Not fit for purpose. Incredibly poor return policy. A very, very bad experience with a company that's just not that bothered.
If you buy a 4 seat sofa/lounger, you expect it to function as a 4 seat sofa/lounger as that's what it is pretending to be, but these ones won't. Unless of course you expect it to compress until you are sitting 10 inches off the ground within 3-4 months. The company website seems to think it will take a year, but their special pellets don't last long. The company knows it's a problem and asks you to accept it as normal, even giving you some top up pellets when this happens for the first time, but it will happen again and again over the life of your couch/lounger as you will most likely be using it every day. This will cost you £42 per bag, and the 4 seater will use that up in one top up, which you will probably need to do 3 times a year. Misleading? I think so. Expensive and unreasonable upkeep? I think so.
The company will say it is to be expected as it's "soft furniture" and not a couch/sofa at all, even though it is designed to do the same job. It does not, not even close.
I thought when I bought this, their specially formulated filler was different than regular old foam pellets, and it would work. I was wrong. There are 2 comfort modes; super firm when new/freshly topped up and floppy, sitting near the floor, difficult to stand up, needing to kick and fluff it back up EVERY SINGLE TIME you go to sit on it, after 3-4 months.
The return policy.
You have 2 weeks and it must not be used. That's tricky when it's a 4 seat sofa/lounger. How is 2 weeks, unused going to tell you how bad the filling is or how it will perform 3 months from then? If I was using it outside of it's intended purpose, I would understand a reluctance to refund, but it does not do what it is designed to do. It is not fit for purpose!
Consumer Protection and Trades Description will also be hearing from me as I feel they are getting this wrong.
The customer service team will write you nice, reasonably toned emails BTW, but at the end of the day, you were a fool to have bought a product so unfit for its intended purpose and you should have realized this as soon as it arrived at your door, certainly before the plastic wrap came off.

Quality is amazing, and really good bang for your buck - got a pet bed for my little pup too and he adores it. Visited their Huntingdale showroom and Grant is an absolutely legend in helping out

Wir haben das wundervolle Set Erstausstattung Welpen Essentials Pack. Wir sind mit dem Bett besonders zufrieden. Es ist schön groß und bequem. Es wird nicht nur gerne von den Hunden angenommen. Die Qualität ist auch top. Es ist wirklich jeden Cent wert.

Mon chien adore sont lit il a des petit souci d'arthrose il aime bien se coucher dedans vu qu'il est tous doux et qu'il s'adapte bien a son corps avec les petites billes dedans et la housse que l'on peux enlever pour la laver c'est top

Meine drei Windhunde lieben diese Betten. Sie liegen gut isoliert, bequem und erhöht um stets alles um sie herum im Auge zu haben. Die Betten sind sehr wertig und langlebig verarbeitet und in ihrer Handhabung & Pflege benutzerfreundlich durchdacht. Ich habe bisher nichts Besseres gefunden. Die Betten sind inzwischen 4 Jahre alt und nur der auswechselbare obere Bezugsstoff zeigt nach mehrmaligem Waschen inzwischen leichte Abnutzungserscheinungen.

Gerne schreibe ich eine positive Bewertung über das Ambient Lounge Hunde-Bett in mittlerer Größe.

Dieses Bett ist wirklich großartig und ich bin begeistert von der Qualität und dem Design. Das Material fühlt sich sehr weich und gemütlich an, sodass sich mein Hund sofort wohl darin fühlt. Der Bezug ist leicht abnehmbar und waschbar, was sehr praktisch ist.

I am so pleased with my loungers. They are gorgeous and super comfy. They are such a big hit in my home, I never get to sit on them. My children have claimed them for watching movies and gaming. Everyone that comes to our home asks where they are from. I can’t wait to use them in the garden. Great buy!

this is a bad company for customer service. the low life clowns that they use as a courier dpd are even worse. I have waited 3 days and no delivery although it is promised. I am going to take legal advice soonest.

