We had a fantastic stay at Villa Pan Itria. The villa itself was beautiful, exceptionally clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. The rooms were spacious and lovely, the pool was fantastic and the views were absolutely incredible. Overall, it was a really lovely place to stay.

Tonia was a wonderful host. She was so kind and helpful when we arrived, showed us around the property and made sure we understood all of the check-in instructions. She was also very helpful throughout our stay and made everything very easy for us.

We were also offered the option of having a food shop arranged for our arrival and a private chef during our stay, which we thought was a lovely additional service, although we didn’t end up taking either option.

We would definitely recommend having a rental car, as the villa is quite remote and having a car is essential for getting around and making the most of the surrounding area.

Our only frustrations were with some of the administration and payment side of the booking. There was some confusion and a lack of clarity around the payment platform, and we were initially told that we still owed money despite having actually overpaid. We had also already paid the card fees, while the booking platform itself showed that money was owed back to us. Thankfully, the company eventually agreed not to charge us anything further, but it was frustrating and took some unnecessary back and forth to resolve.

The company also kindly agreed to store deliveries for us ahead of our wedding, which was really helpful and appreciated, although in the end we didn’t need to make use of this.

There were a couple of small issues during our stay. A bedroom blind fell down on the first night, but this was dealt with very quickly and promptly, so we really appreciated the response. We were told that a welcome pack would also be provided, so it was a little disappointing to arrive and find that there wasn’t one, aside from some tea and coffee. This would have been a lovely touch, particularly after travelling to the property.

Despite these points, we had a lovely stay. The villa, pool, views and rooms were fantastic, and Tonia was a brilliant host. We would happily recommend Villa Pan Itria for a stay in Puglia.

Malgré une arrivée tardive, tonia nous a accueillis et en plus avec un grand sourire !!!
Le spot est fantastique, vacances entre amis ou en famille seront parfaites avec un grand espace de vie commune mais egalement toute l intimité necessaire
Bonne literie, aménagement idéal, rien ne manque !!
Un seul point négatif : ce n est pas chez moi …!!!!

Location à l’écart du bruit, des routes au milieu des oliviers.
Trullis rénovés et adaptés à la capacité annoncée.
L’agence nous a aidé pour notre arrivée très tardive. Merci à Tonia pour sa disponibilité en revanche nous n’avons jamais eu la verseuse de la cafetière et la clé d’une porte donnant sur l’extérieur ne nous permettant pas une fermeture totale de la maison.

TRULLO CIMI' : luogo incantevole ma....
Premesso che si tratta di una location da favola, sentiamo pero' il bisogno di evidenziare alcune criticita' che hanno in parte rovinato il nostro soggiorno. In primis va detto che esiste un problema con l'energia elettrica per cui quotidianamente ci siamo ritrovati a dover riattaccare l'elettricita' dai diversi contatori presenti nella tenuta, poichè scattavano ogni tre per due, con tutte le conseguenze del caso. Tenete presente che tutte le porte non sono dotate di chiave ma di apertura a codice alfanumerico, per cui, una volta scattata la corrente, non era piu' possibile rientrare nelle stanze, se non dopo aver fatto un check di tutti i contatori, dislocati in varie parti della proprieta'. E se dentro fosse rimasto chiuso da solo un bambino piccolo????
Altra cosa che ci ha lasciati molto perplessi è la frequente entrata nella proprieta' di un cane che vive nelle vicinanze (non controllato dal proprietario) che ci ha praticamente fatto compagnia per tutta la durata del soggiorno, solo 1 volta il padrone è venuto a riprenderlo, poi se ne è evidentemente dimenticato...noi avevamo con noi la nostra cagnolina e quindi è stato un problema...amiamo gli animali ma non ci è mai capitato di doverci occupare di uno non nostro in vacanza.
Altra cosa da segnalare il non funzionamento dell'aria condizionata nel trullo principale, per cui è stato posizionato un pinguino rumoroso, senza nessuna uscita del tubo verso l'esterno...e ancora il piatto doccia completamente rovinato e sfogliato, che rendeva la doccia stessa non tanto piacevole.
La piscina è bellissima ma non viene pulita né controllata, nemmeno a giorni alterni, per cui abbiamo dovuto fare esplicita richiesta, dopo qualche giorno, perche' l'acqua iniziava ad essere torbida, con capelli ed insetti sul fondo. Di fatto il fondo non è stato mai ripulito ma solo testata la qualità dell'acqua.
Ma la cosa che ci ha lasciato maggiormente delusi è stato il momento del check out, a cui non si è presentato nessuno, abbiamo chiesto spiegazioni via whatsapp e ci è stato scritto che era tutto ok e quanto prima ci sarebbe stato restituito il nostro deposito cauzionale di 550 euro. Ebbene, dopo piu' di 48 ore, ci è arrivata una mail di Apuliarentals in cui ci veniva notificato un danno irrisorio ad un vetro, alquanto discutibile (una scheggiatura) mai notata da noi, la cui spesa mi è stata direttamente prelevata dalla carta di credito, senza alcuna possibilità di replica o spiegazione. Prima ci comunicano che è tutto ok e poi a distanza ci addebitano un presunto danno??? Mah.....
Non credo serva aggiungere altro rispetto alla conduzione della questione, quantomeno discutibile, per cui non mi sento di consigliare un soggiorno qui, nonostante la bellezza indiscussa del luogo, poiche' le criticita' sono state davvero molte.

