I am utterly disgusted by my experience with Agora Business Publications LLP. They have demonstrated a level of deceit and incompetence that is beyond comprehension. Let me walk you through the nightmare that has been my interaction with this fraudulent company.

First and foremost, Agora claims to have sent me a barrage of emails—17 to be exact—regarding their so-called services. However, I can only account for receiving 5 of these alleged emails.

What's more appalling is their underhanded tactic of luring unsuspecting individuals into subscribing to their worthless publications. They shamelessly use health and safety as a guise to peddle their subpar materials. The free publication I initially signed up for turned out to be nothing short of a joke. It provided zero value to my consulting business and left me feeling utterly disappointed and cheated.

To add insult to injury, Agora Business Publications LLP has resorted to outright harassment tactics. Despite my explicit disinterest in their services, they have been bombarding me with payment demands sent directly to my registered address. It's clear they have no qualms about resorting to intimidation to extort money from their victims.

In hindsight, I deeply regret ever having engaged with this despicable company. Had I taken the time to research their reputation beforehand, I would have quickly discovered the myriad of complaints and warnings about their dubious practices.

In conclusion, Agora Business Publications LLP is nothing more than a den of scammers preying on unsuspecting individuals under the guise of providing health and safety support. I urge anyone considering their services to steer clear and avoid falling victim to their deceitful tactics.

I have signed up a long time ago for a free trial and never went back. This is the best HR update that exists. Easy to understand language, all updates explained properly, a fantastic way to educate in the HR field (at a fraction of cost compared to other courses).

This is a scam. I have been invoiced and referred to a debt collection agency for a service I did not want or use.
I have spoken to trading standards and they have advised me and others in this situation to ask the debt collection agency for the signed agreement. They will not have one as we did not sign for this service.
I’d highly recommend reporting to trading standards if you find yourself in the same position as me.
I have paid the debt so this does not impact my credit score but now I will take this to court without any doubts

I subscribe monthly to PC Knowledge and almost always find something useful which I didn't previously know. As a "non techy", this is so valuable. The helpdesk for subscribers has got me out of a difficult spot more than once too.

Excellent professional service

Reluctantly giving them 1 star, which is not deserved but couldn't give zero. My experience mirrors exactly that of all the others giving one star. A scamming company asking me to pay money for a produce I have not signed up to or received.

Hounded to pay money, told them I had not requested or had services. Now with a debt collection agency, who incidentally I cannot speak to are threatening me with action!

I have asked to speak to a senior manager at Agora, no reply. I have requested the MD to contact me on Linkedin, I am not holding my breath.

Absolutely terrible service when trying to tell them I have not subscribed to their service, just stopped short of calling me a liar. I run a software company that has nothing to do with any of their publications so would not sign up to them.

Next step is to take the information to the Information Commissioners Office, Trading Standards, Fraud Department, Police and anyone else that will listen to me to see how we can stop organisations like this SCAMMING people.

Worst of the worst!

Like most people have already stated, scammers!!!!

They have been chasing me for a membership I never signed up to, and awful business, looking at their site it is a joke cheap and goes with their employees who have awful customer service.

I will be sure to pass on my experience to my HR Network.

I had a disappointing experience with Agora Business Publications LLP. Their website promises valuable information and documents that you can use, and advertises a one-month free trial. I signed up without providing any payment details—no credit card or direct debit—as I assumed that access would simply end after the trial if I did not confirm continuation.

Unfortunately, I was never able to access any of the promised resources. Instead, I was overwhelmed by a barrage of marketing emails. To make matters worse, I recently received an invoice for £79.00. When I contacted customer service to cancel everything and clarify that I had never agreed to continue the service or make any payments, they were unhelpful and still charged me £19.95 for services I never accessed.

My advice is to steer clear of this company and avoid any offers or free trials they provide. They seem to operate in a way that borders on scamming, legally speaking. I regret not checking reviews on Trust Pilot beforehand. Stay away from Agora Business Publications LLP.

