I had an awful experience with Allen Home Rugs. The company copied Pottery Barn's rug name (Capitola Rug), pictures and description. You can see it on Pottery Barn's website (look for Pottery Barn Capitola Rug). Being the fool that I was, I thought Allen home's rug was the same as Pottery Barn's, but 20% cheaper. I bought Pottery Barn's rug sample and liked it. So I paid $1700 for a 12x15 'Capitola' rug from Allen Home. The rug arrived and it was a DUPE of Pottery Barn's! It was not the same color or texture. I contacted them and they would not allow me to return my rug or refund me. So I'm left with a $1700 12 x 15 rug that I cannot use. I would stay clear of this company. Also, I gave a 1 star review on their website for the Capitola Rug and it doesn't show up. So I wouldn't trust the reviews on the website.

At no point have we advertised, referenced, or claimed any association with Pottery Barn on our website, product listings, or in any communication. The rug design in question is a generic pattern widely available across multiple retailers, and is not exclusive to any single brand.
It is also important to highlight:
The 12 x 15 size you purchased is not offered by Pottery Barn for this design, clearly indicating it is a different product.
Additionally, Pottery Barn does not offer this design in a rust color, so it is unclear how a direct comparison was made with their sample.
We have never stated or implied that our rug is the same as or equivalent to Pottery Barn’s rug. Any such assumption was not based on any representation made by us.
Regarding your expectation:
Purchasing a sample from another retailer and expecting an exact match from a different seller—especially when the size and color are not even offered by that retailer—is not something we can guarantee or control.
Regarding the return:
The 12 x 15 rug is classified as a custom size, and as clearly stated in our policy, custom and oversized rugs are non-returnable.
This policy is clearly displayed on our website prior to purchase.
As for reviews, we do not remove genuine customer feedback. Reviews may sometimes be filtered based on platform guidelines, but we do not selectively hide reviews.
We stand by the accuracy of our listings and policies, and we remain open to reviewing any valid concerns if there is a genuine mismatch between the product received and what is shown on our website.