P.S. nelle foto dell'inserzione del trullo sul sito di Apuliarentals si vede una meravigliosa seconda vasca, annessa alla dependance...ebbene, non esiste o meglio è vuota e lasciata all'incuria più totale, ennesima delusione...

We stayed at Lamia Gia for one week and unfortunately our experience did not match the expectations created by the listing or the price.

We booked this villa specifically for the outdoor area and the pool. However, from the moment we arrived there was a severe wasp problem around the pool and terrace. There were dozens of wasps throughout the day, making it impossible to comfortably relax outside. I was even stung during our stay. Had we been travelling with young children, I cannot imagine we would have been able to use the pool or outdoor area at all.

We reported the issue immediately upon arrival. The first response was spraying it with insect sprays, followed by the gardener removing a wasp nest a few days later. Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem. The wasps remained in such numbers that we still could not comfortably use the pool or even spend time outside during the day.

In our opinion, the situation required professional pest control if it was to be resolved properly during our stay. Only towards the very end of our holiday was there some improvement, by which time most of our stay had already passed.

I understand that insects are part of nature, especially in the countryside. In fact, I had travelled to Puglia to complete the sale of my own countryside home, so I fully appreciate and and understand that nature cannot be controlled. However, I understand even more that it is the responsibility of the property owner to deal with issues that significantly affect guests' ability to use and enjoy the property. The pool and outdoor area are a key part of what guests are paying for.

During our stay we even discussed leaving early or moving to another property because we were unable to use the facilities we had booked. We were reassured by the property manager with "don't worry" and were given the impression that the situation would be handled fairly. Afterwards, the owner even acknowledged in writing that they should have taken different measures sooner.

What was most disappointing was the handling of the complaint afterwards. We paid more than €320 per night for this villa. In their emails, the owners described themselves as "deeply saddened" and "mortified" by what had happened. However, after correspondence, they ultimately offered €200 in compensation and stated that this was final. This was particularly disappointing given that they themselves acknowledged the seriousness of the situation and that earlier action should have been taken. In my opinion, €200 does not come close to reflecting the impact this had on our holiday.

This review is not intended to complain about nature. It is intended to inform future guests that, should a significant problem arise during their stay, they should also consider how that situation may be handled afterwards. If we had known it would have been invested with wasps all week we would have never booked this place and with how its been handled by Apulia rentals we won’t take the risk to book another property through this agency.

We also didnt get our deposit back until I had to chase it, which is very unprofessional and a part of a wall collapsed.

Wir waren Mai/Juni im Lamia Geko Paradise und haben leider feststellen müssen, das die Unterkunft schimmelt und einen äußerst unangenehmen Geruch hat. Alle unsere persönlichen Gegenstände haben diesen muffigen Geruch angenommen und dieser ist bis heute nicht weg.
Das Zimmer im Keller war nicht wirklich bewohnbar. Schimmel überall.
Fotos können wir als Nachweis gern liefern.
Sind eine Nacht vorher abgereist.
Haben für diese schlimme Erfahrung nur 116 Euro Nachlass insgesamt erhalten.
Die Agentur hat keinerlei Entscheidungsverfügung, sondern redet sich auf den Eigentümer raus, der angeblich nur das erstatten möchte. Kein Verantwortungsgefühl von der Seite. Wir sind mit Kindern unterwegs gewesen, eine Unverschämtheit.
Nicht erwähnt hab ich die Ameisenplage in der Küche und auch sonst Ungeziefer überall. Einziges Plus: schöne Aussenanlage mit Pool

Beautiful and well kept property with several experiences. We loved the pool weather allowing in april. We were fast in contact with Tatiana when needed.

Unfortunately the first impression from the agency was not very good, as we agreed to store the luggage in the agency, but nobody was there and we couldn't even find it. Once at the Villa our holidays startet and were beautiful. It is important to have a car to explore the nice towns and beaches. The pool was the highlight!

Helpful and highly responsive. Whenever we had a query, Tatiana came straight back with full information. Beautifully appointed villa and setting.

We rented Villa Gelso Bianco in June and loved it very much. The house is just perfect. Well equiped, very clean, lovely pool. Even some food and drinks are available upon arrival. If we would return to Puglia in the future we would definately consider renting through Apuliarentals again.

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans un trullo. Notre séjour a été parfait: l'endroit est enchanteur au milieu des oliviers, le jardin et la piscine sont magnifiques.

It was an extremely pleasant stay. The location is enchanting and offers complete privacy. The house is quiet and full of charm. The pool is fabulous and well sheltered from prying eyes. Our host Tatiana recommended the best places in the area and gave us tons of great local tips.

We stayed at beautiful Trulli Tramonto. Central location for good sightseeing. The villa was great, very clean with a beautiful pool, that had a nice shallow bit for our toddler to play in. Great hosts who were very accomodating and were very quick to answer any questions.

Great stay in Ostuni, very nice and luxury appartment. Highly recommended

È stato tutto fantastico! Siamo stati accolti con tanta gentilezza e ci siamo sentiti subito come a casa. Ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo!

What a fantastic stay! The trullis are already a hugely special experience, of course, but so are the grounds around them. What a lovely place to come “home”. The location is also very central and close to the super cute village of Locorotondo. The accommodation is immensely clean. You can just see that it is well maintained. You won't be short of anything.
