Die Schi meiner Tochter (Atomic Cloud) haben sich nach 2.5 Jahren "aufgelöst". Die obere Schicht hat sich vom Kern des Schis getrennt. Da die Schi älter als 2 Jahre sind gab es von Atomic nur ein "tut uns Leid" aber keine Vergünstigung für neue Schi. Wir haben bis jetzt immer Atomic gekauft - das waren die letzten - es gibt auch anderen guten Mitberweg!

Premium Price, Budget Durability: My Disappointing Experience with Atomic Premium Ski

"I am writing this to warn fellow skiers about the longevity of Atomic’s premium equipment. I purchased a flagship pair of skis ATOMIC REVOSHOCK CLOUD C14 for my wife, (original value approx. €1200 in 2023 march), expecting the high-end quality the brand promises.

After only 4 weeks of actual use over 3 years, 2 weeks in 2024, 1 week in 2025, and only two days in 2026, in normal mode like medium women skier, the skis suffered a major structural failure, making them irreparable and unsafe. Despite the skis being in otherwise pristine condition, Atomic’s customer service refused any technical evaluation or assistance, strictly hiding behind a 2-year warranty window.

While I understand warranty terms, I expect a €1200 professional product to last more than 4 weeks of skiing. Short long story, The entire sole along the length of the ski came off about 2-3cm from the edge, and the metal edge came out completely. You can pull it with your finger, along the entire length of the ski from the tip to the tail. Luckily no one was injured, and we are safe. It could have been very bad.The ski service report was: manufacturing defect, but Atomic Customer Service refused an expertise, saying again that the 2-year warranty expired from the date of purchase from invoice / purchase proof.

Atomic’s only solution was a 20% discount code—a generic offer you can find at any retail sale.

If you are looking for an investment that lasts, you might want to look elsewhere. Very disappointed in the product's durability and the brand's lack of accountability for what is clearly a manufacturing defect."

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service I ever experienced. My atomic ski broke around a month ago, and I still haven’t received a new one. I was clear from the start that I wanted a new one (same model), but now they offer a refund to my atomic account. The thing is that it isn’t possible to buy the ski on their website. So now I’m stuck with a refund I can’t use for anything and a brand who aren’t trying to help find a dealer who got a similar ski.
So I need to find the dealer who have that ski in stock, and then I somehow need to arrange the contact between atomic and their dealers

Abkassieren, aber nicht liefern

Bei mir war bei einem Volant Genesis Silver - ein von Atomic angeblich handgefertigter Ski für 1200 Euro (!) - ein Stück der Abdeckung der Bindungsplatte abgebrochen. Ersatzteil? Gibt es nicht! Abkassieren können sie bei Atomic, aber mit dem Service haben sie es nicht so...kaufe jetzt wieder wie früher bei Völkl.

Kundenservice fordert Fotos der abgelösten Kante an.

Angebotener Gutschein für den Onlineshop ist wertlos, weil Atomic-Ski auf dem freien Markt billiger zu kriegen sind.

Kein Eingeständnis, keine Verbundenheit mit dem Produkt, kein Versprechen auf verbesserte Ware …
Ich gebe keine fast 1000 Euro für einen Ski aus, der vielleicht wieder nach 10 Wochen auseinander fällt!

Conditions de retour trompeuses, arnaque ?

Achat récemment fait d'une paire de ski classic skin. Je fais le test de poids habituel (en se plaçant sur le ski sur une surface plate pour voir comment le cambre réagit). Il s'avère que cela ne me convient pas du tout malgré avoir suivi le guide des tailles.
Je souhaite donc retourner le produit, et là Atomic me dit que c'est impossible car il considère ces skis comme des produits personnalisés. Je leur explique que ce n'est pas le cas, en ski de fond les fixations ne sont plus montés par perçage et vissage, mais simplement glissé sur une plaque déjà présente d'usine sur le ski, donc absolument rien de personnalisé.

Schlechter Kundenservice und Qualitätskontrolle

Grottenlos schlechte Qualitätskontrolle selbst bei den Top Skis. Gebraucht gekaufte Atomic Q9 weisen nach insgesamt unter 10 Skitagen absolut keine Vorspannung mehr auf und performen dementsprechend schlecht. Kundenservice nach Rat gefragt, alles was zurückgekommen ist, war "ohne Rechnung können sie nichts machen", kein Entgegenkommen und dazu noch sehr unfreundlich am Telefon.

Atomic Redster X9 löst sich auf

Habe ein Paar Atomic Redster X9 gekauft.
Nun löst dich der Belag ab.
Atomic kann da (nach langwierigem Kontakt mit dem Kundenservice) "leider" nichts machen. Die Garantiezeit wurde überschritten. Dass der Schi schlecht gefertigt wurde und sich nun auflöst macht der Firma Atomic nichts - mein Geld haben sie ja.

