After leaving my tablet at Istanbul Airport and locating it through Lost & Found, I contacted Fatih. From the very beginning, he offered a very competitive price and guided me through every step to recover the device. It’s not an easy process, but thanks to his help, it was recovered in record time. Once he had it, he managed the shipping and kept me updated throughout the entire process. The delivery was slightly delayed due to Spanish Customs (nothing to do with Fatih), and he even tried to help speed up the process from his side. He was always available and extremely helpful. I lost my laptop at Istanbul airport and the airport authorities were not very helpful to help return my computer to me although they were able to find it relatively quickly, I would say. Fatih and his crew at istanbullostandfound.com were amazing throughout the process of filing the paperwork to retrieve it from customs, including the POA needed, and even have it translated in Turkish. They made the process very easy and remaining in constant communication with me throughout the process. I got in touch with them on a Sunday! They are really available 24/7. The cost to get the laptop back to me in the US was very reasonable. The initial quote remained firm and I even had the cost reduced because the initial quote was higher than what they had expected. They seem to be very honest. I am very pleased with their service and would not hesitate to recommend them very highly for their prompt and reliable service.

I contacted them, filled out some forms, and signed a Power of Attorney letter. These guys collected my laptop from the Lost and Found department of the airport and sent it to my address in Canada. UNBELIEVABLE!

I found this company through a Google search after doing the unthinkable—losing not one, but two phones in the Istanbul airport. I emailed 17 different couriers, and Fatih was the first to respond. It was immediately clear he was the right person for the job.

I had a ton of questions and concerns, and Fatih answered every one of them quickly and clearly. The process for retrieving items from the airport’s Lost and Found is incredibly tedious, confusing, and slow, but Fatih guided me through every step and made it as simple as possible. Here’s the background. I accidentally left my phone on a Turkish Airlines flight during a layover in Istanbul on my way from New York to Saudi Arabia. The phone was located by Lost and Found, but retrieving it turned out to be far more complicated than I expected. Despite having my credit cards, driver’s license with photo ID, and even photos of the phone with its very distinctive case, I was told I needed a notarized power of attorney to authorize pickup.
