Not recommended
Most of the reviews focus on weight loss and no doubt altralife works as VLCDs do work, if adhered to. However, my concern is the quality of the product. Even if I'm on a weight reduction programme, I do require what I eat to taste good. The shakes are powdery, with a chemical aftertaste. The snack bars taste okay but have a rubbery texture. The free shaker is decent. The soups are absolutely revolting. Given the variety of alternative brands on the market, it is demonstrably possible to produce a fortified soup that tastes decent. I can only assume that the ethos of this brand is to punish overweight people. I lost a stone on Slimfast and will be going back to it. I will never buy altralife again.

The shakes taste nice and even though they are with water you literally cant tell it is. Best tasting ones I've had. However, the fact the price has gone up 100% £35 to £70 is just not justified and when I've used my 50% off ones, I will be going somewhere else

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the delivery experience didn't meet expectations, although we appreciate your understanding that this was related to the courier service. It's wonderful to hear that you've had such a positive experience with Altralife itself – your support means a lot to us. Thank you for choosing Altralife!
Expensive
I did the plan via the NHS and really benefitted from having a health coach. Since then, I’ve wanted to rejoin to lose more weight but it’s ridiculously expensive. When I got a code the 1.5kg packs were £28 and now when I’ve looked they are £65?! You should offer a lower price as an incentive to those who’ve done the plan via the NHS.
