I've been involved in trading for many years and have tried different approaches along the way. I've now been part of the AlphaTrends community for about two years, and for the first time I feel like I've found an approach I truly believe I can build on for the long term.

What I particularly value is the combination of multiple timeframe analysis, VWAP-based entries, and disciplined risk management. Brian and Andy don't teach unrealistic expectations or easy money. They teach a process that requires patience, consistency, discipline, and continuous learning.

Brian is the most honest person in this business that I met. There is no sugar coating anything or any emotional approach. He will give you an honest opinion. You are the only person that can change your own situation. And Brian will help you to be better trader, but you have to do the work. He will never give you fish, but he will teach you how to fish. With real trades that you have to decide for your self if they are good for you. He will guide you thru but you are the one pressing the button.

I have been trading for over 20 years but always as a longer term investor. After researching how to trade on a shorter timeframe I came across Brian Shannon's books about the anchored volume weighted average price (AVWAP). This led me to his website and X where he offers a very reasonable subscription. After experiencing that I subscribed to his full service from the website and have learned so much. I now trade on any timeframe and continue to learn every day thanks to the service!

I have only been an Alphatrends subscriber for a few months, but in that short time, my trading performance has come up more than in the previous year of struggling to stay consistently profitable. I had previously subscribed to another popular Swing Trading service, and was only told to buy this or that stock, and sell here or there, but I never learned why some trades worked and others did not. (their performance was only a little better than the S&P!). Brian's approach is to drill the fundamental workings of VWAP and multi-timeframe trading, stressing risk management, and "making the trade your own" which forces me to look for low risk, high probability setups using his time tested strategies. Bottom line?...a great educational experience....I expect that down the road a bit, that I should be able to "cut-the-cord" and fly solo in the ever changing market environment. Thanks, Brian!

I view Brian Shannon's Alphatrends as an educational service for active trading that uses real time examples to illustrate it's core guiding principles. It emphasizes risk management as a priority and the need to make trades "your own". This is about teaching and learning the disciplines to become an independent and successful active trader. It is not a "stock picking" service and is for people who want to learn how to trade for themselves. Brian Shannon is a no nonsense, down to earth and highly credible active trader and teacher. Genuinely a content rich opportunity.

I've been following Brian for a long time (four plus years) and have been able to take the journey he offers learning about the VWAP to another level. He is positive and honest. Leaning the VWAP and trading from someone like Brian has been rewarding and profitable. He is professional and provides great insights into the VWAP indicator. Everyday Brian gives you a sense of where the market is in general. Then goes into details about particular stocks. Brian always gives you actionable ideas/techniques on risk management (stops). The service is fantastic, and Brian manages to continually improve it!

I have become a much better trader because of Alphatrends. Brian's decades of experience make him an excellent trading coach. His books on technical analysis are second to none. He provides actionable swing trading ideas as well as defensive coaching when the market becomes less hospitable. He doesn't provide an alert service that says "Buy here...sell there..." Instead, he outlines scenarios to be mindful of as you watch price action for a low-risk, high-probability entry. He also offers a private Discord server where subscribers can interact in real time, ask questions about ideas, and share their own trades. I find it an excellent value add.

I have been an Alphatrends subscriber for many years and I consider it one of the best sources I have found for instilling a consistent methodology, and trading and investing discipline. While my style varies somewhat from Brian's I find his objective, non-emotional approach to market action to be very helpful, and he consistently brings stock patterns to my attention that I was previously unaware of. I constantly see mainstream stock recommendations that violate Brian's principles and I think most investors would be far more profitable if they followed the approaches Brian suggests, or at least made themselves aware of the risks they are taking when they don't. I recommend Brian's service for both experienced and newer traders and investors.

This service provides much more than advertised. Brian discusses actionable trades that are low risk. Trade suggestions are valuable, but the biggest value is the knowledge transfer that he provides. Becoming a member of Alphatrends allows you to have a DAILY teacher transferring his 30 years of experience. I have hired guides for fishing many times, a single day is nice, but nothing compares to Brians teaching style that allows you to BUILD a valuable skill.
