All a bit late now though and I notice you totally ignored my main problem for my cancellation with regards me expecting delivery on Saturday afternoon. Alice telling me Saturday delivery can be arranged and then telling me 24hrs later Saturday deliveries never happen!!!???
Alice giving customers incorrect information regards deliveries, day before orders are placed will only cause problems. I have been let down and no one has apologised for the incorrect information given to me regards a Saturday delivery.

The fact you choose to ignore, tells me all I need to know.
You also ignored my original email sent direct to you before I made the above review. You could have got back to me sooner and sorted this out if you could have been bothered.

Really good service, filled in the form to get a quote for my speakers, accepted the offer and sent them off. I was a little nervous because I had sent my speakers to the unknown, but all was good they tested the speakers and sent the agreed amount in the quote. 5* without a doubt, would recommend to any other people who are a little apprehensive like I was.
