Sam was most helpful and knowledgeable when discussing my unoccupied property insurance, she could answer all my questions and provided a very competitive quotation. I wished I'd changed insurance company a long time ago, seeing the vast difference in premiums.

The only down side is that the Customer Zone doesn't work, so can't check/view or download the amendments on my policy.

This is a group of scammers & fraudsters!

I paid premiums for years expecting protection, only to be abandoned and left picking up the pieces when disaster hit. My property was completely destroyed by fire caused by my tenants’ malicious acts.

Gallagher Bassett – acting for Akel Underwriters and Lloyd’s – spent months interrogating me, creating distress & hunting for any reason to reject my claim.
They dragged out investigations just to hide behind one single clause, ignoring my total loss and leaving me with life-changing financial ruin.

They weaponise fine print solely to protect their profits, delivering none of the cover you paid for.

Don't get exploited as a small landlord!

The customer service person was very helpful and thorough with the delivery of insurance questions and explained any questions I had very well. I did sometimes find her accent a little difficult to understand.

Efficient, good value, polite

Great price with low excess on the buildings policy, but could not get the online system to accept my payment - it just said 'processing' for ever!
Tried three time with no success.
So I rang and spoke to Moh who seemed to know of the online payment issue and offered to help.
He then had to repeat every detail of the policy (which he did at great speed) and eventually he took my payment.
Next issue - received the welcome email.

Clicking on the ‘Customer Zone’ for the policy details takes me to a page with this warning which I’m reluctant to use.
