Steer clear of this company.

I engage with ALLSUP thinking I needed assistance in guiding my SSI claim. I clearly did not need any assistance.
Mirrored intake: I found that ALLSUP has mirrored the Social Security submission forms and then transfers their form data to SSA. There was little to no consultation.

Automated Emails: I received a ample volume of automated responses that were the same information DSHS and SSA provided. There was no meaningful live representative calls.

DSHS Coordination: I engaged more the Washington State Division of Disability Determination manager over my case. They are asking for all of the form information, setting appointments etc. ALLSUP just mirrored their correspondence.

They secured a staggering cost of $9,200 for doing no work over a 2 year period.

Steer clear of this company

I have not gotten a positive answer to any of my claims. They one thing Allsup does that I like, is that they have all of my things in one place for the information that is needed. But I do not like my representatives not calling me back. Back in October and November I asked the chat and called the information number, to ask them how to add a witness to my appeal hearing. This representative didn't call us back at all. The appeal date ended being rescheduled due to a wind storm knocking out power at the appeal location. So, it was rescheduled to May 5th. During this time, I got a new representative and no one called me about it. I only knew because I got a document I needed to sign about changing people. But no one said why and I wasn't officially introduced. He called me about two weeks before my scheduled hearing. When he went down the list of things to expect he didn't mention adding any witness, nor did I think about it at the time. But on the 5th was my appeal appointment on a phone call. I was my only witness. And I got the feeling that it didn't go well. I also hate phone interview because you cannot see people's reaction. I don't know yet if this appeal will be approved or not, but I don't have a good feeling about the issue.

Im a medically retired Army veteran that served for 23 yrs. I was referred to Allsup by another veteran that had used them. Don’t believe their hype. They talk about having all this technology that keeps track of your application and that they are able to foresee any mistakes to prevent any delays and insure your approval. I waited for over 2 yrs and got 2 denials. Allsup did absolutely nothing to assist me. When I would ask how things were moving along they would always reassure me that everything was moving smoothly. When I got my first denial they assured me again that it was normal and that they would handle the situation. Then I got denied again. 2 yrs of waiting being told that I would get back pay and that everything was gonna be fine. After the second denial I called them and they told me that getting denied 2x was now the norm and that they could insure me the 3rd time I would get it approved. I kicked them to the curb and hired an actual attorney and so far in a few weeks they got me closer to getting approved than Allsup ever did. Allsup is a scam. Don’t waste your time. I wish I never used them.

3 years of wasted time and now I have to start all over again. Plus, no one ever told me that if I get denied at the appeals level, everything I put down as a disability I can no longer use on a new application to SSD. I have to wait till a new disability arises. Lmao! What a joke. My lawyer put down as a response to my second denial from the same judge was appealed. The response he only made was "still disabled". Lol that's it. Wow like anyone would consider someone serious enough when that's all that is said. Where was the fighting for me at? No where. I was just a number. Now I am denied at Federal hearing as well. Years wasted. I am completely devastated and Allsup has dropped me.

I previously posted a review of my Allsup experience. When I originally posted it I noticed that every other review had been responded to except mine, which offered picture evidence of my complaint. The review was later taken down with no response given.
I had to hire a lawyer to get my social security after Allsup took on my case twice and I was declined both times. My lawyer told me there was no question why my claim was denied after seeing the questionnaire that was turned in by my previous representative,(which just happened to be Allsup). The activities questionnaire asked what is involved in my previous job as a custodian. The correct response is very detailed because it is an active job with walking, standing, stair climbing, reaching, etc. When asked how many hours were spent doing these things Allsup answered none to all of the activities. I thought there must’ve been some horrible mistake but then there were other questions asked where the answers had to be written out more thoroughly, explaining that I did not lift anything at my job and then that allowed them to leave blank the following questions about the details of the activities that they claimed I “didn’t do” in my position as a custodian. How many custodians do you know whose activity questionnaire has the same answers that are the same as if a potato were filling it out?!?
I was devastated to say the least and incredibly disappointed in their representation in apply for my social security. It’s been almost a year since I received my last check from my long term disability. Im stilled disabled, I still can’t work. I have a 7 month old baby and no income because it takes so much time to hear back from social security. After the time spent filing with Allsup and waiting for a response, then I had to re-file, this time with a paid lawyer, and I am still waiting for a hearing date to be set. I was asked to give proof of my claim so hopefully this was enough detail to prove it.

I appricate the way the represenative answers my calls and keeps me updated.

Regina never returned any of my calls or emails. I had to do all of the work myself. I didn't get backpay and now they want to charge me $2500 and take $400-$600 a month out of my disability check.

Don't use them. They drop the ball and pass my sister's (tongue cancer) case to other attornies without telling us. They do not get her medical updates. They submit her paperwork for social security with out the correct documents. Management will never return our calls. They say they will in 48 hours but 2 weeks later we have to call back. You can never get through to them. Terrible company to help you get disability!! Your just a number and they have zero compassionate for terminal ill people.

I was referred to Allsup by a friend. I honestly didn't think the outcome would be as good as it was. Everyone that I spoke to was amazing and willing to help me with whatever questions and concerns I had. Many times I called and emailed for updates because I was concerned about the outcome. Each and every representative was patient and friendly while they checked on my case. It was an absolute pleasure to work with everyone. I will definitely refer anyone in need to Allsup LLC. Thank you very much for helping me.

Very personable and explains things well and fights for you and your rights to win your disability needs. I would refer them to anybody I know.

They heard about my situation and couldn’t get rid of me quick enough. They only want to“fight” for you if they are 100% sure they are going to win. They are solely in it for your money.

Allsup assisted in a very long drawn out and cumbersome process with efficient instructions and prompt responses throughout the entire 19 month process. Very happy to have had them in the middle between the applicant and SSI.

They don’t help me.

Through the whole year since I applied for disability it's been nothing but stress from Prudential the only person I have talked to that has shown me empathy respect and always resolved my issues was Miss Helen and resolved my issues always called me back in a timely manner with a kind voice a caring voice and that is so hard to find nowadays I like to let allsup know they have a very valuable person working for them if we had more people like Helen in this world it wouldn't be so harsh. She understood that I had congestive heart failure she treated me so kindly it's hard to express how grateful I am for her. I continue to communicate with Prudential which has put me in the hospital twice with palpitations and shortness of breath. I would like miss Helen to be recognized, as Maybe other employees will learn from her. I am so grateful that she was assigned to my case. I could go on and on but there are no words to express what an amazing person Helen is. I hope that this goes up the chain and that there's something they can do to recognize her or reward her with something. Kind and helpful people are so hard to find in any company. Allsup is blessed to have such a wonderful person working there, date of experience is since Allsup got my case in 2024 through current date case

They don’t even deserve 1star.
I contracted with them after I had a hearing date. All they had to do was get my file and rep.
Amy Klein ADR called and said she was as representing me about 90 days ago.
I have done and filled out everything asked of me and now my hearing is 3/13 and they tell me they’ve withdrawn. Amy did not even know. No vm and a letter I just received yesterday in the mail.
This place sucks and is clearly all about the owners big (im sure) house and profit. Mine wouldn’t have been enough.

Brandon Kortgard picked up where others had left me out to dry. He was able to get correct information where others failed me. It took 27 months from my initial denial. Brandon kept me up to date and informed. With this, all the correct information was finally submitted.