I bought the L shaped sofa ambient lounge claim it was completely my order and not made up from cancelled orders or returns I disagree all components with different shapes and sizes and it looks like a dogs breakfast nothing like what is shown on there website. It’s lumpy bumpy and the most uncomfortable thing to sit on if you try lying down on it is uneven. So between poor customer service plus misleading information on website about comfort design. I have had to cancel all visitors as I would be ashamed to have any visitors attempt to sit on this nasty piece if furniture that I regret deeply in buying false advertising on comfort made to order not in my case.
If this was tested prior to being dispatched there is no way the a reputable company would have allowed the sofa to be dispatched in this way.

The company have removed any way to write comments on both Facebook and Instagram plus members of their own staff have written reviews here on trust pilot which I find rather alarming.

Update 22nd July 2023 They have refused point blank to communicate with me blocked me on Instagram and Facebook they are not a company to be trusted as I have pointed out to them .
UNDER the CONSUMER RIGHTS ACT 2015 which they have violated by not responding or rectifying my issues as the sofa was not as described or fit for purpose they sent me filling to resolve the issues - sign of guilt of failure at there end to sending out damaged items 2 inner sections with holes in no wonder it is not comfortable I am pursuing them via legal means so as well as value of item compensation and legal fees will also apply, so my advice is do not shop with them.

I am in love with my ambient lounge sofa. i ordered a luscious grey mod 6 with their new soluxe filling for my cinema room and it looks amazing! i am so happy with the quality of the fabric and it is a beautiful shape. The best thing about it is you can easily unzip and move around as it is so lightweight! ( Great when sibling don't like each other)

I love my ambient lounge bean bags! I have Butterfly Sofas in Sakura Pink and Crimson Vibe in 3yrs now but still look great up til' now! Great fabric! The indoor butterfly sofa really perfect on my bedroom and the outdoor one really nice on my Garden! Great customer service too. Will highly recommend this brand!

Ambient lounge were great to deal with - hats off to Chelsea for her customer service. Got a pair of outdoor Sunbrella fabric Butterfly Sofas (then bought ottomans afterwards). They took their time explaining how to clean and that i can leave outside. They also got them pre-filled for me because i didn't want to fill them myself. Have been brilliant (my neighbors also ended up getting some)

I have had this dog bed just under 2 year when the first cover zip broke xxl dog bed and now the second cover zip has broken. It was bought for my hard working assistance dog. The company have decided either I have broken the zip or my assistance dog has chewed it and offered a poor 20 % off another bed cover why would I want 20 % a cover that won’t last, these beds a aren’t cheap and I would expect it to last. Stay away and buy from someone else Custer service is diabolical!

Got two large cappuccino dog beds for my golden retriever & Australian shep.

Thought I had found the perfect bed for my dog, but which was unfortunately out of stock. So I called to find out when it was likely to be available and was told to email the address on the website.
OK. Did that.
Three days later, no response. Called up and was again told to email in.
I didn't bother
If its this hard to try to SPEND money with them, I can only imagine what aftercare is like. Oh wait! I don't... just need to read the other reviews for this company.
The business should at the very least train their staff to
1. Call potential customers back and
2. Cross or Upsell if what the customer wants isn't available!
So basic.

Ich habe ein Hundebett für meinen labrador Welpen bestellt,nach einigen Fehlkauf habe ich endlich ein Bett was meinem Sonnenschein liebt und ich sehr zufrieden bin.Der Kundenservice ist 1A ich persönlich habe noch nie so eine nette kompetente schnelle Beratung und Hilfestellung erleben dürfen Deshalb ein riesengroßes Dankeschön...ich empfehle jedem Hundebesitzer sich die Hundebetten mal anzuschauen oder zu bestellen Top Betten

Das Hundebett war viel zu hart. Das Produkt entsprach überhaupt nicht den Erwartungen, weshalb ich es zurückgeschickt habe.
Achtung Versandkosten werden nicht erstattet! Unternehmen weigert sich die Hinsendekosten bei Widerruf zu erstatten, weil es kein deutsches Unternehmen ist.
Nie wieder werde ich dort bestellen!
PS: Patzige Antworten gibt's übrigens inklusive!

Super nette Beratung!! Würde in der angegebenen Zeit geliefert. Super Verarbeitung und Qualität, einfach zu befüllen. Ich habe 4 Betten für meine 4 Ridgebacks und sie lieben es..
Werde noch 2 kaufen...
