Avoid at all costs they're scammers
Initially purchased a direct ticket to Asia after being directed to this company through an online flight search engine.
Following day received a call from Floyd whose name has appeared multiple times on reviews requesting more money otherwise I wouldn't have access to food and entertainment on the plane !
Obviously didn't feel right but couldn't cancel under their T&C's
On 22nd June , received a call from Dearest Floyd telling me the Airline wouldn't honour the tickets and suggested another flight non direct for an increase in the price.
Asked to cancel and received an email stating they would refund within 21 days.
Not satisfied I told them I would issue a Sec 75 claim , within minutes another poorly worded email was received from Sarah Ingram ( most likely a fictional name ) stating they had issued the refund and this would be back to my card within 3-4 days , still waiting , Sec 75 claim now issued via my Credit Card company .
Clearly this company sell non existent flights , keep your money for as long as they can to gain interest .
( Await response to this review from either the company offering a blanket ' we're so sorry , contact customer services .... blah blah ) or someone working for this company pretending to be a customer

The initial price looked but then could not be honoured and a supplement charged. Then trying to get a booking reference which the airlines recognised became a complete nightmare. Luckiliy eventually Donna came on the scene and was a star in sorting out the turmoil.

No flights & No refund
Just checking in to try and understand if anyone has received a refund from Airwaay? 7 weeks and still ongoing being fobbed off. I'm sure I'll get a generic response to this suggest I contact customer services. Do they think I haven't already done that and been ignored! It's also apparent that Airwaay are writing their own 5 star reviews. What sort of a company is this! Hopefully they don't treat the vulnerable as they have me and many others experiencing the same as me with 1 star reviews. There seem to be a common denominator, you don't get the flights you pay for, you ask for a refund and never get it. Be very aware!

I had a very bad experience with the customer service of this airline. We made a mistake by booking the wrong airport and contacted them to make a change. Instead of offering any real help, they charged us a penalty and additional fees. On top of that, they said it would take three weeks to process the refund. Now I have to wait three weeks just to get my money back and buy a new ticket.
What made it worse was the attitude of the customer service agent. He spoke to me very rudely and said it didn’t matter whether we booked with them or not. He clearly didn’t care about helping customers at all.
If you’re planning to book through this website, be extremely careful — because if you make even a small mistake, they won’t be helpful, and you’ll end up paying for it. I will not be booking with them again, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Exactly the same as everyone else. Tried scamming more money from me then said they can’t process the flight if I dont give it them so they can add luggage for over £100 more bringing it to £678 from £570 so I looked on the website directly and it was only £633 including cabin and checked luggage and you can’t actually get a flight that doesn’t already include baggage with them as it is automatically included in their price yet Airwaay claimed I couldn’t book a flight unless I add more baggage! They are claiming they will refund me within 21 days but I definitely do not believe that for 1 second. They was so unprofessional and I caught them out on so many lies and when I’d mention them the phone would go dead. I mainly dealt with an Indian man apparently called Shaun 😂😂 I just assumed that because it was through cheap flights .co.uk and you could use Apple Pay and google pay on their website etc it much be legitimate but my god I was so wrong.
These people are clearly scammers and I can’t stress this enough please please do not use this company

I previously wrote about my experience with the airline Airwaay. I found them to be unprofessional, untrustworthy, and deceitful. After they canceled my ticket, they promised to refund my money within 21 days, but I have yet to receive it.
I urge anyone considering purchasing a ticket from Airwaay to read the reviews before making a decision. Additionally, airlines that enter into contracts or deals with Airwaay should be aware of these reviews, as many customers report experiencing poor service. It seems that this is a common issue.
I want to emphasize that I have not received my money since they canceled my flight. In response to my previous feedback, they told me not to spread false information, but what I have shared is 100% true. If Uganda Airlines sees this, I hope they understand the troubles we face as customers when buying a ticket from Airwaay.
