Houseboat reservation cancellation at Lake Powell had an undisclosed cancellation fee. I wrote to them -- they refused to reverse it:

I would like to dispute the "change fee" deducted from my refund noted in your last email.

You noted:

“Based on our cancellation policy listed below, we have forfeited $361.50.”

On your webpage it states: "Change Policy: Houseboat reservation changes are subject to change fees." (italics added)

This was a reservation cancellation, not a reservation change (which implies there is a reservation still in effect but with a change, such as a date change). A change fee is not applicable to my reservation cancellation.

Even if Aramark is asserting that the cancellation is a “reservation change,” and thus is “subject to change fees,” the cancellation or change policy above makes no mention of a $361.50 fee. How was this fee amount determined? Your webpage mentions no specific change fee amounts regarding changes. Given that language, it could be any amount – why not, say, $1,204? If Aramark is imposing a change fee without disclosure of the amount in advance, that is a fraudulent business practice.

Diese Firma betreibt den Cateringservice im Hamburger Volksparkstadion. Und ergaunert sich hier den Becherpfand von € 3,00 je Stück, indem eine Rückgabe an der Ausgabe verweigert wird. Es wird auf eine Rückgabestation im Ausgang verwiesen, die es aber garnicht gibt.
Ich habe den Fall mal wieder der Verbraucherzentrale gemeldet und hoffe das alle Betroffenen sich ebenfalls gegen diese billigen Hütchenspielertricks wehren.

Es hat wohl einen Grund, warum man weder die Mahlzeiten noch das Aramark Angebot im Ganzen in der App bewerten kann. Aramark feiert sich in der App als Caterer des Jahres 2025, aber den Preis haben sie sich wohl selbst verliehen oder den gab es dafür, wie man mit möglichst wenig Geld etwas essensähnliches anbieten kann. Ich finde das Angebot in unserer Kantine schlecht und meistens nicht schmackhaft. Man sieht dem Tagesgericht meistens an, dass es bloß aufgewärmtes Fertigessen ist. Sorry, ich habe mehr Anspruch an eine gesunde Ernährung als das. Jedes Mal, wenn ich dort gegessen habe, war es nach dem Motto "der Hunger treibt es rein". Ich würde lieber auf eine Kantine verzichten.

I have to go through the same process with the automated system every time I apply for a job and it is a demoralizing to have to start all the way over and not get to the application up to 5minutes after I hit apply. Why?????? And it seems you guys don't even care to make the process more applicable to same user multiple appliers.

Tried applying for a job at armark it will not accept my email address and theres noway on there website to contact them they should be banned from advertising on uk government websites

I was sent there from an Agency to work for Aramark Contract catering at the High School. I worked over 6-6.5 hours no, drink, cigarette, I tasted 1 tiny cube of chicken. The training was shocking, Their is some lovely staff in there, the ladies at back, J' and the head Co-ordinator were great. The Chef . I knew on cooking I could learn a lot, on management/training NOTHING.
In my 1st hour, walking across hotplate area to prep area with hot food in bare hands (No gloves), grease could fall on the floor, probably did, I had lost faith Immediately.

My overall assessment of the day which I was glad to not return, I wonder how many agency staff has came and gone due to the management.
If a Chef is overworked its because of the quality of staff under that person and the training/management implementation.
A leader should be vocal especially in a kitchen
Rotas and breaks are management responsibility Health/Safety,
If an employer is not providing these rest periods, workers can raise a grievance with management or file a claim with an Employment Tribunal

I have proof of emails of fact I worked there and the complaint of no break to the agency.

Als ik geen ster kon geven deed ik het.
2 maal eten besteld aan huis , 2 maal gewoon niet om gezien.
Ik had het eten besteld via OCMW gemeentehuis. 2 maal gewoon niet om gezien. Op OCMW vertelde ze me dat ze veel klachten binnen kregen aramarkt.
Ik kan zelf geen eten maken op moment door acedent. Daarom had ik besteld.
Moeten bij mij niet meer zijn. 2 maal niets van zich laten horen , schandalig dit.

The worst working experience in my life was in Aramark Balingen Baden Württemberg and I used to work in many European countries in my life.
It's American company and nobody speaks English. 😄
They have more boses than workers.
Unfortunately, I will have traumatic working experience forever.

After much discussion with our sales rep, Scott, we received our coffee machine and excited to try it out. However, we only were given one type of coffee to use. Our signed agreement listed multiple coffees, teas, etc. but none of that was provided. We also received our bill which had numerous charges that had not been mentioned. We were told the monthly fee would be $250 with the rental fee included. Our bill was for more than double that amount after the list of hidden fees had been added. Our manager contacted our sales rep to discuss these charges, and after a short conversation, our sales rep said they would just come pick it up. They did not care to fix things or further discuss the miscommunication. Lastly, when the technician arrived to pick up the coffee pot, he called a manager/sales rep on his phone and asked why this machine was being picked up. The person on the phone said we didn't want to pay for our bill. The phone conversation was loud enough for every person in our office to hear both sides of the conversation. Extremely rude. The coffee machine itself was great; however, the customer service we received is why we will not be using them again.