I got sent a bill from these people that I had not even signed up for !!! I sent them an email explaining I had not signed up for this and they sent me another bill including a late payment cost !!!
I’ve reported them to training standards !!

Scam.
Keep sending me letters saying I owe them money.
I have never purchases anything from Agora Business Publications.
I have checked my emails for confirmation correspondence. NOTHING.
I now have a debt collection agency harassing me and my credit score has been impacted.

Like many have said you are scammers.
I didn’t sign up for anything with you.

Health Warning
Stay well away from this scamming company that has no morals and constantly lies. Play games to try and get money from people who look at their view site.
They also breach GDPR regulations. I will be contacting the information commissioner's office about them. There is no debt and they pass on personal information to a third party without permission. So-called debt collectors

DO NOT GO NEAR THE SUBSCRIPTION
I naïvely signed up to the subscription, I only reviewed one document and never accessed anything else. They wrote demanding a payment for over £185, as I registered with my work address they have constantly sent letters to my work address as well as the main reception of my work place. They have transferred the money I owe to a debt agency before I even knew about the debt. The cost of living at the moment is a struggle and have debt on priority bills and this is not a priority over them, this behaviour shouldn't be allowed, even my priority bills have been more reasonable to deal with and sent less harassing letters. This really needs to be stopped from trading, customer service is disgraceful.

Do not even go near their website!!!

I naively went onto their website and then receive a letter demanding money for something…. Not a scoobies what.

It’s bordering on harassment the amount of times they have contacted me. I’ve got legal advice and reported to trading standards- it’s appalling that they are allowed to do this

SCAM - avoid at all costs. You don't realise you are signing up to a SCAM and they will be charging you after the trial period.

Took off my previous review total scam of a company please be aware
No it was not dealt with you conned me and threaten with court action I’m not the 1st person if you look at previous reviews your company is a total scam and should be stopped

This company is a scam! harassed by debt collectors saying I attended a course which is untrue . DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY

I am now being hounded and harassed regarding a service I was unaware I signed up for! I explained the circumstances. No customer care, no understanding- they are now increasing the amount of money that I owe, knowing an oversight was made andI do not have the money- they are now threatening Debt Collection.

Please do not use this service!

A BIG ZERO STAR FOR NO SERVICE PROVIDED!! THEY ARE AMONG THE BIGGEST SCAMMERS. Please don’t visit the site, THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY UNSCRUPULOUS. Once they have any of your details they start billing you. I asked them to show me a signed contract I get an automated typed reply as below
I have reported them to FRAUD PROTECTION AND TRADING STANDARDS. I’ve also informed my lawyers. I have no intentions of paying their RANSOM DEMANDS!!
Seriously with all these negative reviews you would have thought they would change the way their work, Surprisingly not

Also I have reported them to BBC watchdog. Strength comes in number, if you have been victims of this fraudulent company keep reporting them.
Also, note for the company if can send posted invoices why can’t you send a letter saying we are going to starting charging you, No!! That would be too easy for this FRAUDULENT COMPANY. Beware everyone do not even go on to their website!!!!

SCAMMERS
It is enough for you to pass through their website, and leave your details as requested for some free forms to be downloaded and then you get the invoice after a month. Where is the scam? Where is the catch? Simple, all the websites that have the intention to charge you will ask you for your card details, so you are aware that you will be charged at some point, no with these people, they would not ask you for your address, name, position and so on as otherways, no one will give his details to them. I have asked our solicitor and he said that are scammers who do not follow a standard policy, they have been reported to a trading standard and hopefully, legal action will be taken against them. DO NOT PAY ANYTHING, THEY MUST SERVE THE CASE TO THE TRIBUNAL FIRST, AND THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN AS THEY ARE FRAUDULENT AND HAVE NEVER MADE IT VERY CLEAR TO YOU THAT YOU HAD TO PAY AT SOME POINT AS REQUESTED BY LAW
