Really great range of products to choose from - and the bundles with properly matched lining are a great price as well as giving reassurance that you've got the right fabrics together. When the parcel arrived it was beautifully wrapped - a joy to open - and included a booklet of fabric samples with care instructions. I'll be referring to this again in the future - probably for another purchase. 100% would recommend.

I first bought some fabric online from arkdefo and it was lovely but not quite what I was looking for even though their descriptions were very good. When I heard they had opened a shop in Glasgow I thought I must visit, there's nothing like feeling fabric by hand. When I visited the shop the customer service was brilliant, they talked me through all the different weights and dry/wet cotton. I left with some lovely fabric . I would definitely recommend Arkdefo for anyone wanting some waxed cotton

After posting a review saying I would buy again if they had an burgundy fabric, they contacted me to say they had found 2m and did I want it. That is what I call great responsive service!
The invoice was sent as it's not a standard length for them, and once paid the parcel was promptly posted and arrived well wrapped. Inside was the 2m plus another short section as a gift as it was marked.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend either the quality of the fabrics or the amazing service. Good luck with the shop.

Arkdefo's beginner sewing and pattern-making courses are awesome! I've wanted to start making my own clothes for a while because:

A) I am pretty confident most of the clothes I can afford were not made ethically
B) finding stuff that i both *like* and *fits* is an eternal struggle.

Some of the things I really want to make may have to be left until I have some more practice, but I'll get there eventually and I'm hopeful that understanding how basic patterns are made and how fabric fits together will give me latitude to play and experiment.

Also, the customer service is incredible :D

Just returned my beautiful fabrics from Arkdefo. Despite the Total Mail issues and the fact it was stuck in Glasgow for a couple of weeks, the fabric is top quality and was despatched in good time. I’ll be back for more!!