Insanely overpriced products, just buy a coffee machine for the office and save the money and hassle of this company, and make sure you already have a replacement machine on hand because they'll come take theirs without giving you any notice. $35 for the same box of coffee you can get at staples for $20. For what?

This company in UK doesn't care about their employees. Communication between departments is non existent. They don't pay the rate quoted for shifts or bother to sort out problems. Worst company I've ever worked for

for years our company has used IMS for our Carb Day festivities as Our vendors/Customers help invest in paying over $20,000 for a suite and Aramark is the food/beverage supplier. Every year they lack communication, professionalism, hygiene and basic math skills. We made those complaints to them numerous times and when we decided to give them a third chance they said we can not work with you any longer as your company has been rude and hostile towards our staff (FALSE). They take no accountability for anything and have now lost a huge client that spends a lot of money. I wish IMS would get rid of Aramark as they are a detriment to their establishment. Horrible company and highly recommend no one use them.

I put in a application and they set me up an interview and the night before my interview for know reason at all they sent me a text message saying I couldn't work for them for know reason

Wir hatten mal ein richtig guten Koch. Der war aber nicht lange bei den, verständlich wenn man als Koch Qualität liefern möchte. Ist Aramark der falsche Partner für ein Koch, der ordentlich Skills mitbringt aber Aramark durch minderwertige Produkte ihm ins Gefängnis sperrt. Inzwischen gehen von 10 Kollegen nur noch 3 in die Kantine aber auch nur weil sie nicht viele Möglichkeiten haben.

I am writing this regarding the management services provided by Aramark at the Priorsgate complex in Dublin, Ireland. The lack of oversight and failure to manage subcontractors is unacceptable for a global management firm.

I have been waiting since early October for a basic parking permit for a space that I own. Despite five documented requests and my service charges being fully paid, the management team has failed to ensure their subcontractor (Best Car Parks) delivers the required documentation. While the local manager has acknowledged the issue, there is zero follow-through or accountability.

As a property owner, being forced to park in my own deeded space under the constant threat of enforcement action due to management's administrative failure is a breach of service. I have now initiated a formal complaint with the Property Services Regulatory Authority (PSRA) in Ireland (License No. 001968) due to this persistent negligence.

We were looking forward to our Christmas Party at the Everton Football Club and the Hill Dickinson LLP stadium this Friday 12th December

But on 3 days notice, Aramark have emailed us kindly informing they've moved our party to Saturday!

No explanation, no calls, just an email and the expectation that trains and hotels booked and childcare arranged can all be shifted to the next day.

The lack of communication is unbelievable.

I've heard the phrase "Everton that" a few times over the years.

But it feels this time they are being let down by their suppliers.

Bei uns führt Aramark die Kantine im Betrieb. Ich habe ganz oft den Eindruck, dass mit extrem spitzem Bleistift gerechnet wird. Alle Komponenten wirken billig und sind 0815 Massenware.
Man kann es in den meisten Fällen essen, es ist aber absolut kein kulinarisches Highlight. Wie sagt man so schön :" Der Hunger treibts rein!"
Für mich stimmen dort Preis/Leistung nicht.
Was mich aber am meisten stört/aufregt, ist die unterschiedliche Portionsausgabe bei gleichem Preis. Kollegen vor mir bekamen deutlich mehr und ich bekam ne Kinderportion - wohlgemerkt bei gleichem Preis. Bei meiner Nachfrage hat man das verneint, aber optisch war der Unterschied deutlich sichtbar und das geht garnicht. Auch die Flexibilität, wenn man z.B. mehr Gemüse statt Beilage möchte, fehlt irgendwie bzw. man tut sich schwer damit. Man bekommt dann zwar weniger Beilage, aber auch nicht wirklich mehr Gemüse. Und die Fertigprodukte wie Teilchen, Kuchen, belegte Brötchen finde ich sehr teuer.
Als ich vergangenen Samstag mit meiner Mutter ins Kris. musste und ihr dort aus dem ebenfalls Aramark Automaten ein Wasser ziehen wollte, nahm der Automat zwar mein Geld, ich bekam aber kein Produkt. Unter der ServiceNr. war niemand erreichbar. Heute am Montag habe ich jemanden erreicht. Dort sagte man mir, man könne mir mein Geld nicht zurückerstatten, sondern nur ein Produkt ausgeben.
Also für mich ist Aramark der letzte Saftladen.

Avoid using Aramark for bean to cup rentals if you manage an Apartment Community. Wish I had read the reviews first. They obviously don't care with such a low rating.
