had a very disappointing experience with Amazon. My order was not delivered as promised, which was already frustrating. When I contacted customer service to resolve the issue, the support I received was unhelpful and unprofessional. Ahmed, the representative I spoke with, was particularly rude.

I have neither received my order nor my refund, which is unacceptable. If the order cannot be delivered, I expect a refund without further delays. Customers’ time should be respected, and this process has been unnecessarily time-consuming and frustrating.

Additionally, instead of offering a proper solution, I was told I could go ahead and leave a Google review, which reflects poorly on the level of customer care provided.

I expect better reliability and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience has significantly affected my trust, and I will not be ordering again.

Bad Experince

Bad tec support they take subscripe for amazon prim and not get the service and when i want cancel it its not showing in the app so i try to contact them but i cant 3 month take the mony from me even i remove my account and my card but still take over and over very bad experince

I am noticing a significant drop in…

I am noticing a significant drop in quality of service lately.On requesting a return, I am getting pick up dates up to 3-4 weeks . This was never the case . Today received a totally wrong item. Trying to call customer service several times but no answer ! Seriously considering stopping Amazon usage.

PERFECT

Using Amazon for already 3 years since I moved to UAE and can express my feeling with only one word - perfect!
Good discounts, fast and good delivery (Without damage), always friendly customer care agents and billions of items for good price.
Of course, sometimes you might face to receiving not original items, even if they are being sold as a price of original, but returns are always available and customer care agent will help always.

All my cat supplies, electronics, home supplies and a lot other stuff are weekly being delivered by Amazon.

Thanks for your work guys and being good at all!

Amazon.ae charged me twice, canceled my order twice, forced intrusive verification, and still hasn’t refunded the protection plan

I am reporting a serious and unresolved issue with Amazon.ae regarding my canceled order 402‑3016589‑5345102.

I placed an order for a TV and a 1‑year protection plan. The payment was processed normally, but immediately after checkout, Amazon’s system forced me into an unexpected and intrusive identity verification process (EID scan, video verification, etc.). I completed every step exactly as requested.

Despite this, the system canceled my order, and then—without any action or approval from me—charged my credit card a second time. This was a real debit, not a temporary authorization.

The order was then canceled a second time, again without any explanation.

I eventually received the refund for the TV, but the protection plan has not been refunded, even though it was canceled at the same time. This is unacceptable, as both items were part of the same transaction and were canceled by Amazon’s system, not by me.

The only communication I received was an automated message from a noreply address stating that my account review had a “positive outcome” and that I could place a new order. This message does not address any of the actual issues:
• the unauthorized second charge,
• the missing refund,
• the double cancellation,
• or the intrusive verification that led nowhere.

I am left with no explanation for why Amazon charged me twice, canceled my order twice, and failed to refund the protection plan. I also have no guarantee that my account will not be blocked or restricted again if I attempt to reorder the same item.

I am requesting:
• the immediate refund of the protection plan,
• a written explanation for the unauthorized second charge,
• a clear justification for the repeated cancellations despite full identity verification,
• and confirmation that my account is stable and will not be restricted again.

This situation is far below the standards expected from a company of Amazon’s size, and I hope it will be addressed promptly and transparently.

1) A refund was announced, but it has still not been credited to my account.
2) Is it normal to cancel (without any explanation) the sale of a TV without including the associated 1-year extended warranty?
3) Is it normal that I have to spend 4 days and exchange more than 30 emails just to request a refund? Business practice or scam?
4) By delaying the refund, Amazon is effectively using its customers’ money to improve its own cash flow. Shame on Amazon.ae !

للأسف أصبح من أسوأ أماكن التسوق بالنسبة لي. تعرضت لموقف غير مقبول نهائيًا. قمت بعمل طلب بقيمة 177 درهم، والسائق لم يتمكن من الوصول رغم محاولتي شرح العنوان هاتفيًا، ثم قرر إلغاء الطلب.

تفهمت الموقف وطلبت فقط استرجاع المبلغ لأتمكن من إعادة الطلب، لكن لم يتم بدء أي إجراء لاسترجاع المبلغ. تواصلت مع خدمة العملاء أكثر من 8 مرات، وفي كل مرة أنتظر على الخط حوالي 40–50 دقيقة، مع وعود متكررة دون تنفيذ.

طلبت تحويل المبلغ إلى Gift Card وتم إبلاغي أنه غير ممكن، ثم في اتصال لاحق قيل إنه ممكن ولكن بمبلغ 150 درهم فقط وليس 177! وتم طلبي بالاتصال مرة أخرى بخصوص الفرق، وكأن العميل يطالب بشيء ليس من حقه.

التجربة كانت مرهقة نفسيًا، واستنزاف للوقت والطاقة، مع غياب الوضوح والمصداقية.فشل وعدم احترام ومخالفه القانون واستغلال بشكل مباشر أتمنى تحسين آلية استرجاع الأموال واحترام وقت العملاء
I am extremely disappointed with this experience. I placed an order worth 177 AED. The driver failed to locate the address despite my attempts to clearly explain it over the phone, and the order was cancelled.

I accepted the cancellation and simply expected a prompt refund so I could reorder the items. However, no refund was initiated. I contacted customer service more than eight times, and each call involved waiting 40–50 minutes with repeated promises and no action taken.

I requested the refund to be issued as a gift card and was told it was not possible. In a later call, I was suddenly told it was possible — but only for 150 AED instead of the full 177 AED. I was then asked to call again regarding the remaining balance. This is completely unacceptable. Customers should not have to chase their own money as if they are asking for a favor.

The lack of consistency, accountability, and respect for customers’ time is alarming. This experience has been exhausting and deeply frustrating. I expect transparency and full responsibility when it comes to handling customers’ payments.

