Aramark Customer Service is horrible. It's one of Northside Hospital's largest contracts, so we are forced to use them. NSH's Standard of excellence is top tier, and dealing with Aramark is quite an inconvenience.

My experience was years ago, but I found myself reflecting on it recently. Years ago, I worked at a Dodger game through an agency, and it was fun. Armark hired the agency to bring workers into the game to help. I noticed Aramark was hiring, so I applied for the job. The following day, I showed up for the next Dodger game, and everyone was fired and thrown out with no explanation. I have no idea why, but Aramark was responsible. So I spoke up to the woman who worked in HR about my job application because it was she who accepted my application. She had me come in for an interview, ONLY to blackball me during the process. It was a setup. This is how abusive these people are. I later balled her out as she deserved it!

Fast forward years later, I get hired to work at Fullerton University as a cashier, turns out that it is Aramark running the food service there. It was so toxic that I walked out after a few weeks. Rhonda, a white woman, was racist and rude all the time. She yelled at people if they were on a cell phone, but she was on hers all the time during working hours.

Stupid young kids who worked there were trouble makers, many sh**t talkers. I got so fed up with the BS, I really didn't care, so I took my check and left. This is a really bad company, and no one does anything to discipline people for their bad behavior.

I work for myself now, and I will NOT EVER work for anyone again. It's not worth the mental abuse.

They do not listen to complaints, the independent company they use to take complaints doesn't even follow up with complaints. Aramark does not like to follow up or listen.my husband Worked in a prison setting, several managers were bringing in drugs to inmates. When other manager shelly was told she did everything in her power to make things difficult and fire him. Other manager Patrick was hired from dunking doughnut and never knew how to do his job he also made remarks about not liking black people to inmates and made racial jokes towards and person of different decent. Husband never received his last check. Shelly called told my husband not to return, then acted like she didn't know why he hadn't come back on voicemails to cover herself. Served low quality food or slop to people. One manager was fired for bringing in drugs already. But when you do the right thing and tell corporate they let the person you told on anonymously know you told on them.

Aramark at Warner Bros Studios is an atrocious company to work for. They have no structure. The supervisors and managers are too young to be in the role, many are under 18. Staff are bullied and belittled, and most can’t wait to leave.

Manager at Ottawa location does not wear a uniform and works the line, inside the kitchen, serving customers-her clothes are disgraceful!! Too tight for an obese person who shows off badly done tattoos on arms and shoulders. She snaps at customers and also wears tight pants that only come down two thirds down her leg- a health and safety violation. Continually takes off early, sells leftover food and chicken is awful mixed and dark meat from a frozen bag. Her second in command uses weird, unappetizing spices on EVERYTHING. Dishwasher never cleans anything and spends his time making dumb talk to anyone so that he can get attention for himself. Food prices changed without the client's being communicated. Always out of stock of cold foods; manager constantly uses excuse of being understaffed while her favourites standing around doing nothing

Do not work for ST James aramark uk! Ruben Perez is a manager and he is a lier! I didn't get my P45 and payslips that means first 3 months you work for them illegally! The place is a total scam, you have to do not only your duties but they forcing you to help others because they always short of staff. Atm my qlawyer making a lawsuit for that guy so I see how it goes but in UK you must provide payslips and P45 I've got an email from him that he will send it my mail, but there's none.

I was just told I have A interview. Then they cancel it not even 1 minute after very unprofessional this is very disappointing and sad for me because was excited then just got shot down like chopped liver. Everything happens for a reason maybe the job is not meant for me is how I'm looking at. I stay positive in every outcome. Better opportunities

