I have been with Amazon prime for a number of years and always had a good experience but lately it’s been terrible. I’ve had orders cancelled 2 stops away. I have ordered and it’s said will be here the next day 3 days later never arrived. I order a lot from Amazon that’s is why I pay for prime. Now I am seriously thinking of cancelling my prime. I had to cancel my last order has it was never going to arrived has the date had been changed 3 time

The delivery instructions were not followed at all. I opened the building door for the driver through the intercom, but instead of bringing the parcel to my flat door as requested, they forced it halfway into the communal mailbox, leaving it sticking out exactly as shown in the picture. Anyone could have taken it or it could have fallen out. Very careless and unprofessional delivery. This is not the first time instructions have been ignored, and it’s really disappointing.
This is, I don't know how many times I made a complaint regarding delivery!

This experience with Amazon has been unacceptable.

My order has been missing since Sunday. Despite contacting Amazon daily, I am repeatedly passed between agents, made to explain the situation from the beginning each time, and told to call back again the next day. There is no ownership of the issue and no meaningful progress.

Amazon has refused to issue a refund or a replacement for an item that has not been delivered. Under Section 28 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be delivered within the agreed time, and if delivery fails, the retailer is responsible and must provide a refund or replacement. Customers should not be left out of pocket while a company delays action.

For a company of Amazon’s size and reputation, this level of customer service is unacceptable. A missing delivery should be resolved promptly and in line with UK consumer law, not prolonged with repeated contact and no outcome.

Due to the lack of resolution, I am now forced to escalate this matter further.

Amazon messaged my phone to say that access was being requested by a new device. I denied the access request and logged on to my Amazon account to find the 2x £50 gift vouchers had been purchased. I started a support chat and during the chat noticed that a 3rd £50 voucher had just been purchased by my account. I told the operator who said they were unable to do anything for 48 hours. No help or any advice offered. It took me an hour to delete my debit card, sign out of all devices and change password.
I am 72, unfamiliar with technology and am completely stressed, now worried if my bank account has been compromised.
A terrible experience!

Normally I have no trouble with Amazon, but I ordered a Vacuum Cleaner with specific instructions that it was to be left in the Garage.
It was left outside the Garage in pouring rain, and in the suppliers cardboard box, with a picture of a vacuum cleaner on it. Fortunately, it wasn't stolen, but the box was sodden, and fell apart when I attempted to pick it up. 1/10

Made an order which was on special offer. Thought it was a really good deal. Too good to be true because the seller kept saying sorry about the delay on delivery. Eventually they cancelled the order without explanation. But they still sell the product on amazon. Trying to contact them is so hard. Amazon is no help at all. And I am a prime member. Amazon make it difficult to make a complaint or even enquire about anything.

Keep taking my parcel out in the van but don't deliver 6 days Now !!! Tracked you one day 1/2 mile from my house (8 stops away) but still didn't arrive....Useless

Amazon are getting worst. They’ve over charged me on orders, cancelled orders without informing and their customer service is appalling. I’ve been cut of twice. Don’t use Amazon.

Delivery reliabilty is now beyond a joke --They send you a delivery time slot but they seem to be unable to keep to the given time slot. The worse part is all the web site says "Still arriving today"
Why offer tracking when they seem unable to stick to it

I ordered 'Lazarus: The Second Coming of David Bowie' for delivery on 2 January and receiving a message that it had been delivered at 8.53 pm that evening.

This afternoon I collected the package only to find that it was nothing more than an empty A3 envelope.

The packaging hadn't been tampered with and the A3 envelope was completely flat and had clearly never had anything placed inside it.

The address label is stuck on at an angle and the flap has been stuck down over the top corner of the label.

The weight is shown as 0.66 Kgs

I contacted Customer Services but they were no help at all and the bot kept showing that the package had been delivered. The package isn't the problem, the missing book is.

Anybody else had this happen with their orders?

Is this Amazon not being able to fulfil my order but sending empty packaging anyway so that their stats will record a delivery on 2 January as promised?

Seems very dodgy.

I've ordered a product from Amazon UK that was advertised and sold as new. When it arrived, the item was visibly damaged and labelled as returned stock.

More concerningly, the packaging contained a label showing another customer’s full name and home address, originating from a different Amazon marketplace.

This meant I was unintentionally given access to someone else’s personal data, which is deeply worrying and unacceptable from a company of this size.

I have raised this formally with Amazon and reported it to the relevant data-protection authorities. This experience has seriously undermined my confidence in Amazon’s quality control and data-handling standards.

One star because this should never happen.

You will not going to believe what I’m going to say, AMAZON as failed again to deliver another parcel three day on going with three different parcels it’s unbelievable it’s time these absolute drivers where accountable for there actions as they keep giving customers the hassle by not delivering.

And the seller is so easy to push it back to me and amazon.
This was delivered at the wrong address and with 4 apartment blocks o have asked everyone and because this was left in a corridor anyone could have taken it.
So i paid for something and never received it. And i feel until i have received it its the sellers and amazons problem to resolve not me to run around for. I paid and have nothing.

Received a faulty two door wooden unit, seller tried everything not to collect and return,then said they would pick up on the 22/12/25 then changed to 23/12/25 and sent a refund label which was a false one from parcelforce 48 hour,NO one came to collect and stopped in from 8/8.Called Amazon on the 24/12/25 talked to 3 people and a manger for 4 hours and was told to give them other chance 😂😂😂 this wasn't a small item and had to get a neighbour to help take it out and back in again because am disabled,AMAZON could not care one bit.They read all the messages but made no difference at all.They seem to allow scam companies on but don't care when you tell them,it was all in the Amazon messaged for them to read. AMAZON please don't read this and say PM use , after 4 hours on the phone that won't make a difference.

dissatisfaction with the delivery service, they leave items downstairs in block of flat, & quite often - OUTSIDE!! Even £67 0f clothes were stolen. They dont read my delivery instructions, & if I complain NOTHING happens.
problems with product quality, receiving substandard items, or used when shold be new.

Ordered numerous items and paid for next day delivery, none arrived as paid for. One item was the wrong item ie wrong colour sent. Item sent returned, new item ordered and again wrong colour sent, item returned for s full refund. I’ve had it now with this company, no more ordered from me.

I’ve ordered from Amazon many times and the service has always been excellent. Deliveries are reliable, usually on time, and the return process is quick and hassle-free. Customer service is genuinely helpful whenever needed.

As a new mother, I’ve become quite dependent on Amazon—it’s honestly been a companion during this phase. Having everything delivered easily and reliably has made life so much easier. I trust Amazon and highly recommend it.

Received wrong item, item was sent without box or instruction or manual, the item was sent loose in a box with small screwdriver? Added to this on checking I found that I had been charged the wrong price, when I looked again price had changed to £62.,00 when i bought it 7 days ago, it was priced at £99.00 which I paid. When I looked at the price history it did not show previous price of £99.00 (I have the invoice from Amazon to show the price difference showing I had been scammed out of £37 by them). My main reason for returning the item was that I had been sent wrong product without a box or instruction manual and a loose random scewdriver, it was only after this that I re checked the item I bought noticed the difference in price. All this highlights the one of the many things that is wrong with Amazon it is their involvement and selling for 3rd party sellers. There are many reason I do not recommend using Amazon better to go into local town, keep money in the UK not the USA, or find reputable UK outlets on internet. After all Amazon is just a 3rd 4th party seller, a "middle man" Amazon do not make anything other than money by profiteering. By using Amazon you pay the price for poor substandard products and sevices.
