Registered for a sim card

Registered for a sim card. Got charged 4 days pro rata for service that did not arrive until 6 days later. Got billed for an additional sim for my wife which also arrived too late to activate as has already been billed for the next month by her supplier. So a £12.00 a month rolling contract first bill was £27.68! They refunded me the £3.68 but could not chsnge the bill for the 2nd sim as they are pre activated. Even though I had Lready paid the original provider for that month. Dissapointed

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. I’m truly sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with your experience so far.

I’ve tried to contact you to discuss your concerns and put things right, however I haven’t been able to reach you. I have also followed up with an email.

Our SIM cards are pre-activated before they are dispatched. This means they are already assigned a mobile number and are ready to be used as soon as they arrive. Because of this, the service becomes billable from the point it is activated on our system, regardless of whether the SIM has been physically received or used.

I’m also very sorry that it has taken longer than expected for your SIM card to arrive. As it is sent via Royal Mail, delivery can take up to 5 working days.

If the SIM has not yet been activated and used, it is unlikely that your number transfer has taken place. This would explain why you may still be receiving charges from your previous provider, as the service would remain active with them until the transfer is completed.

We understand how frustrating this situation is, and we will continue to assist where we can. We will also attempt to contact you again within the next 24 hours to discuss this further.

Transfer didn't go entirely as planned.
Customer Service Team were very helpful and persisted until it was sorted out.
One suggested he would phone me the next morning and did.
Easy to access team without having to fight my way through a load of automated questions.

Great Value and Excellent Network!

Really impressed with AO Mobile! Great network coverage and excellent value for money £18 for 500GB of data, with EU roaming included, is a fantastic deal.

The UK-based call centre is another big plus. I’m very pleased I made the move to AO Mobile. So far, the network has been very reliable, and I’d definitely recommend it!

Sorted eventually

Well the new sim was not sent out and had some calls to ao mobile and it was left after more calls to speak to a lovely Lady that sorted it out straight away.i had to threaten to cancel

Mobile Phone Contract

We signed up for two mobile phone contracts and the transfer from our old provider went through seamlessly. A really good value contract, including a European roaming allowance, on a 30 day rolling contract using Vodafone’s network. Perfect!

Even a technophobe can be rescued!

I found it difficult to port my SIM card on line and contacted AO Mobile help! They were amazingly quick to assist and changed it to a physical sim which arrived practically next day. The helpful agent sorted it all out and my telephone number was ported very quickly and smoothly!
Today, because technology is a closed book, I misunderstood a notice I received and completely lost the plot! I lost various apps and my App Store and totally panicked and contacted AO help again! I received the most sensible and easy to follow set of instructions for all sorts of situations on my phone from a
most thoughtful lady - so useful that they are now tucked away in Notes for future reference!!
I cannot commend this service highly enough and can thoroughly recommend AO Mobile help.
