They will only refund the very first payment you make to them so if you use the service for multiple years and change your mind as the next years charge is pending they say they won't do anything about it.

I found anara thro an endless stream of sponsored TikTok posts, so I gave a look. Big mistake.
Their ads promise way more than what it does. Unreliable engine, weak experience, and data privacy concerns. It's ad-driven. Not product-driven. Maybe spend some money on your product team instead of your marketing. 🤷🏻‍♂️
And pls tone down the ads. If the product were stronger, it wouldn't need to chase ppl this hard.

Anara is an absolutely scam! Terrible customer service and will take your money without any notice. PLEASE don't get it!! They are terrible.

Anara swallowed $200 from my pocket in one second, in one clic, don’t deal with them please.

I was tempted by Anara for my research articles. Please, stay away, they are thieves. When my time limit to have my academic article reviewed ended in 5 minutes, Anara offered me a package that I could supposedly pay $8 per month. I accepted, and suddenly $200 were withdrawn. I received a call from my bank, I was shocked. Canceling was impossible; the only solution I had was to block my credit card.

On the other hand, nothing changes whether you pay or are on a trial. After paying, and especially after Anara had my money, I downloaded my 20-page document. Not only were they incapable of making the necessary corrections or fixing a few mistakes, but they also informed me after just 5 minutes that my time was up and that I would have to come back 24 hours later.

The customer service is appalling and they have no empathy nor concern in regards to refunding your subscription. Moreover contacting the founder does nothing which shows their sole interest in money and profit only. Dispute with your bank to make sure you get your money back!

Genuinely terrible. The models can’t seem to read uploaded documents properly, and can’t seem to follow basic instructions while writing as well. The chats have extremely poor memory, keep needing to repeat basic instructions again and again. Absolutely not worth the payment, much worse than even the free version of other LLM’s.

i've been using anara for over 6 months now and it's been one of the best ai apps. not only it found a lot of papers for my thesis, but also explained them to me, and provided citations. i think it saved me over 50% of the time that i would do this manual research myself.

BE CAREFUL - THEY GET MONEY OFF YOU EVEN AFTER YOU CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION. I cancelled my subscription on the 24/09/25 after two months of use, and (after was asked to keep my membership for a discount - which i ignored) I was satisfied as it looked like the cancellation went through. However, a couple of days later (27/09/2025) money for the subscription were taken from my account.

When I contacted support about this I was told that only the first payment can be refunded (if the request is made within 7 days). Also they said they had “no record of my deleted subscription” and I am 100% sure that went through as I went on the website specifically to delete my membership. They said that they have now proceeded to cancel my membership, however I have received no confirmation email of this happening. The support has no interest in refunding my money.

This is shady behaviour at best, and fraudulent activity at worst. I am now attempting to get my money back from my bank.

Do not use! absolutely appalling customer service and inadequate, don't fall for others recommendations. This is not user friendly either

Its a bad app. Plain and simple, it's got strong advertisement behind it but it is just a weak version of already accessible LLM's. All its features are hidden behind a paywall (not even a trial version so you know not to buy it), even with the subscription it only allows an upload of 15 articles and its intelligence in using the information from those articles is bad. Its adobe AI but for a price. DON'T WASTE MONEY ON IT.

I signed up for Anara (previously Unriddle) and paid for a subscription. A few weeks later, the site became completely inaccessible – I couldn’t log in, and every time I tried, I got an error. I reached out to their support team multiple times without any response.

Eventually, I found out on my own that they had quietly switched domain names, from anara.so to anara.com – but I was never informed, and the new site also didn’t work for me at the time.

I’ve now explained this to their team, provided screenshots, and forwarded the original emails I sent while the issue was happening. Their response? “Sorry, we can’t offer a refund because it’s been more than 7 days since your payment.”

That might make sense if I had actually been able to use the service. But I paid for a product that was effectively unavailable for the majority of the time – and they refuse to take responsibility.

Really disappointing customer support and a lack of transparency. I can’t recommend this product based on my experience.
