After being left 10 days with no gas supply and a terrible customer service from the call out booking team.
I was finally sent a delivery out on the 8th day .
The driver Lenny worked tiresly in awful weather conditions to try and get it fixed .
On the 10th day Flint the second delivery driver who is a credit to the company arrived and assured me the problem would be sorted on that day .
Simon Bromley the engineer was also very professional and between them finally the problem was fixed.
That said sadly I will not be staying with Calor gas due to very poor customer service I received off the booking team....

Engineer Pete Yarde arrived on time after a long drive to investigate a smell of gas. He made very thorough tests but did not find any leaks. He was polite and courteous throughout and explained all that he was doing. Well done, Pete.
The only criticism I have is not of him but the length of time between the call and arrival of the engineer.

Steve and Lee came to remove my Calor gas tank and they were fabulous!! Courteous, friendly and very efficient. The job was done withing minutes!! I would recommend these two employees to anyone. Thank you Steve and Lee!!

The team, Rich Morgan and Chris Bate, arrived on site as planned on Monday 21 October and completed the task just after lunch. Tank move and gas supply pipe renewal.
They were well equipped, experienced and professional.
It is not often I have been able to say this, but I was totally satisfied by all aspects of the work carried out.
Excellent.

Michael and Andy turned up today to change a valve and check the tank for any leeks very professional and efficient also very polite and tidy excellent job

Phil Deans (Telemetry Engineer) fitted the unit today.
He was very professional and polite and took care to explain what he was going to do.
Phil worked swiftly and efficiently and left a good impression.

I bought a gas burner from their website for a camping trip, I did not see anywhere that the item they were sending me that it was a returned item, the items box was in poor condition with ripped section that had been taped up, the unit itself was scratched and had a screw missing as the pack of screws had been opened.
If you are buying from them, beware!

Adrian Davies came to my difficult access house. We had a pleasant chat and all went well. He turned down a turn in my back area and I suggested he take my neighbour’s back yard down the hill. My other neighbour was present at his spot opposite. His truck is really too wide for our track and he decided to back the rest of the way down.
He is in no way to blame for his vehicle being too big for our track. A smaller truck for these smaller access points is a genuine suggestion. He really did very well to get away. I was only a witness to him leaving me but I saw the damage to a small section of the tarmac track as I walked down later in the afternoon. (This had been laid recently and was bedded in but the weight of the vehicle and the slight bend must have been too much)

David, Jamie and Spike arrived promptly and fully equipped to install a bulk LPG tank with associated equipment and pipework. Their communication was excellent, they respected our property and left things tidy and in very good order.

We have just had a visit from a service engineer. Our tank location is somewhat obscure. I went to it with John Rogers. He dealt with a minor metering problem, a pipe had been eaten by a squirrel!
He was throughout, great company, informative and a credit to his Company. Thank you

The driver, Ash Pryce tried to deliver at 7.30am but our gate was locked. He rang us but, due to a bad signal, was unable to contact us.
Knowing that we were very low on gas, he returned at 15.30pm and successfully delivered.
He was extremely pleasant and helpful and in our opinion, went the extra mile.

On Saturday 23rd March we reported a gas leak. The engineer Josh F. drove many miles to get to us as soon as possible. The work required took him about an hour and a half to complete, which he did in pouring rain and darkness. In dreadful conditions he was most thorough and efficient, whilst remaining cheerful and polite throughout. Andrew S.

Re previous review : Company now state they have sent us a message through trust pilot - nothing received, which doesn’t surprise me and yes we have checked our junk.

When we tried calling the company, three different advisors eventually picked up the phone to ask how they could help and then after explaining the reason for the call, every one of them dropped out of the call!

No one follows through with enquiries/complaints on line either.

Closing our account and providing a final bill is still proving impossible after 3 weeks of asking!

Delivered 04/01/2024.
Assembled and attempted to light with no success.
Emailed Calor Gas Customer Care 04/01/2024 to inform them the heater was defective.
Calor Gas responded 12/01/2024 – If repairable it will be returned with a customer courier charge. If not repairable a full refund will be given.
Returned heater to Calor Gas 19/01/2024. Calor Gas arranged return.
Calor Gas claimed the heater was in good working order, therefore it can be returned at customer shipping cost (£20).
Asked for a refund and was charged 15% handling charge + £15 DPD courier charge - £31 in total deducted from the cost of the heater.
I’ve had Calor Gas heaters since the 1970’s and I know how to operate them. This heater was flimsy, not a good quality build and was not fit for purpose.
The heater was supplied by Hamilton’s Gas Products of Bangor Northern Ireland and assessed by a independent gas inspector. No report was forwarded from the assessment.
The Calor Gas warranty states that if gas has passed through the appliance it’s a warranty issue and therefore a used item. So if you don’t think the appliance is going to be up to the job, Do Not attempt to use it , just return it.
In all the process was stressful and just not worth the hassle. It’s still very cold.
Calor Gas Customer Care I think not.
There seems to be many branches of Calor Gas, all not wanting to take any responsibility!

We had a visit from a service engineer Called Chris NB, on 15-2-24.
He was very helpful and professional, definitely a keeper.

Engineers Ash & Charlie,
Arrived at expected time, & were extremely professional & informative, despite the replacement meter being totally different, they made the required modifications & installed in a timely & safe manner, & insured boiler etc. was functioning efficiently.

Absolutely ignorant! Bought a gas burner for a trip next week arrived with parts missing, emailed them last week ignored emailed again today ignored
The item was purposely bought for next week and it will be returned to them at their cost bunch of muppets