Durability issues with Atomic Photo Goggles

I bought a pair of Atomic Goggles for my annual ski holiday in 2023. Looked nice new but after around 14 days on the slopes the coating started flaking off. Just 2-3 weeks outside the warranty period and Atomic didn't want to know. Just offered to sell me replacement lenses for more than the goggles cost in the first place.
Poor quality product and bad customer service. I'll be going back to my cheap decathlon goggles which lasted miles longer than these and are cheap enough to replace when the time comes.

Brand doesn't honour their warranty

I purchased the Atomic Backland XTD 120 boots less than a year ago and used them briefly during some spring skiing last season. Unfortunately, this winter I’ve only managed a couple of outings due to an injury, so the boots have had minimal use. While reinserting the insole recently, I heard a pop and discovered that the inner lining had torn, with the foam coming loose—rendering the boots unusable.

Given that I bought them less than a year ago and their warranty covers two years, I assumed this issue would be resolved under warranty. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with their customer service. They showed no interest in addressing the problem or supporting their customers. It’s frustrating to see such poor service from a brand like Atomic. Consider this a warning for anyone thinking of purchasing from them.

Quick delivery and great quality

Ordered a number of items including skis, poles, helmet, goggles and suitcase. Despite being out of stock on some items in UK and coming from Germany, all products arrived in perfect condition in 3 working days! Great quality and amazing that they use UPS, one of the best and friendliest couriers I have had in a while.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Bindings broke and customer service couldn’t care less. Despite being listed as the UK office, they were based in Spain. Which is not a problem, if they were able to give any details of UK stockists, repairs, parts - but nothing at all. Emails and phone calls just generated generic, confused, or incorrect responses. Been a long time user of Atomic ski equipment, but response was so useless that I’ll never buy their kit again.

Untransparent returns process

I saw previous reviews about return prices. As I am unsure of how well the item would fit, I wanted to check this. Atomic control the returns process and provide you with the shipping label to return an item and deduct this fee from your refund amount. When I asked the customer helpline how much it typically costs to return a pair of goggles from mainland UK to their warehouse they kept giving bogus responses like how it is variable across regions and different carriers and they can't predict prices. I explained again that I am based in mainland UK and I don't expect they use different carriers within mainland UK. The customer helpline ended the conversation and I am now unable to get through. A very un-transparent and strange process.

After saving up at Christmas for ski's

After saving up at Christmas for ski's, my son ordered skis and bindings from Atomic on a Sunday. Immediately realised he'd ordered the wrong pair and sent a message to amend or cancel. Ion the Monday we messaged and also range twice to try to amend but they we're not interested in intervening in the order. Tried again 4 times on Tuesday but again not interested. Beware. The worst customer service possible from any company, are they really in 2024!

Hab 3 x etwas bestellt. Nie wieder

Hab 3 x etwas bestellt.
Geliefert wird nach wie vor mit DPD. Die Pakete kommen 14 Tage lang nicht an. Wenn man dann bei der Serviceline anruft, warum man plötzlich eine Email mit einem Rücksendeauftrag bekommt, bekomme ich immer die gleiche Anrwort.
Wir haben keine Hausnummer von Ihnen.
Für diese Erkenntnis brauchen sie 14 Tage.
Dann muss man neu bestellen. Das Spiel beginnt von vorne.
Wenn man es 2 Jahre lang nicht schafft im Online Shop von gespeicherten Kunden die Adresse an DPD weiter zu leiten...ist es besser man schließt seinen Online Shop ...ich bin stinkesauer..im Sommer benötige ich keine Schistöcke mehr.

When you purchase from the web shop return costs are not stated, they choose what they want to charge you. They wanted shipping £43 for me to return a helmet! You would be better off buying elsewhere wit ha more customer friendly returns policy

Im Ergebnis enttäuschend

Lange Lieferzeit, langwieriger Kundensupport, Lieferung & Produkt ansonsten gut.

Ich bestellte ein paar Ski am 10.2. und wählte beim Versand die Option Express. Die Lieferzeit wurde innerhalb von 24h angekündigt.

Schlussendlich wurde der Ski nach 4 Tagen (nach dem Wochenende) Versand und erreichte mich am 15.2.

Das war ärgerlich da ich in den Skiurlaub gefahren bin und die Lieferung verpasst habe.

Richtig ärgerlich war dass der Support mir die Rückerstattung der Express gebühren verweigert hat mit der Aussage dass die Montage der Skier 24h alleine dauert (kein Hinweis darauf beim Bestellvorgang). Es wurde angemerkt dass ggfs. bei zu montierenden Skier kein Express Service mehr angeboten werden sollte.

BTW: die bestellten Ski sind klasse, allerdings werde ich den nächsten Ski wohl bei einem anderen Hersteller aussuchen.

The best skis

The best skis. I recently changed from K2 to Atomic and I can only say good things about them. Took them to a ski trip to Europe and been enjoying them since day one!

Best Ski ever

I'm a former professional Skier, German, and Atomic is in my opinion currently the best one for Race/Superski. The socalled RED-Series - great ones!
