My financial advisor highly recommended Alpine Gold. I became a member in 2022. I had wanted to invest in physical gold for a while. As far as I know, this is the only company the has a 0% buy sell spread. I invested in goldbacks because of zero storage fees and the monthly lease program.

The Goldbacks in its artwork represents a new age ideology rather than what one would think it would display: our founders. If the art represented our states' founders and not the emphasis on a goddess religion, it would grow and sell exponenentially. AGE seems to be turning its back on the Democratic republic and going rogue so it will remain a niche market rather than movement toward a gold standard. The rules change frequently. Buyer read the fine print.

My first time coming in. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. They walked me through the process to sell some of my precious metals. Also explained the services they offer. I will be coming back.

Dealing with Alpine Gold Exchange felt less like a reputable precious metals broker and more like a shady carnival booth. It is an endless loop of: fees for this, verify that, another hidden fee for this, you can't buy what you actually want, and "you need to do this step first." Every single interaction feels designed to move the goalposts and extract more cash out of your pocket before you even see a single ounce of metal.
To top it off, their customer service is absolutely atrocious. Instead of helping clear up their confusing guidelines, the staff was incredibly hostile and accusatory—treating me like I was doing something wrong just for trying to navigate their bizarre system.
Worse yet, the entire website feels like a massive trap to trick you into rolling over your IRA just so they can drain it in administrative fees. If you want a straightforward, transparent transaction without a toxic customer support experience and a constant bait-and-switch routine, look elsewhere. Absolute headache. Avoid.

Robin was so much help to us as first time buyers of gold backs. Spending the time to go over the different options we had and going over the pros and cons of each option thank you so much we look forward to trading with alpine gold and silver for many years to come

I wish I could give a zero.

Some of my friends sent their silver to be deposited into their UPMA account. They felt the deposit fee UPMA charged was reasonable. So I thought I would do it too. But when I did it, they took out almost twice as much percentage wise as they did from my friends a few months earlier. So I haven't sent any more in since... likely will never do business with them ever again if things can’t be made right. They made a huge change and didn't warn any of us. Not a good way to do business.

Alpine has exceeded our expectations. They are patient and mindful in a market that can be confusing. Working with Austin Todd has made the process stress free. Highly recommended..
