Arvi came to replace the electrical system in my flat, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. He was polite, professional, and did an excellent job. He answered all the questions I had and made sure everything was thoroughly checked before completing the work.
My hat’s off to him and to the receptionist, who kept me updated about the engineer’s whereabouts throughout the process. Truly great customer service!

Disputed EICR Classification – Independent Engineers Disagreed
ARK REACT - Trading Title is ARK Group Services LTD.
ARK Group Services carried out an EICR at my property which was marked “Unsatisfactory” with multiple C2 observations and associated remedial costs.
Given that no changes had been made since a previous satisfactory EICR, I sought independent guidance. Electrical Safety First referenced industry Best Practice Guide 4 and suggested that several items recorded as C2 would more appropriately fall under C3.
I then appointed an independent NAPIT-registered electrician, and a second engineer also reviewed the installation. Both disagreed with the original C2 classifications and certification was issued accordingly.
I invited ARK to provide technical clarification through the Estate Agent who gave them the job regarding their coding decisions but did not receive a substantive response.
I would welcome ARK Group Services responding publicly to explain the basis on which their C2 classifications departed from industry Best Practice Guide 4 guidance.

I am very disappointed with the service I received. The process was plagued by delays, poor communication, and inaccurate information from start to finish. My original inspection appointment was cancelled on the day and rescheduled, causing unnecessary inconvenience. After the inspection was eventually carried out, I was repeatedly given conflicting explanations about why my report had not been issued — including being wrongly told that I hadn’t paid, despite payment already being confirmed.
The report was only released after I escalated the matter, which should not have been necessary. Even more concerning, the EICR was marked as a fail with recommended remedial works. When I sought assistance arranging the work, no one could provide guidance or support. However, after involving my letting agents, an appointment was suddenly arranged, which highlighted the lack of proactive service from the company itself.
Due to my concerns, I instructed another qualified electrician who inspected the property the same day and issued a passed EICR within hours. I then consulted two additional electricians, both of whom confirmed that the original failed report appeared inaccurate. This strongly undermined my confidence in the reliability of the initial inspection.
Overall, this experience caused significant stress, delayed a tenant move-in, and led to unnecessary costs. Based on the poor service, misinformation, and questionable findings, I cannot recommend this company.

I had my electric shower replaced and the service was excellent from start to finish. The electrician arrived on time, clearly explained what needed doing, and completed the work efficiently. Everything was left clean and tidy, and the shower is working perfectly. Good communication throughout and fair pricing. I would happily use this company again and recommend them to others.

I had a mixer tap replaced, and I’m very pleased with the service. The plumber arrived on time, explained the work clearly, and completed the installation efficiently. Everything was tested properly before leaving, and the area was left clean and tidy. Communication was good throughout, and the pricing was clear. I don't normally write reviews, however I would like to make an exception.
I have a number of rental properties, which has increased over the last 10 years. ARK have successfully carried out maintenance on my rental properties for the last 8 years and I can honestly say the work has been first class.
Not only are their prices reasonable but it has taken out the stress and worry that us landlords have and allowed me to focus on other aspects. They have dealt with issues promptly and are quick to respond when I need emergency work to be carried out.
Toiletgate - #77262
18/9 Ark were called out to my tenants to repair a toilet, # 77262. They charged a £90 call out and then raised a quote to complete a simple toilet repair for £780 and suggested a handyman would need to go in after and 'make good' [there solution was to smash the toilet off of the wall]. Quote was politely refused and a local plumber repaired it for £190.

Recently installed a Zappi EV charger for me. Very neat and professional job. Very competitively priced too. I'd certainly be willing to recommend to family and friends.
Great customer service from nice people
The team at Ark have been very efficient and professional every time I have needed their services. This morning we had an issue with our electrics overnight that impacted our car charger and heating. I rang up at 9 am and spoke to a support person who promised I would get a call back. By 9.15am I had received a follow up call from Mark the manager of the team and by 10.30 am Mark himself had arrived to resolve the issue as no one was close by and the heating was out. Great service from everyone. I'll definitely use them again and recommend their services.

Very Impressive Service
We used Ark Group to instal a home charging point for an electric vehicle. From first contact to completion of the installation, the people from Ark were first class. Everyone we had contact with was professional, competent and thorough. The electricians who carried out the initial survey and the installation itself were excellent. They explained everything that needed to happen and kept us informed on progress throughout. The installation was not entirely straight forward, having to accommodate a lengthy cotoneaster bush, but this was completed successfully and to a high standard. I was also impressed with the quality and efficiency of the business processes Ark deployed, from the issue of the original quotation to handling the subsequent grant claim. I would definitely use Ark again for similar work in the future.

I had Ben from ARK come and do some emergency plumbing at my property on behalf of Prospects Estate Agents. He was such a lovely gent, professional and did such a good job. I had my young nephew who was obsessed with watching him and he interacted really well with my nephew which just added to a good customer service experience. They are due to come back and do some other work for my property which i have no doubts will be a great job again!
Oh and an added bonus he cleaned up properly after his work which recently ive found contractors dont tend to do atall!

If you're a new customer, forget it, ARK doesn't want you
Used their website to request a Quote - heard nothing. After several days had passed I phoned and was told that no website message had been received and that I should email. Did so - I got a Delivery Receipt but heard nothing. After a few more days had passed I phoned again to be told that no email had been received. Office Administrator Emma offered to email me so I could reply to her. Did so - Emma replied promptly that they weren't accepting any business from new customers. This is not a company that deserves to succeed in business. Take your custom elsewhere.

Beware of this company
My review follows the same lines as the previous reviewer involving a recent EICR on my 5 year old flat. I too received an unsatisfactory report together with an expensive quote in order to obtain a satisfactory report. After an exchange of emails in which they conceded that certain items could be removed from the quote as they had not, in fact, been found to be unsafe and because I had the audacity to suggest they should waive their inspection fee as mistakes in their reporting had unfortunately been made (a reasonable request), the response from their manager became quite aggressive. I received the following comment from their manager, and I quote:
"Please feel free to leave a review, it will stop private individuals using us which take up far too much of our precious time.
Kind regards, James"
I had a further report carried out by a different company and had a very different result.

Just two points following your response, no emails have been deleted. I simply wrote a new email to try and simplify the salient points. Unfortunately this seems to have confused you. Secondly, the only time I didn't respond directly to you was following your last email, the text of which is quoted above. It didn't warrant a reply. The rest of your generic email sent to anyone who has dared to question you just confirms your attitude.

EICR check carried out through Romans
ARK was asked to carry an EICR check on my rented property by Roman's estate agent, as they are their approved contractor. The visit on 02.07.20 highlighted a change in the consumer unit and rated this C1/C2 which is in a potentially dangerous condition (522.6.202; 522.6.203) (You can only have one rating and not 2) at a cost of £480.00. Replacing the smoke alarms and a damaged double socket were correct at the time. They are members of NICEIC but use the NAPIT guidelines to code items that should be a C3 to a C1/C2 rating, revenue generation or what. I had to quickly go through the guidelines for NICEIC and get a reputable contractor in, as the flat is 12 years old and only required a modification was a RCD to improve the C3 rating.
Thanks for your standard response and yes I am a responsible landlord, which is why I got the EICR check carried out by an honest electrician. The government guidelines allows unscrupulous companies to manipulate the guidelines, to suit themselves and am sure that landlords are also being scammed into doing a lot more work than is required.
