Received unsolicited “award nomination”…

Received unsolicited “award nomination” emails from this company relating to the Midlands Enterprise Awards 2026.

After reviewing the communication, I contacted the organisation requesting clarification regarding:

the source of our business contact data,
the lawful basis relied upon for marketing communications,
and their compliance with PECR and UK GDPR guidance.

Despite multiple professional requests and reference to discussions with the ICO, no response or acknowledgement was received.

Businesses should carefully review any associated promotional or paid marketing opportunities connected with these awards and carry out their own due diligence before engaging.

This company is registered with the ICO but that does not make it trustworthy with your data.

Comment une société qui revendique 15 ans d'expérience n'a que 4 avis. J'ai un doute sur l'ancienneté . Où est le vrai du faux? A part une certaine insistance à m'inscrire à une nomination possible, je ne comprend pas la démarche commerciale.

AI Global Media has been operating for more than 15 years as a digital B2B publishing group, with multiple publications and awards programmes operating internationally. However, some of our review pages have only recently been claimed or consolidated, which may explain the limited number of reviews visible on certain platforms. You can also find 180+ reviews on our Google Business page, collected over a number of years.

Regarding our awards programmes, we undergo a nomination phase where nominees are contacted and invited to confirm their participation before progressing to the next stage of the process. All of our awards are free to enter and win, with all winners receiving a complimentary marketing package. We also offer optional paid marketing services; however, these are entirely optional and do not impact a nominee’s chances of winning or utilising the award.

DON'T BOTHER!!!!

The site basically tricks you into purchasing a subscription before you can use the platform. I asked for a refund, even though they claim 100% money back, they won't refund my purchase.

I knew the LUXLife magazine from my…

I knew the LUXLife magazine from my dentists table and was surprised they invited our company fastcruising.yachts end 2025 for a nomination in the Travel & Tourist Awards.

We send them our business information and were pleased it resulted in a nomination. But we were even more happy we were finally selected as 'Best Yacht Charter Company 2026 Netherlands'.

Two Companies with Spam like selling tactics.

aiglobalmedia & ai-publishing are the same company. One lures you in offering you an ‘award’ the other pressures you with almost spam like emails to purchase a package to promote your ‘award’. You block/unsubscribe from one, the other will pick up.

We have recently claimed this Trustpilot page and have become aware of the below review and wanted to respond. We do utilise two domains, the ‘@ai-publishing’ domain is integrated to our CRM system and was initially set up before we looked to move to more brand specific domains, while the ‘@aigobalmedia’ domain is utilised through our initial outreach. Though our unsubscribes are all linked together and if an individual unsubscribes from one domain it would be actioned on the other. As mentioned, we do offer paid marketing packages to our awardees though these are optional, and we offer a free of charge package alongside all our awards.