The worst customer service ever . Scam

The worst customer service ever .. when you place the order it says that it will be delivered tomorrow , then the next day you receive a notification that your item has been delivered .. you check the whole house still you can’t find anything .. then if you try find a phone number for customer service still you won’t find it then you will go through the app to contact them .. the only way is to choose the option that says clearly (( your item is delivered but you didn’t receive it !! .. you will find a date for three days later to receive it)) what is the point if they say order now and get it tomorrow or even paying for amazon prime .. what a scam .. you can’t refund you can’t return you can’t do anything thing .. it suppose to be delivered tow days earlier .. but there’s no way to contact anyone

They are worst and even i believe they…

They are worst and even i believe they are involved in fraud and scams by leaking your card information.
My card was misused at amazon, scammer ordered using my card, i reported within 5 hours, and they amazingly replied that good is in transit, i requested to freeze the delivery as i shared the proof that its a fraud but they refused.
They are involved in scamming and frauds.

Be careful when shopping on AMAZON NOW

This review is specifically for AMAZON NOW Market, and I wish to give it ZERO star. While their prices may appear lower than other local markets, my experience suggests there is a trade-off. On two separate occasions, when I ordered multiple units of the same product, one of the items arrived either damaged or expired.
The first time, I ordered three cartons of organic milk and received one carton in a damaged container. At that time, the return was approved. However, the second time I again ordered three cartons of organic milk, and one of them had been expired for more than a month.
I contacted customer service—not to request a refund, but to raise a serious concern about quality control and consumer safety. I was told the item is classified as non-returnable and that photo evidence was required before any refund could be processed within three days. I provided all requested documentation and clearly stated that my main concern was the potential health risk of distributing expired products. More than week passed, and no one followed up with me.
Based on my experience, I advise customers to be cautious, particularly when ordering perishable food items. Proper storage, expiration monitoring, and responsive customer service are critical when it comes to products that directly affect consumer health.

Catastrophic experience – automatic refunds, blocked funds, zero accountability

I’ve never experienced something this dysfunctional from a company of this size.

I attempted to place the same order THREE TIMES.
Each time, Amazon automatically cancelled it and refunded the payment without any clear explanation.

Result:

– Over 10,000 AED temporarily blocked
– Several days of lost work
– Essential professional equipment never delivered
– Multiple calls with customer support leading nowhere
– No proactive solution offered

What makes this worse: after escalation, Amazon admitted the cancellation was made “in error” and claimed corrective steps were taken — yet I was still left dealing with frozen funds and uncertainty.

Frontline support agents are powerless. They repeat scripts. Supervisors are extremely hard to reach. There is zero ownership of the problem.

If you are a professional or business owner relying on timely delivery: be careful. Their internal anti-fraud system can randomly destroy your workflow, and nobody will take responsibility.

This is not a minor inconvenience — this directly impacted my business operations.

Massive company. Amateur processes.

I strongly recommend avoiding Amazon UAE for any high-value or time-sensitive purchases.

I want to give feedback about an Amazon…

I want to give feedback about an Amazon delivery associate who delivers to my building.

The delivery person’s behavior is very rude and unprofessional. They do not provide proper delivery details and speak in a disrespectful manner. This behavior made me feel uncomfortable, even though there was no issue with the delivery itself.

I kindly request Amazon to look into this matter and take appropriate action so this does not happen again.

Pathetic Operations, competitors do better

I’ve been an Amazon customer for years, but my recent experience with Amazon.ae has been deeply disappointing.

My account was restricted without a clear explanation, and despite multiple attempts to contact customer service, I received no response at all—no acknowledgment, no guidance, nothing. The lack of accountability and basic communication is unacceptable for a company of this scale.

Ironically, this situation pushed me to try competitors like Noon, where the difference was obvious: timely deliveries, accurate locations, and responsive support. The experience highlighted how far Amazon.ae has slipped in execution and customer care.

This isn’t my first issue either. Around four years ago, I faced a major problem where a damaged laptop was never refunded due to internal mishandling. I gave Amazon another chance over the years, but the same patterns persist.

At this point, trust is the main issue. Reliability and customer service matter more than brand name—and Amazon.ae is falling short.

Not The Same ……

It’s my go-to online shopping platform but since recently they seem to have a change in management with regards to customer service department because the online chat agents behave differently and all that trust customers have that Amazon is an Ernest and a SAFE platform will vanish. The other problem is that 8 out of 10 times the seasonal discount codes don’t work and when you contact the customer service they ask you to go ahead buy the items without discount and once delivered, come back and we will issue the discount to the gift card balance, meaning you can only use it for future purchases on Amazon. Whoever has implemented this policy must be a twisted person by nature and is doing no good to Amazon’s clean image for being an honest and reliable selling platform. They are projecting themselves as twisted schemers hungry for business trying to tie buyers in buying again. Amazon does not need such policies or reputation and better for them if someone reviews this cheap policy that does not go with Amazon at all.

I have been charged a very large amount…

I have been charged a very large amount without my knowledge or consent. This is fraud. There were multiple unauthorized transactions made on my account every two minutes, each with different amounts.
Someone was able to access my account, my sensitive and financial information was compromised, and repeated payments were made on Amazon.ae without any authorization from me. The app’s security is extremely weak.
As a result, I have suffered serious financial loss — all my savings are gone. What makes this situation even worse is the lack of customer support. There is no agent available to properly contact or urgently resolve this issue.
This experience has completely destroyed my trust in Amazon.ae. I will never use this platform again and strongly warn others to be extremely careful.

Still my go to online shop

I love purchasing from Amazon as a Prime member. However, some times that could've been a 1 day or same day delivery are now tagged as 2-day delivery. I hope they sort them asap.
