The service was quick and efficient. However, mr health and safety goes WAY overboard for a simple small domestic sample. I’m 70 yrs old, and spent half my apprenticeship cutting clue asbestos without a mask. So to be expected to wear a full forensic suit to take off a few slivers of Artex from a textured ceiling that could have contained at worst the less aggressive white asbestos seemed a little extreme.

Quick test results and very helpful when contacted with questions.

Prompt service with no problems

Being told by an electrician that the textured coating on the ceiling your builder is soon to remove and replaster probably contains asbestos is not a great feeling. I decided to remove any doubt by getting some tests done. Having found the Asbestos Samples website just after 10pm it was great to see they had a live chat facility. I wanted some advice on self sampling and the immediate response was a big help. David removed any concerns I had and helped me with identifying how many samples I needed to take. The sampling kit was received the day after ordering and the lab emailed the results to me the day after I posted the samples. Fantastic service all round. Fortunately the electrician was wrong - the samples did not contain any asbestos.

Really worthwhile. Quickly put our mind at rest when making a decision to proceed with the purchase of a new property.

An excellent service and very good value. Comprehensive protection and sampling kit supplied, including a whole body protection suit with high protection breathing mask and strong rubber gloves, double sample bags (one inside the other) and large double "official" Asbestos disposal bags. I found the instructions very clear and easy to follow. One day after posting my samples I was emailed a certificate stating my samples were Asbestos free.
My samples came from a mat underneath a central heating boiler which I am to replace. Most of the contractors I approached remarked on the mat and said they would not remove the old boiler unless the mat proved to be Asbestos free.