I went on an interview for a position of laundry attendant. But the lady Tiffany starts talking about a floor tech job. Let’s keep in mind. My appointment was supposed to be at 11 didn’t have it till 1140 so there was no apology so I let it slide Says the floor tech you buffing Waxing strip and I had to stop in the middle of sentence. I said this isn’t the laundry I applied for the position position. Why didn’t I receive a notification saying we hired someone.keep in mind ten minutes she tells me.she Tiffany assume I would be ok floor tech job I said myself this is supposed be laundry postion she started talking about floor tech job she Tiffany should started sir interview for floor tech job. Had stop her.would you like to apply for another position communication never given before interview So I went on because I was already there. It’s like saying the positions already hard do you want to be a doctor? I have no experience with that if you get my drift so I reported it I reported issues to Coordinator and she said “”what do you want to look to get out of this? I’m thinking this HR person is going to do something about it but she did nothing I said I want Apology and all the HR coordinator say was I have all your full details I can’t telll what will happen said what do you want out of this? How do you say? What do you want out of this but you can’t tell me what’s going to happen she never received an apology from HR and I told the coordinator if you already have someone they should’ve been notification saying position interview for another position to me and I know that I went for another interview and another job wouldn’t work for this company. You guys are liars.bunch of liars 😡 Tiffany didn’t ask do you want interview floor tech she just went on talk about job I said I went on for laundry job corporate of Aramark didn’t do anything coming from person looking for job that was wrong Aramark communications is awfully bad if person get hired notification should of been sent or HR should said would you be interested in another not wait tell me ten minutes in interview she didn’t Tiffany tell me I had stop her Wait minute this interview supposed be about laundry then says oh we already hire person how unprofessional any job if you already hire most jobs use taelo vendor apply for job let’s look at company view you hire person why didn’t you notify applicant of job hire before interview now you interview me for job I have no experience what type stuff is that really like saying you can’t get laundry job but go for doctor position no experience set up failure Aramark really fumble this I just hope patients taken care of I hope it’s all about the patients how do you expect patients happy you can’t be upfront with the workers it’s new thing lie to people HR says what do you want out of this told HR person took my complaint I said want explanation regional HR then before I got off phone when do I get my call all she said I can’t tell you I said you said what do you expect out of this I said her this why customer service is down toilet workers not then service customer not good all HR coordinator yea oh ok in a nonchalant way who cares

Aramark operates by people who target profit at any cost, do not trust them, they will promise you good working environment but instead you’re walking in to toxic environment ,they are destroying good people! Lack of any empathy for employees.Nightmare to work for Aramark! The HR department will make sure you are aware of that if you bring any issues to the attention of the Aramark HR department!!

Terrible company to work for, have incredibly questionable hiring and retention practices. They are also pushing local farm stands from selling products in Philadelphia venues. This organization is not recommended due to shady practices from higher ups. They are trying to get rid of local help and farms, very sad that they are doing this, esp. in this day and age.

This company bills for services that we don’t receive, telling me that’s how it works that I get billed 52 weeks a year even if they don’t show. The drivers forge our name on service invoices, we are billed for incorrect items, we are billed inconsistent amounts for the same services this company is a joke.

I used Aramark Vestis for Mat and Mop service. They billed for services and did not show. They forged my initials on my invoices. Now they are claiming I had a contract even though I repeatedly refused to sign one and they will not pickup their dirty mats and mops. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Worst company I have even done business with. SAVE YOURSELF

I worked full-time as a kitchen porter for Aramark for almost a year. I worked in a large kitchen/washroom in offices in Sunbury. Previous to that I did about six months of agency work for Aramark, once again as a kitchen porter at the same location.
In all that time there was not a single day when all the equipment worked. Dysfunction dishwashers, conveyor belts ( for carrying plates, trays etc from restaurant to the washroom) would often break down, drains blocked.
Or how about missing or outdated fire extinguishers. There should be Fire extinguishers in or near ever room, but many were missing. Fire extinguishers should also be tested every year, yet many had not been tested for over 18 months.
Fire alarms that did not work, I repeatedly told management about this series safety issue, but nothing was ever done to fix the fire alarm.
Total contempt for their employees safety.

