Love the products and the overall installation experience. The are quite sturdy and do what they are meant to. Can't recommend enough.

I would have given 6 stars, but your website seemed to promise some glue would be included with the connection clips. The clips arrived promptly, but with no glue.

Hi Mark
Thanks for letting us know. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
We’re AlloyGator, the manufacturer, and we’ve recently taken direct control of your region to better support our customers. your purchase was with our outgoing distributor but we’re here to help.
If a protector keeps popping out even after reinstalling, it can only be a compatibility or fitting issue. That’s not normal behavior.
We can absolutely help get this sorted if you work with us. Please reach out directly and send your order details and a photo or short video to sales@alloygatorgroup.com if possible. Our team will assist with troubleshooting and make this right.
From beginning to end
From beginning to end, the experience demonstrated that excellent customer service still exists. When I couldn't load the gator onto my car, Dan quickly provided the returns form and postage slip. Royal Mail, predictably, misplaced the tracked return! Dan promptly assisted in resolving the issue. I highly recommend this team. Many thanks.

Decent price coupled with excellent service. No problem placing the order, talking to Alloygator direct (once), having ghe order delivered to the fitter and getting them fitted. Dan at On-Track Detailing was firstclass. Had them fitted to my previous car and they certainy paid for themselves by stopping me having to get the alloys refurbished when we damaged them.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and the issues you’ve described. We’ve checked our records and have no record of any order being placed in your name or indeed any contact from you. This leaves us in the position where we have not yet had the opportunity to investigate or offer assistance.
AlloyGators have undergone extensive testing and validation — including MIRA and TÜV approval to ensure safety, durability, and performance. When fitted correctly and to a compatible wheel and tyre combination, it simply isn’t possible for the product to detach in the way described.
We’d really like the opportunity to review your setup to understand what may have happened and help find a solution. Please reach out to our customer support team at sales@alloygatorgroup.com
with your vehicle and fitting details, and we’ll be happy to assist.

We’re truly sorry for the upset this situation has caused you. We work hard to protect our customers from counterfeit products on online marketplaces, as these are of poor quality and damage customer trust and brand reputation. Unfortunately, it looks like your listing was included in our report by mistake, and we completely understand how frustrating this must have been for you.
If your item is still in an unused condition, please reach out to us so we can arrange a return solution and help put things right. Our customer support team can be reached on +44 1527 909801 or via email at sales@alloygatorgroup.com.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and again, we’re very sorry for the trouble this has caused you.
Great Product with Room for Easier Installation
As a driving instructor, I use AlloyGators daily and overall, I’m very happy with the product. They do a great job protecting the wheels and also look stylish on the car. I typically go through two sets a year, especially on the front wheels due to frequent use.
That said, I wanted to share a bit of feedback from my experience. For the price, I believe the metal clips should come pre-installed, or at least pre-attached to the plastic strips. Fitting them myself can be quite time-consuming—I usually spend around 40 minutes just getting the clips in place and gluing them, often ending up with glue on my fingers. Installing the protectors on the wheels only takes about 20 minutes, so the prep work ends up being the most frustrating part.
It’s a great product overall, but a small change like pre-fitting the clips would make a big difference in ease of use.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and for being a loyal AlloyGator user — we truly value the insights of professionals like yourself who rely on our product daily. We're really glad to hear you're happy with the protection and style they offer.
We completely understand your feedback regarding the clip installation process. It's something we've looked into carefully, but at this time, pre-attaching the clips would significantly impact the overall cost — something we’ve worked hard to keep fair for our customers. That said, we’re always reviewing our processes and product design, and feedback like yours plays an important role in shaping future improvements.
Thanks again for sharing your experience and for choosing AlloyGator to protect your wheels!
Excellent product built to last and of course protect your wheels
Dan at AlloyGator has been very helpful with fitting advice and I really appreciate this.
The AlloyGators are very well made with a superior fixing system which isn't "stuck" in place like cheaper products. Imho they are very good value for money, especially if you have 20" black alloys like mine that cost £150 per wheel to repair.
I strongly recommend taking your car to an approved fitter if you don't feel you have the skills to fit the product. Ideally you need a ramp because the hammering in process requires a reasonable amount of force and I wouldn't be confident with a standard car jack. That said, if you are proficient then these can certainly be fitted as a DIY project.
You will of course need them removing and re-fitting when new tyres go on, something of a downside. However, just plan ahead for this. The same applies to replacing a damaged AlloyGator on one wheel (and if you're like me then you won't rest until it's done).

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you’re unhappy with the outcome. When you contacted us, we discussed the fitment and explained that the test tool provided should be used before installation to confirm suitability. In this case, the AlloyGators were fitted despite not being suitable for your specific wheels, which is why the clips were visible and the look was not as expected.
As two profiles had already been used, we offered a partial refund and also suggested Rimblades as an alternative that would work better for your wheels. We do our best to help in these situations and regret that our solution didn’t meet your expectations.
If you’d like to revisit the alternative we offered or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to get back in touch.
Company review removed because it was negative
Used alloygators. The company had my review removed. So I'll post it again in hope to save others damaging their alloys.
i have used these on two cars. they have ruined both cars alloys with corrosion when removed as apparently "if they are poorly fitted or the alloy is dirty before applying, this will happen"> they were fitted on brand new cars in the showroom. there was no risk of dirt!. the head office at alloygator have advised me renaults and citroens are apparently notorious for corrosion. however having had new cars for past 31 years and NEVER having any issues with corrosion until using alloygators i personally see a theme that alloygators have ruined the alloys! i stand by my assumption. i would never recommend. its cheaper to repair the alloy IF they get knocked,

Thank you for your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns. Corrosion is unfortunately something that can occur on certain alloys when protective layers are compromised, and it's why we emphasise correct fitting and surface preparation. That said, it's disappointing to hear this has happened on more than one vehicle, and we'd welcome the chance to investigate further. If you'd be open to it, please contact our team directly so we can look into the details and try to find a resolution. sales@alloygatorgroup.com
