Don't trust Amazon. They are impossible to get hold of. They've been debiting me $10 a month for years, I have tried every way to get stop it and it continues. Sooooo bad. Don't sign up for the Prime or trials, that's where you get caught.
Failed to ship goods and resolve issues
Failed to ship goods even though in stock for 3 weeks already. Outsourced customer service is of little to no assistance, and has no tools to assist or compensate. And try and make a formal complaint or find an email address to write to is near impossible.

Waste of time, I made an order, they asked unreasonable documents to prove that the card in my name is mine... after 4 attempts i gave up... during the wile, doing exactly the same i did all my shopping on Ebay and Aliexpress... I really don't know why Amazon exist.. you pay more for a worst service
Amazon Australia review
I ordered computer parts for a my personal computer and a clients computer I had ordered and paid for this on my parents account, Amazon said on Thursday night I would get friday between 9am-12pm according to delivery instructions, I got to my parents place there was no package at the front door & no photo for proof of delivery.
Package 1 was not delivered AT ALL 2nd package was supposed to be delivered on Saturday, I got the satchel but nothing was in the satchel and very poor photo as proof, although I got a refund it took 5 days of calling to initiate the refunds, Amazon Australia would not provide me my invoice for my items I had bought.
Amazon Australia said it would 48-72 hours to get the receipts from the sellers on my behalf not happy what so ever. Amazon Australia claimed their delivery drivers scan packages while it still on the road & Amazon Australia delivery drivers mark parcel/satchel as delivered when it has not been, Amazon Australia claimed this to human error and got delivered someone else.
I DONT BELIEVE THIS & I FIND IT VERY HARD TO BELIEVE THIS EXCUSE THEY HAVE GIVEN ME, THIS IS CLEARLY THEFT, Amazon Australia drivers are going through people packages stealing items and marking deliver is made with no photos as proof. Amazon has the technology to keep track of parcels but choose not to take responsibility of theft the drivers do and I am not the only person has put bad reviews about Amazon Australia and I wont be the last.
Amazon pushes there prime subscription on there consumers for free deliver and for next day delivery and that is an entire lie, this delivery method Amazon Australia provides is Physical and online scam to there consumers, I have reported Amazon to the NSW Fair Trading as well as to the ACCC for investigations.
I recommend anyone that has been through this in the past and recent REPORT TO YOUR LOCAL STATE FAIR TRADING SERVICES & TO THE ACCC & BOYCOTT AMAZON SERVICES - APPS, WEBSITE & PRIME SUBSCRIPTIONS.
Dont sell on Amazon…
With over 20 emails back and forth with amazon australia seller central for MONTHS and yet they could not sort out such a basic problem on their part.All they did was send the same email out over 20 times even when i asked for review of case number so so many times.Months of lost income because they are so unprofessional and staff won"t do their job.Closed account with them and put into Kogan straight away no problems at all.

Can't change email
I've just wasted 2:20 attempting to change an email address. Should be simple right? WRONG!!!
The system seems to reject my neww email address as they do not send an OYP (one time password) so I am unable to continue with the change.
Meanwhile, with TrustPilot I received my OTP to register my account in under 5 seconds.
And still waiting for Amazon. I'm wondering why I bother...
Amazon Australia Ignores Its Own Policies – A Disgraceful Experi
Amazon Australia has proven to be one of the worst companies when it comes to customer service and enforcing its own policies. I have been dealing with an ongoing issue regarding a purchase I made on their platform, and their complete failure to resolve it has been infuriating.
1. Seller Violating Amazon’s Policies, and They Do Nothing
I purchased a worm farm composter (Order #250-4801025-8959812) and requested a basic invoice – something that should be automatically provided. The seller ignored every request, and despite Amazon’s own A-to-Z Guarantee, they refused to take responsibility or enforce their policies.
2. Amazon Customer Support is Useless
I contacted Amazon support multiple times, and instead of helping, they kept extending deadlines and making excuses. Even after Amazon reached out to the seller, they failed to act. It’s clear that Amazon doesn’t care about enforcing its own rules, leaving customers frustrated and powerless.
3. Avoid Amazon Australia – They Don’t Protect Buyers
If Amazon refuses to hold sellers accountable, what’s the point of their policies? They take your money instantly, but when you need help, they disappear. Their A-to-Z Guarantee is meaningless, and their support team is completely incompetent.
I will be reporting them to Consumer Affairs Victoria for failing to protect customers and uphold basic consumer rights. Amazon Australia is a disgrace, and I strongly warn everyone to avoid them whenever possible.
Paid an EXTRA $20 for express shipping…
Paid an EXTRA $20 for express shipping they took 8 days to process my order and it’s still sitting in China on the 9th day with a 3 week delivery timeframe 😡 certainly NOT WORTH an extra $20 and don’t get me started on the false advertising deceiving you into thinking your item is coming from an Australian warehouse because it’s NOT. I won’t ever shop with Amazon again because they allow sellers to be deceitful in the advertising and if you report a seller then Amazon scrubs out your report and says it’s not the sellers fault 🙄 maybe the kickbacks that Amazon gets from sellers is way to high and the thought of reprimanding sellers will make them lose their kickbacks is possibly to much for them.
Drivers do not follow delivery…
Drivers do not follow delivery instructions, competitive prices is a lie more like comparative no lower prices then physical stores. Customer service is 95% of the time all you get. Granted they are very friendly but not local. They break promises and Amazon Prime movies etc force trash ads on prime members which is nothing more then greed. Out of 3 and 1/4 years only 5 ppl followed the delivery instructions out of hundreds of orders. Been a member from 2018. Use to love how Amazon owned other businesses with way better prices but are no different then all others now. A shame.
Terrible customer service
My order was left outside a busy office the delivery drive did not follow delivery instructions and my order was pinched no offer of replacement or refund, the customer service is none existent at Amazon.

Supposed delivery by the GPO. Today 24th February received an email from Amazon saying that they have refunded the cost of these two items that I returned. I don't know how I did that when I never received them. I am a Prime member and was given a delivery of two days after the date I made the order this was changed by Amazon This delivery date was moved by Amazon to the day after the original date given. As a pensioner I do quite a lot of buying through Amazon for convenience.

Amazon allowed me to close my account with incomplete orders supplied? Wow. Even ebay stops the closure until all current purchases have been fulfilled?
It is prime that I'm most concerned with having unviewed movies still on the list. Thinking I have purchased movies without an account previous (?) that I would retain the ability to finish viewing these. Obviously got that wrong. So many ways to never see your hard earned again on this site?
Our government is ludicrous in letting unfettered sales being available in Australia. How hard is it to simply apply consumer laws directly to these operators on the internet? Does anyone know what they are being paid to do?

I tried to buy a product online and had no issues ordering it. But 2 minutes later they flagged my account and I have to provide documentation that my credit card is mine. However they want documentation which does not exist in my country and they don't have a way for me to cancel the order of contact them in any way. Absolute shitshow.
POOR SERVICE!
Ordered a product from them as I paid for Prime and it said would be delivered next day which is today. Now it is saying not coming until tomorrow! Bit late and useless to me now as I am leaving on holiday trip early in morning and now I don't have item I needed! Why am I even paying for Prime???? Absolute joke!!! Won't trust them again!
Delivery Issues bs
Delivery, Amazon do you pay your deli ery people if there is a delivery issue and they have to re-deliver? There is your problem, they are doubling up and getting you a bad delivery record. Stop letting the delivery guys say delivery issue. I have been in a position several times waiting for the item and then the notification. Wake up Amazon there is no delivery issue most of the time!