There also seemed to be a lack of cutlery, how can any catering company run a restaurant without adequate cutlery?? On busy lunchtimes there would not be enough cutlery for the customers having their lunch.
Add to that the constant lack of staff.
All this meant that the staff who were working would end up being expected to do their own work and the work of the none existent workers. Obviously this is impossible, one worker can only do the work of one person.
But despite the dysfunctional equipment, lack of equipment, lack of cutlery and lack of staff, management would blame the unfortunate kitchen porters if and when work was not completed or when there was not enough cutlery for the customers in the restaurant.
It is management's responsibility to make sure that the equipment works, that there is enough equipment available and that there are enough kitchen porters to do the work, but it seems it was far more convenient to put the blame the kitchen porters for any failures or when work is not completed.
Eventually I had had enough of the attitude of management and left Aramark.
When I did leave I made a complaint about the poor working conditions, broken or lack of equipment, faulty fire alarms and missing or outdated fire extinguishers, lack of staff and poor and inept management. I sent various emails to Human Resources, but surprise, surprise.. it seems that I was mistaken, management were perfect, all the equipment worked and everyone was happy..
Avoid this company, Aramark are a horrible company to work for, they have no respect for their workers, especially kitchen porters. Their main priority seems to be making a profit, regardless of how they make this profit.
A one star review seems far too generous!!

I worked for,arakmak in Denmark Femern this company is useless with management there have there head,so fare up there own ass, they don't smell the shit, they treat workers like shit and lay off people with out reason.
In the 6 months I worked for them they layed off more people or 10 times the people i seen got layed off in the past 20 years, working Do not hirer them, do not work for them

This company is the worst! I have tried and tried to work through the issues I've experienced over the last year and a half but I have finally given up on them. From being charged for service that I never received, being told I received service from them when in fact, my business was closed, to promises of reimbursement when I was charged for services not delivered that I never received, this company is a mess!
Even firing them is a nightmare. I called them yesterday and fired them and told them to come and collect their property (I rent floor mats from them.)
Of course to absolutely no one's surprise, they attempted to deliver new mats today which i refused. I then received an email saying that the mats were delivered and I would be billed for them.
DO NOT do business with this company. Worst vendor experience I have ever had in 20+ years in business!

I tried working with this company and I am actually still recieving text messages to work events and I refuse to sign up on any of thier events, As of today I have yet to recieve my on the job orientation pay, i have contacted HR, I have emailed several different people along with calling the hot line # they give you to call and have reported this situation. As of today i have yet been compensated. Even the hotline said thier hands are tied as they ave done all they could to help me. Granted its only a few hours of pay, its the principle of the whole situation. very unprofessional. I wont even mention how un sanitary thier kitchen area is in the freeman collisium and how unprofessional they can be in that dept. I will say i worked the Toyota field and everyone there was professional and very helpful. I never had the opportunity to the Frost Bank Center as i feel like they pick and choose who gets on the schedule first with ccertain events, As i had signed up for several events and was never scheduled, they only wanted to schedule me at the events no one else wants to work. I am not the only person who has had missing pay checks, though I cant speak for them but I will say after I vented about my situation in front of other workers, they too have had the same issue. NO one and I mean absolutely no one will ever respond to your emails and if they do its weeks later.

Very poor communication skills.
Lack the skills to effectively place the right candidate with companies.

I worked for Aramark at Heritage Stadium in Cincinnati OH and let me tell you, It was THE WORST experience I have ever had working at a job! The manager, Chrystal, who showed up and immediately had an attitude! She then proceeded to insult each of her co workers and in front if customers the whole night! Customers in my line were making comments about why she was so vulgar and insulting! She then stood there not taking any customers while all out lines were crazy long($2 beer night) Carmen(the girl she insulted the most all night) walked by an yelled to the customers that she was open, she made the comment ‘well I wasnt going to say anything’ THIS IS THE MANAGER!! All the employees said this was the way she was each night! She needs to be reported because no one should be spoke to the way she spoke to each employee, she even snapped at customers! Very unprofessional and very out of line!! I will never work for this company again!!

If i could give zero i would. absolutely useless company with zero thought about their customers and the experience they receive. So wrapped up in their own agendas they forgot about their staff. In some areas you can't even make a purchase because they insist on using their own systems which don't work!

Management shows favoritism. Treats employees like they're beneath them. Harasses the hard workers, and babies the lazy ones. They focus on the small tasks, and ignore the real problems within Aramark. If, you report them to HR, they retaliate by finding something to write you up for.
